I’ll expand on it soon I promise, but I realised I’ll need to figure out the roles before properly starting the au’s story

Genshin Impact Xiao x Traveler stp au

BUT!

The softer Princess is Aether(soft prince ig?), The harsher Princess is Lumine and Xiao is long quiet ig? Cause...y'know...Xiao is bird boy. However, the voices are some of the traveller harem!(So I guess its actually a Traveler haram stp au lol) Save Voice of the Hero though as he could just be Xiao's conscience or smth.

For example how I would see it(Just to be clear they'll be different compared to the actual voices personality wise for the most part as they are you know...Not the same characters?):

Voice of the Hero-Xiao's inner conscience ig? I mean the Hero is supposed to be the player so I'm not too sure?

Voice of the Smitten-*Edited* Lyney has been my first request for smitten! I actually do believe this is sensical and i'm glad it was recommened lmao, but I also got recommended Citlali when it comes to her issues with losing people and the attachment she has to those she breaks down her walls for.

Voice of the Cheated-Scara/Wanderer, I take no arguments unless its another good suggestion

Voice of the Cold- *Edited* Arlecchino got recommended and I think it fits better than Ei actually, I was kind of just guessing at first but Arle works a lot better :)

Voice of the Broken-Furina, our tragic queen would DEFINETELY work in this role

Voice of the Contrarian-Venti, Itto, Yae Miko, or literally any other cheeky and/or reckless bastard in the game

Voice of the Paranoid-*Edited* Diluc was first recommended for this, but not to the degree of the og VOTP, he just distrusts people more than actually being scared of them like VOTP

Voice of the Opportunist-Kaeya could work for this, you KNOW this man would pull something if he was one of the voices

Voice of the Skeptic- Keqing, Wriothesley, Alhaitham or Beidou could work for me

Voice of the Stubborn-Childe is so VOTS coded its actually genuinely uncanny-so yeah, obviously him

*Added* Voice of the Hunted-I COMPLETETLY FORGOT TO ADD THIS IN-Anyway, Kazuha was recommended which can work very well imo

Narrator-DAINSLEIF! DAINSLEIF! IT WOULD MAKE SO MUCH SENSE!

Since I wasn't able to do all of the voices, feel free to give me suggestions on which ones would work, or even give them for the ones I managed to do if you don't really agree!

This was messily put together with a random thought I had but feel free to respond with ideas you'd have for the au! I might write a fanfic on it if I feel up to it! Also I'll definitely make another post adding onto this au later :)

chiscara where they had a slight romantic/sexual relationship in the fatui where they were close and slept in each other’s bed but they were so secretive about it and never told each other how much they truly enjoyed their time together and then they meet back up post irminsul and childe doesn’t remember him and scara doesn’t want to talk to him and feel things from the past but goes against his better judgment and does anyways especially when childe keeps talking to him and following him and has such an interest in him and it leads to them both feeling things for each other again until they kiss and suddenly childe is remembering things and it freaks scara out but as he gets all his memory back they start getting closer even if it’s scary for both of them and they’re so in love and they can’t hold back anymore and-

There's this amazing Genshin animator that you guys need to WAKE UP AND CHECK OUT!

There's this artist on yt called "Liviart" and SHE IS SO UNDERRATED RAHHH

She's actually made quite popular animations such as the "Into you" Xiaoven animatic that she recently remade (and the remake is honestly amazing) or the "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" animatic but she mostly does shorts on her channel focused on her Genshin Modern AU but also does a lot of Chiscara content on her shorts!

Also her artstyle is just so cool in general, it's improved amazingly since her older animatics!!! I've been keeping up with the channel for a while and I just want to say her AU does not disappoint if you're looking for Chiscara fluff but also a lot of angst at times as well!

(She also does other ships on the side sometimes but she mostly does focus on Chiscara at the moment. As well as the fact that she is a multishipper I believe and has shipped other Scara ships in the past-right and she maybe still does but now she just happens to be in her Chiscara era)

Decided I'm gonna start posting the first pages of the comics I'm working on so I can still share with y'all what I'm working on

Everyone's making swap AUs and it looked fun! Couldn't resist! I wanted to doodle over the background, but I ended up trying to blend it with the same color palette and quick effects.

Xiaother Ramble on why I ship it over Xiaolumi

Okay so basically I love Xiao x Traveller in general and if you ship Xiaolumi consider yourself a homie but I personally like Xiaother more.

Honestly the whole discourse on Xiaother vs Xiaolumi is so stupid because technically speaking both Travellers are the same due to how little the game really expands on them but personally I ship Xiaother over Xiaolumi.

It could probably come from my love of opposites attract but it's a little more than that as well. From the little difference we've seen in the twin's personalities, a lot of people agree that Lumi is the more serious one. While she is a warm person, she is more stern and seems to hold her ground well. Aether is more approachable and easy to talk TO rather than AT, while he can be a people pleaser he's still capable of being assertive in a way.

Both of them are easily good for Xiao, their personalities play off of his quite well in the long run. Xiao is more reclusive and tends to keep to himself in fear of hurting other people and losing control, it was obvious he was confused when the traveller was so insistent on talking and interacting with him and was apprehensive at first but got used to them quickly. Not to mention the whole, "Call my name and I'll appear" thing.

When it comes to Xiaolumi, they are both quiet and more serious people that, while they are capable of warmth, tend to stick to their duties and prefer to get things over with efficiently. (They have such power couple potential I love them sm) But in my personal opinion, I feel like they wouldn't be able to always communicate properly and Xiao being with a person similar to him would draw him back from seeing himself as less of a tool, even if Lumi would constantly reassure him that he's not.(ANGST POTENTIAL AMIRITE?) Xiao would probably need someone who wouldn't just tell him, but SHOW him the positive aspects of life, and who better than someone with a friendly and approachable persona?

Xiaother are like this, Xiao is how I describe him and Aether being himself is able to draw Xiao's positive aspects out and influence him more when it comes to social and healthy ways of coping with his trauma or just his low-self esteem in general. Aether would be someone who'd convince him to open up and would be willing to put his tasks on hold to listen, other times he'd do his commissions and whenever he's done he'd try to find Xiao to check in on him. The only sad parts would be that Xiao would feel like he's unworthy of this love and try to backtrack in fear of hurting someone so kind, fear of corrupting someone who brightens his day even if he thinks it in silence. (SORRY I'M ATTACKING YOU WITH ANGST) Xiao might also need someone who can tell him things straight and knows when they don't need to fake a smile when they are overworked or tired which is where Xiaolumi would work better.

Overall, Xiaother is my fav out of the two ships because I enjoy the fluff and Xiao angst just makes me sad :(

But in all seriousness, both ships are valid as heck with both twins being so similar in the game when they are whatever role they are, but when looking at it through the aspect of what the game intends the twins to act-Xiaother is my ride or die because of their dynamic and because of how I enjoy the ideas and hcs in my head for them ESPECIALLY as a fanfic writer.

*Of course to note when it comes to me writing the twin's personalities most of it is based on common opinion and loose evidence mixed with a small hc or two so if you see the twins differently that is perfectly fine-I'm just a hopeless romantic with a love for silly ships </3
