An OC of mine. I love all the tribes because I can explore their culture through my head cannons.
This man, he is a witch doctor. Not because he's a healer who uses plants but because of his morbid curiosity with aggressive or incurable diseases.
He will be moving over to the first continent soon to investigate their plants and illnesses. He theorizes that his continents compact population has cultivated more aggressive diseases so he should have immunity to the first continents sicknesses.
Perhaps we will see some of his drawings and notes on the new flora.
Redrew an adopt I got from @sinusoidaldysfunction.
This was the guy.
I really like this guy. One of the things I struggle with the most in art is color. Color just doesn't make sense to me so I found that working with a color palette someone else gave me was a lot of fun.
Edit: for got the at on the original makers name
i love ppl who talk in the tags bc it satisfies my deep desire to know ppl’s opinions on everything without needing to have a conversation with them and ask. even better when it’s a side tangent that barely has anything to do with the post, or a personal anecdote, or a joke. tag talker mutuals you’re my favorite. tag talkers rise up
Time Travel Fix-It-Fic idea where a Bad Ending happens, but then one of the characters is magically sent to the beginning of the story. it seems like they're the only one who's been sent back in time and they're like "Huh, is this my second chance? I have to try my best to fix everything! I have to do it on my own though, if I tell anyone else that I've lived a future with [Bad Ending], they would never believe me" so they try to push things toward a better outcome while staying secretive about the time travel thing. but it turns out that every character was sent back in time and everyone is trying on their own to fix the situation, but all of them think they're the only one who was sent back in time and that they have to hide it from the others, so they're all being secretive from each other and trying to act normal while fixing everything and they all have different ideas of what "fixing everything" even means and all of them are stupid and it just devolves into everything being worse

This is an old OC of mine who actually has a name. I'm pretty sure mangrove was a rain wing name but there is considerable overlap between the two tribes loose territory that I think works as a mudding name too.
She's a lil darker than I expected, I think I need to counter the coloring with some lighter horns, but I like her a lot
Since she's an old OC, of course she has a tragic backstory.
She got lost as a dragonet playing with her siblings and ended up floating down stream. Unable to find her way back home, she started following other older sib groups. Not always welcome but eager to learn, she developed a generally friendly repour with the population around her. As she grew she started to wonder about her lost family from years ago and started traveling up stream to find them.
I want to use her development to explore the mudding cast system. If not by blood, then how do they decide who is more important or who should be allowed in the palace? What are their jobs, how do they grow crops, canals????
Shout out to the time I attempted to photoshop together a hyperrealistic SeaWing and it was the most horrifying thing I’d ever made.
I also made a hyperrealistic HiveWing but I think I should keep that one to myself. Lotta bugs.
Uhhh I’m still chipping away at my Indigo design. I think I’ll do a piece with her and Fathom.
Just in case you forget this exists.
It exists.
I've been resource gathering for YEARS so now I am going to share my dragons hoard
