This idea has been bouncing around my brain non stop, so I wrote a little snipet. Might write more after I finish my current WIPs

The first thing Mel noticed during their reunion -as violent and messy it had been- was that Jayce's softness was gone. Both in his body -its plush curves and soft muscle that she loved to lay against being replaced by sharp protuding bones and wiry muscle- and in his mind -a fountain of unconditional love she had grown used to bathing in that had dried up when she least expected it, leaving her thristy and longing for its sweet freshness-.

Mel found herself mourning its loss despite knowing it was always bound to happen. She had known sooner or later a wolf would come around and rip Jayce's wings off to feast on his soft heart.

Mel pondered on who it could have been as she gently carded her fingers through Jayce's wet hair, smiling at its softness. She took a moment to appreciate Jayce's sleeping face, how even after being subdued by Viktor's magic his face still remained tense, his brows stuck in a perpetual frown, so different from his previous self I caused Mel's heart to clench painfully.

In an attempt to sooth herself and Jayce she began to gently sing an old Noxian lullaby her brother would sing to her. The tender tones of the song and her voice had the intended result.

Jayce subconsciously nuzzled into her thighs, his shoulders losing a little of that ever present tension, which was perhaps a hint not all of his sweetness was gone.

Okay genuine question. Chat, do we think that if s2 Viktor and Mel got power hungry, and joined forces to take over Piltover to recreate it in their own divine image. If this happened, do we think Jayce would crumble or renounce them?

Vander and Jayce

Can't stop thinking about how similar the scene where Vander picks up the sisters at the bridge in ep 1 and the scene where Jayce is mourning the child he killed are.

In both scenes Vander and Jayce are confronted with children that were directly hurt as a consequence of their actions, and a glimpse of the destruction that would follow if they kept walking on the path they were on.

They were forced to do introspection on themselves and their ideals, which changed them as people.

Lucifer and God in Hazbin Hotel

If God and Lucifer don't have a White Diamond/ Pink Diamond style relationship in Hazbin Hotel I don't want it.

I want God to be this ancient and primordial being who genuinely sees Lucifer's punishment as the equivalent of sending a child to their room, like the last 10,000 years have just been a minute to him.

I want Lucifer to still be his favorite, for him to be extremely loving yet condescending at the same time.

To him all of Lucifer's pain and suffering is equivalent to a scratched knee.

He would see Lucifer's refusal to come back to Heaven after their reunion as a child throwing a tantrum after being scolded.

Meanwhile Lucifer has to deal with a parent that doesn't listen to him and treats him like a doll. (Having an omniscent and omnipresent parent must be hell)

All while the rest of the cast can only watch this family feud.

Book Hiccup and Movie Toothless

I just want to know the opinion of book readers on how book Hiccup would react to meeting movie toothless.

Like imagine post httyd 2 Toothless drops through a portal that sends him to the bookverse, where he tracks Hiccup and instead of finding his Hiccup he finds book Hiccup (you guys are free to chose which book Hiccup is on) which confuses him because the person in front of him is clearly Hiccup but not at the same time.

What I want to know is how Book Hiccup would react to this dragon he has never seen before approaching him? Would he figure out how Toothless' saddle works? Would he be shocked by Toothless' many abilities? How would he react to Toothless' personality and protective yet teasing nature?

I ask this because i've been told there's no night fury equivalent in the books, and Hiccup regardless of the medium would love to catalogue a brand new dragon species.

Bonus points if book Toothless and movie Toothless meet.

Twinns

Quincy with real wings

An AU where the quincy race has actual bird like wings the color of their reiatsu.

And when quincy were more widespread they didn't hide their wings but as their population dwindled they were forced to either hide or cut them off.

Quincy like Ryuken cutting them off while Uryu hid them, only ever allowing them out in private.

Idk the idea just popped into my head and wouldn't leave me alone.

