Soo-won and King Hiryuu theory

SPOILER WARNING!!!!!

So, I really don’t like making theories unless it’s obvious I’m right (and as far as I can tell, nothing about these two is obvious except their similar appearance and status as king), but here it goes.

Exhibit A:

Zeno, who we now know has deep emotional ties to King Hiryuu himself from personal experience, was apparently entranced for a moment when he met Soo-won.

Then again, Zeno has been around awhile and apparently visited the three other Dragons in their childhood, maybe he ran into Soo-won as a kid too and just had a moment of recognizing him.

When it comes right down to it, we simply do not know much about Soo-won. I am personally of the opinion that he’s a fine person, but aside from a few mentions about his own father’s apparently unjust death:

…we don’t know if maybe Soo-won had some profound experience as a kid, that only he knows about which gives him whatever drive he now has as king. I feel comfortable saying that he was the most mature of the thee musketeers (Yona was a ditz, obviously and Hak was intelligent but not motivated by large scale affairs) so I can see how he cares for them, admires them but still feels a little detached and misunderstood as a child.

My personal thoughts and theories:

--Soo-won has been known to make bold Heaven related statements.

“I will reform Kouka Kingdom in to the strong country it was like in the time of our ancestors. If anyone or anything gets in my way, even if it’s divine intervention, I will hold them down.”

“Gods of fantasy can not put the kingdom back aright.”

He could truly be ignorant of the Dragon’s real existence or some how be in defiance of them because he knows something no one else seems to. There could even be some other Being that isn’t a Dragon that is going to show up on the scene (isn’t that how these stories usually go; as you level up you find more and more people you’d never heard of pulling the strings?)

Maybe he is actually carrying out Hiryuu’s will to fix Kouka Kingdom on purpose because he admires the story. (it would explain why he holds himself in high regard as someone who is actually making physical change, rather than invisible gods, but is still technically doing what the mythological King Hiryuu wanted).

I mean, he could just be very passionate about the Kouka kingdom for many reasons…but I’m assuming there is a big plot twist coming. Hell, the mangaka   (Mizuho Kusanagi) may not even know where the story is going just yet. (it’s the creative process, you understand).

–There is the idea going around that perhaps Soo-won is the reincarnation of King Hiryuu and that Yona is somehow not.

I personally think Yona is really great and am very proud of her development and have no reason to believe the red hair and Dragon loyalty aren’t true indications of her being the reincarnation of Hiryuu.

– Ik-Soo’s prophecy:

“Darkness has fallen upon the land. The blood of the dragons will revive once again, and the ancient pact will be kept. When the four dragons are gathered, the sword and shield which will protect the king shall awaken, and the Red Dragon shall restore the dawn at last.”

Could it be that Yona is the sword, Zeno is the shield and Soo-won is the King? Zeno does say he’s the ‘odd pickings’ of the four Dragons, his immortality has to mean something.

(or Yona is the king and Soo-won is the sword…maybe Hak’s the freaking shield…or visa versa) It would sort of make sense…the two most important people in Yona’s life that aren’t the Dragons (or mother Yoon) would be those two: swordXshield. If they don’t know who is who yet, it would explain why Soo-won is currently occupying the throne, perhaps in Yona’s stead….

Is this scene somehow indicative of greater symbology and foreshadowing?

Yona did have that moment when she saw Soo-won on the battle field and was struck by his kingly goals. And she is apparently going to be an expert swordswoman eventually. Even if she never forgives Soo-won, she may help him for the good of Kouka as his ‘sword’. Even if Hak never forgives Soo-won, he follows Yona and ‘shields’ her–and by extension Soo-won himself. Or if Zeno is the shield he may just choose to stay with Soo-won. Either way the Red Dragon (not king, but ‘Red Dragon’) did technically unite and awaken everybody. Most notably after Soo-won made his first move when he killed Emperor Il.

Maybe Hiryuu didn’t want to be king so much as guardian. Maybe he new he was setting the stage for the true king. Maybe that is why discovering Zeno’s power freaked him out so much.

–Zeno also told Yona in the scene where he confesses his origin that she is Hiryuu but that she doesn’t have to live her current life the way King Hiryuu did.