Characters Who's Blood is Power

Yhwach with amnesia

Yhwach is reincarnated into the human world with absolutely no memories of his past life. He appears in the Karakura river with no idea who he is or where he came from.

With the power of fanfiction we create a handwavey explanation of why Yhwach doesn't need to absorb souls anymore.

So he is just this normal person who can see ghost and has this sliver of power that fades away from him each time he tries to use it.

He is found by a small Ichigo who can't bear to leave this dazed, malnourished amnesiac man alone and takes him to the Kurosaki clinic.

Yhwach meanwhile has no idea why he feels so connected to the small child that found him.

Just a silly concept that came up in my head and wouldn't leave me alone.

The Evolution of Byakuya's and Ichigo's Relationship

I just find it extremely hilarious how Byakuya went from being Ichigo's biggest hater ever, to one of his biggest ride or die friends.

It is just funny af how he went from "you are absolutely no one, you are worthless scum" to "I will kill my mentor of decades simply because he is your enemy"

Aizen's Anime Depiction

I know there's been a lot of contention regarding how Aizen has been portrayed in the anime. With it making him more emotional and seemingly less stoic and in control. He looks more (for a lack of of a better word) vulnerable than he did in the manga and previous anime.

Which has caused a lot of fans who viewed Aizen as this emotionally invulnerable character that can never express anything true and is always walled off to feel discontent with how he's being depicted.

But I personally like the anime's take way more.

Let me explain: Aizen has been in a sensory depravation cell for more than 2 years completely restrained and lacking any human contact. For those who don't know sensory depravation and isolation are torture methods, which means Aizen has been essentially tortured none stop for 2+ years at this point.

Arrogant asshole or not that is bound to take a toll, a heavy one at that. It never made any sense to me how Aizen seems perfectly fine in the manga after what is basically physchological torture.

His more reserved and tense personally fits so much better in my opinion. He is still the asshole we all know and love but his time in muken has affected him.

What is your "I did not care for the Godfather moment"? BLEACH Fans

As the title says, about which thing, moment, character etc do you feel like this about.

Me personally it is anything to do with Grimmjow and Ulquiorra. I never got into those characters like everyone else did.

I was more excited when Nel and her fraction dropped in than by Grimmjow's appearance in th elast chapter.

I didn't cry when Ulquiorra died unlike when Starrk and Juushiro died.

Good Flood Invasion Counters P1

I am going to begin a series of posts where I explain why certain abilities from across fiction would be good counters to a flood invasion from the Halo universe.

First up we have: DECAY'S EVOLVED FORM from My Hero Academia

Decay belongs to one of MHA's main antagonists Tomura Shigaraki.

The base gives him the ability to completely disintegrate anything he touches with all five of his fingertips. While that doesn't sound all that threatening it is DECAY's evolved form that allows Shigaraki's DECAY to spread from one thing to another.

Picture it like this: Shigaraki touches the ground which causes his DECAY to spread to anything and everything making contact with the ground.

In canon this ability allowed him to destroy half a city in an incredibly short amount of time with barely any effort at all.

This makes it extremely suited to fight the flood because it doesn't require direct contact with them, can destroy hundreds if not thousands of them at once, turns them into dust which prevents the spread of spores and destroys the posibility of any left over matter from the contaminating other people or natural resources.

The ability also no longer requires all 5 fingertips to activate, though reducing the number of fingers reduces its speed and range.

The only mayor downside to this ability is that the user is not inmune to its effects.

Ichigo's reaction at Grimmjow's return

I get Ichigo being shocked Grimmjow is still alive but there is absolutely no reason for Ichigo to seem so tense around him, like at this point Ichigo would have an easier time killing Grimmjow than Aizen would have had in the arrancar arc.

Ichigo flicking his finger at Grimmjow would be enough to kill him. The PTSD must be strong af for Ichigo to seem to tense.

Yhwach and Adnyeus

I know we all joke (specially in the Bleach subreddit) about Adnyeus regretting siring Yhwach and how he is ashamed of him.

But I don't think it is all a joke, because a father that loved his child would never create a new world and then make it so his child would have to kill other people in order to live. Would have never intentionally create a world where his child and his people did not belong, did not fit in.

No loving parent would abandon their child in a completely new world with such alien concept as death all alone with no explanation.

Adnyeus had the power and knowledge to chose differently, but he didn't and really what does that say about him?

Yhwach grew in a world with no death but then was suddenly and forcefully de aged, had all of his senses stolen from him and had to come to the realization that he now needed to kill (a completely new concept to him) in order to survive.

I don't think Yhwach was born evil or delusional, but that everything he went through, everything he saw and experienced changed him.

And even after everything Yhwach still held some love for his father even if it was burried deep beneath several layers of hate and resentment.

Yhwach is in my opinion completely justified in having beef with his dad (doesn't justify the mass murder of countless souls though).

Conclusion Yhwach has daddy issues.

Movie Hiccup vs Book Hiccup in a Fight

As the title says movie and book Hiccup in a death match, each with all their available resources. Meaning movie Hiccup get things like his flaming sword and flight suit, while book Hiccup gets both dragons plus any weapons.

They have no knowledge of each other besides the fact the other is a dragon rider. They are both fighting to protect what they love. They start 100m away from each other.

A dragon fight followed by a physical fight.

¿Who would get thrown off their dragon first? ¿Who would win the fight on the ground?

Dark Kents

I need more of Martha and Jonathan being willing fight with nails and teeth for their son. They adore him, he is their miracle child that fell from the sky, their little star.

Being willing to do anything to protect their child, to guard his identity and heart.

I want them getting angry at seeing Clark cry over being perceived as a monster.

They own a farm, that's a great opportunity for getting creative with their protectiveness.

I want this as a fic (preferably with a dash of superbat, because they are my north star)

Meanwhile Clark is oblivious to it all, because his parents are the sweetest people ever.

The Snyderverse is not a grimdark story

Each time I see someone unironically call it grimdark I immediately know they are surface level watchers that let themselves get distracted by the dark lighting and explicit violence.

Because how can a trilogy of movies in which the main focus is returning hope back into the world be considered grimdark? Those movies are all about how trust and understanding are the right way to build connections and how those connections can make the world a better place. With the movie condeming those that refuse to trust and prefer to fear and hate.

Snyderverse Superman

I don't like the angle the story itself is trying to sell on him but I do think the reactions of the characters inside the story are realistic to what would happen to him in the real word.

Lex Luthor hates him because of his own internalized issues, using him as a scapegoat he can pin blame on. Pretending he hates him due to some higher purpose.

Bruce hates Superman because he doesn't understand him, and people fear what they don't understand. (and in this universe metas became common after Superman appeared so this Batman has no experience with superpowered beings, he didn't slowly increase the powerlevel of the powered being around him, he went from 0 to a 100, and that is scary)

The people who he has saved and cared for love him because they've seen him, they know him.

The people that hate him tend to be people in power or those affected by Black Zero.

He didn't get that much time to make the world know him, he was Superman for like 2 years only, compared to the 20+ he has in the comics.

He is this powerful being that sprung out of knowhere, that is bound to make people afraid, and no ones likes being afraid so they hate.

I think the most realistic part of the movie is the tv scene where people are sitting down and talking about weather he should be allowed to roam free or not.

As if it is moral to deny a sentient being freedom/ autonomy.

Because as much as it sucks to think about it is what would most likely happen if a superman appeared.

People say snyder superman is too angry or gloomy but who the fuck wouldn't if they were subject to hearing people treating them like an object and hating him?

The Kents in Death of Superman Stories

One of the most, if not the most heartbreaking thing I can think of throughout the different Death of Superman stories out there is that 90% of them are being broadcasted through television nationwide.

Which means the Kents are watching their son get bludgeoned to death by a monster, and they can't do anything to stop it.