–Perhaps it’s no coincidence that Soo-won and Yona are so closely related and grew up together. They could both be aspects of king Hiryuu.

It would be ‘selfcest’. (That’s comic relief guys)

–Let us not forget, Soo-won named the Manga:

–Could Yona and Soo-won actually be siblings? That is such a cliché plot twist it would actually catch me off guard. But it’s still interesting. And likely, among royals, I would guess. Soo-won doesn’t look like his father and we have no indication of what Yona or Soo-won’s mothers looked like. I do recall Emperor Il being weirdly fervent that Soo-won not become king when Yona wanted to marry him. Why did he have General Yu-Hon killed? Why did Il succeed to the throne as the youngest son?

–Apparently Emperor Il may not have been the one to ban the story of the Dragons…then who? Yu-hon? Their father?

–Kan Soo-Jin was technically stabbed by his own soldier and was thinking about King Hiryuu when he died because his men were denouncing his claim to be worthy of Hiryuu’s bloodline, causing him to have a flash back to happier story telling days with his two sons, but I think it’s worth pointing out that he died on the battle field with Soo-won watching him after trying to execute an unsuccessful coup d’état to dethrone him. Perhaps his last thoughts had a grander connection to Soo-won’s worthiness for the throne.

Also, here is something I want to know, specifically:

-when, why and how did Kye Sook and Soo-won become partners in kingdom controlling?

She is a Virgo...

She is that kind of girl that know exactly how you are feeling when you don’t even say a word. For her just a look it’s enough to guess.

She is that type of girl that know when you are lying right to her face but would never tell you because for her fighting over those things are useless, yet she will remember this when fighting with you.

She is the type to know all your flaws and fall in love with you even more after knowing them, even if you think there are things about yourself that are unlovable for her they are what makes you and she loves that. In her eyes those details are as beautiful as you.

She is that type of girl that always get you the right presents in special occasions, just because she knows all your tastes without you ever telling her.

She is the type that listen to any music without caring about the genre. For her, music it’s music independently of it’s type, singer or language. If she likes, she listen. Simple like that.

She is that type of girl that thinks a lot but talks a little, that feels a lot but show just a little. For her showing emotions it’s a definably a no-no. Her feelings belongs to her and only her, yet if you’re someone close to her she doesn’t mind sharing a little of information but not too much.

Be sure of what you want before going for this girl. She is not an easy task.

She is the sun and the moon, the pouring rain and the peace. All of this at the same time. Dealing with her it’s a daily struggle.

She is a critical girl not only with you but with herself too, don’t expect her to say what you want to hear but expect her to say what you need to hear in the sweetest way possible.

She is the type to caught everyone’s eyes without even trying, something just shine about her. With lovely eyes that are a mix of sweetness and mysterious at the same time you find yourself wanting to know her. And trust me, this is one of the best decisions you’re going to make in your whole life.

She is a box full of surprises, you think you know her but she is like a different season everyday. Just unpredictable. Someone you can’t read just because she doesn’t want you to.

She is naturally reserved, don’t try to push her because she will send you off immediately. You need to know when to give her space and when to pressure her to say what’s going on in that beautiful mind of her. You need to know how to read between the lines because

She is the type to say “Go away! I don’t need you! I’m okay” when in reality she’s saying “Please don’t leave! I’m breaking. It’s not okay”

She is the type that is all feelings but can control them really well, however her head it’s out of her control.

She is the type of girl that never stops thinking or worrying about something. Her brain it’s like a machine and never rest, so pretty often she has so many things on her mind and she thinks she may be going crazy. Yet she will never let it show. You can’t really know what she’s thinking and it’s frustrating because she know what you’re thinking before you even open your mouth. She can get to know you without even trying while you only get to know what she chooses to show you. It’s not on purpose though,

She is the type of girl that watches everyone and everything. She may not say it, but she did notice that new hairstyles of yours or your new shirt.

She is that type of girl that is delicate with soft features that gives you a feeling of peace even if you know that she’s actually a hurricane.

She is a mess yet she wants everything to be perfect.

She is smart yet she loves stupid jokes.

She is beautiful yet she thinks she’s not good enough.

She have many sides and you can’t choose which one you like the most.