Imagine watching your child get beaten to death and being able to do nothing but watch.

It is the Kents watching this miracle that fell into their lives get violently ripped away from them.

It is the agony of watching their child grow steadily weaker, of hearing him scream out in pain (they've never heard him scream due to physical agony like this before, they are frozen, the instinct that drives a parent to protect their child rendered useless by the situation), of seeing him covered in his own blood when they've never seen him bleed and knowing they can't do a thing.

It is seeing his body and knowing they have no real way of retrieving him, of giving him a proper burial, knowing people more powerful than them could steal his body and desecrate it, with them being able to do nothing about it.

MAWS Clark's New Suit

I've seen a lot of people complain. about it but honestly?

I adore the new suit, it has everything I like in a Superman suit.

The armour like texture that actually looks like it protects him, a regal/elegant look, the finger covering, the golden accents, the semi belt, the longer boots, the shoulder pads (people hate them but i love them) etc.

It represents his growth as a character and i love that too.

I love love the new suit, it is among my favorites ever.

I liked the trunks while they were here but i am kinda glad they are gone.

Superman in JL Dark Apokolips War

I am sick and tired of people blaming everything that happened on Clark. Blatantly ignoring the fact he never stood a chance at all and it all was going to happen regardless of the decisions he took.

Nobody, absolutely nobody, not even Batman knew Cyborg was spying on them but somehow the only one that gets blamed for it is Clark.

It wouldn't have mattered if Clark made the best, most perfect plan ever, if Darkside knew their every move.

Even if they had stayed on earth they still would have gotten attacked and killed because the invasion was inevitable, Darkside had his sights on earth since the first movie.

And as Constantine explains, Barry unleashed Darkside into the new timeline, so if you want to point fingers, blame him and his messing of the timeline.

Clark was basically stuck on a car with no brakes on a single road surrounded by walls with a giant truck aiming towards him at full speed.

He never stood a chance at all, he was as much a victim as everyone else.

Star Wars HOTD AU

An AU where it is the HOTD setting with Star Wars characters. There's so many ideas that won't leave my mind. Like:

The jedi as dragon riders who protected the republic. Having the force and their dragons. With lightsabers being an equivalent to Valyrian steel swords.

Coruscant as King's Landing. With the king being replaced with the chancellor.

Each mayor planet being a kingdom with the lesser ones being cities.

Mandalore as Dorne, with their dragon killing beskar spears and hatred of the jedi. Having been able to resist conquest and refusing to join.

The unkown regions being the zone beyond the wall. Where sith magic and the darkside abound.

Plot wise I was thinking about how similar Daenerys and Luke are. Maybe Luke is the one that brings dragons back into the realm in a parallel to the ritual Daenerys did, only with Darth Vader, Sidious and himself instead of Khal Drogo, Mirri and Daenerys.

Or maybe we could see Anakin falling to the darkside and leading to the end of dragons and jedi alike.

There's so much that could be done with this idea, but i am curious as to what other people think.

MOS Pa Kent and MAWS Pa Kent

I find the polar opposite depictions of Jonathan in these stories incredibly fascinating.

MOS Jonathan shields and separates Clark from anything related his heritage, including things like his ship and powers. Encouraging suppresion and caution in Clark.

Actively telling Clark to hide his powers and never use them, scolding him whenever he used them. He is a man terrified of the world taking his son away from him, specially knowing he has no real way of protecting Clark from anything that may seek to harm him. So he encourages him to hide himself and avoid drawing any attention.

He is a more jaded and cynical man, immediately assuming the world would attack and try to kill his son (he ended up being right, which is its own can of worms), would try to rip his miracle child, his star baby away from him.

He only sees a world that would harm the child he so desperately seeks to protect, that child he loves more than anything.

MAWS Jonathan is the complete opposite of his MOS counterpart. He is the one that encouraged Clark to discover himself, to make contact with the ship, to practice his use and control of his powers, even turning that into a game a young Clark could enjoy.

He is aware of the shock Clark´s existence will create but in the end he has faith in humanity seeing Clark for what he truly is, someone who just wants to help others.

He is more optimistic and cheerful, thinking of the best and encouraging other people to do so too.

In MAWS, Martha is the one who is the one who wants to keep Clark away from anything alien, the one that clings to him and wants to keep him hidden.

While Jonathan is cheerful over Clark deciding to go public and help people, Martha is the one that is slightly reluctant (though not to MOS Jonathan´s level, like letting yourself get killed by a tornado because you don´t want your son to expose himself is extreme though somewhat understandable) to let him go, though she eventually gets on board and creates his trunks.

This dicotomy is reflected on Clark´s abilities.

Flight is one of his most characteristic abilities and it often serves as a metaphor for Clark feeling free and accepted, it comes in moments where Clark learns to love and accept himself.

So it is interesting to see how in MAWS it is one of the first he obtains while in MOS it is one of the last ones. Showing the difference in how their settings and enviroments reacted to them.

MAWS is honestly amazing and I am incredibly glad we got this adaptation of the Superman mythos. It is so unique and refreshing. I can´t wait for season 3.

Regardless of its flaws I genuinely love MOS and its depiction of the Kent family. Its different from what we are used to in comics and tv shows, but it offers a unique take on the Kents dealing with Clark´s powers. At the end the day Jonathan is just a father terrified someone will hurt his child and he won´t be able to protect him.

Anyways this ramble has lasted enough, love both pieces of media to bits.

Ghostmaker in Superbat fics

I need more Ghostmaker in Superbat fics. More of him coming in and being an annoying ex.

The tension between Bruce and him is so real, add Clark into the mix and there´s a lot of potential there.

Where´s my angsty 100k fic about them???

Just think of the possibilites!! I need this as a fic.

Brainiac’s Fate

Something tells me Brainiac is not going to be fully defeated this season, like he is somehow going to escape while our heroes think they defeated him.

I feel he will return to cause trouble in later seasons, maybe teaming up with another Superman villain or maybe being the creator of Doomsday in MAWS (or something like that)

It is just he had been built as this bigger than life thing yet I am supposed to believe he is going to be defeated in 2 episodes? I doubt it.

Maybe I am wrong, who knows? Only time will tell.

Batman’s Rogues seeing Superbat

I am currently writing a fic in which we get to see Superbat developing into a relationship through the eyes of Batman’s Rogues gallery.

In kind of a 5+1 things format.

With each of them having their own opinions and thoughts on the heroe couple. Along with it being an exploration of that respective rogue’s character and relationship with Batman.

So I wanted to ask for suggestions for scenarios on the fic and which rogues I should use.

Clark Kent vs Gotham’s Rogues

Superbat Idea

Batman’s enemies find out the Bat has a thing with Metropolis’ reporter Clark Kent. So decide to try to kill him (without success)

He is either always saved by Batman, the shots never land, he survives accidents without problem, the guns used to try to kill him always break or people suffer head injuries before landing their shots.

After so many failed attempts people begin to think Clark is a meta, but with some sort of Luck manipulation ability.

Clark and Bruce catch wind of this and go: task failed successfully I guess.

MAWS Clark’s Strenght

This has been a point of contention for a lot of people, with some saying this Clark is incredibly weak, and while he is definitely not the strongest version of Clark out there. 2X8 proved Clark holds back more than he himself even realizes and that his grasp on his own powers is primitive at best.

Even when fighting for his life and giving it “his all” he really wasn’t. He was still holding back.

Because seeing his fight with Kara and then comparing it to Brainiac’s fight with Kara, we can see it was Clark’s mind not his body which made him lose fights.

Brainiac rag dolled Kara during their fight, meanwhile Clark was getting tossed around by Kara and only landing a few hits.