She is the only woman who can be practical and deadly romantic at the same time. Being in a relationship with her means; discrete smiles, lovely stares, caring actions, loud laughs, coffee dates, movie dates, midnight talks, music, talk in general and tons of books.

She has a dazzling smile and a funny yet contagious laugh, the type to make you feel the need to do stupid things daily just to get to see it.

She is deep and loves to talk, can be a little shy at first but after she break out of her shell she never stops talking. Not that you care anyway, because when she starts talking about what she loves her eyes shine and you just can’t help but fall in love with her all over again.

She is the type of girl that will nag at you for not taking care of yourself and get mad when you say she is overreacting because “what if something bad happen?”.

For her it’s all or nothing, there is no in between. She either love you or hate you.

She is like a roller coaster that you don’t want to go down.

She is caring and it’s always there for you when you look back.

She is critical yet your biggest fan.

She is like a confident, a best friend.

For her the others always come first and don’t try to change her because that’s just who she is.

She is all at once, a mess, a perfectionist, and a big dork.

She is just herself and people can’t help but love her.

She is the sweetest person you will ever meet but probably the most sarcastic one.

She don’t voice out her feelings often but she show you in different ways everyday. You just need to want to see it. She is simple yet complicated, hot yet cold, lovely yet sarcastic, dorky yet smart. You can’t define her. She is everything and a bit more. She is a piece of art, something you won’t find everywhere, but something that everyone wants to steals from you. If she loves you, you just need to love her back. For her simple is perfect and perfection is her favorite thing, besides you.

When I figured it out, Wang So:

had hard childhood

was rejected many times and he’s scared of rejection

was lonely most of his life

has mommy issues

acted cold hearted and indifferent to hide his weaknesses

is real dork at heart

is loyal and honest

his feelings are strong

can be very determined

can be very warm and protective for people who are important for them

when he gets angry it’s very strong

rarely trusts others

is devoted to people who helped him and were nice to him

And looks like I’m some fucking female version of this character and that’s why I feel what he feels and I understand everything what happens in his mind. It’s so weird but I figured it out not so long time ago. I don’t think I’m the only one. Otherwise so many people wouldn’t love him and empathize with him. Aw, my baby..

Spring Anime 2018

As March ends and April begins, it is time to officially conclude the winter anime season. For me, this season was a great start to 2018 since it blessed me with a lot of adorable shows such as Sanrio Danshi, Karakai Jouzou no Takagi-san, and Gakuen Babysitters. As I anxiously countdown the days until my undergraduate college years are officially over, I’ll enjoy the ride known as the…SPRING ANIME SEASON!!!

Here are the shows that I am planning on watching:

- Boku no Hero Academia 3

- Piano no Mori

Two boys that share a common bond with the piano just sounds like a ship waiting to happen…I’m so sorry. Why am I like this?

- Devil’s Line

I started reading the manga after I saw the teaser PV and oh my god I am sooo looking forward to this. Plus, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka plays the lead!

- Tada-kun wa Koi wo Shinai

The fact that this is an original romance anime with Yuuichi Nakamura as the lead pushed me to put this on my watch list. Looking forward to this one!

- Butlers: Chitose Momotose Monogatari

I’m just in this for ikemen butlers and Tatsuhisa (Tatsun) Suzuki.

- Kakuriyo no Yadomeshi

This gave me Kamisama Hajimemashita vibes. Plus, it looks cute!

- Persona 5 The Animation 

I’m pretty much going into this one blind since I have never played the game. But Jun Fukuyama is the lead so…

Another adorable romance anime!

Okay, I’m going to be very honest…I didn’t even touch about ½ of the shows I said I wanted to watch last season so I am not entirely sure I’ll be able to watch all of this. But since graduation is in the middle of May, I’ll have more time to catch up on everything before the summer season starts. Anyway, hope you found something to watch on this list. So from what I’ve been told, cdrama 4th was always cunning and greedy for the throne. It was in character for him to become cold toward Rouxi.

But if the writers think that they would be able to convince me that dork!prince Wang So, aka the guy who just wants to go on dates with his girl and protect his brothers, will become dark and cold, then they have another thing coming. It will literally beat every single ooc writing ever in a drama.
