Another mini comic I couldn't get outta my head. I'm haunted by these two/pos

I remember making a post about Ford having the sole privilege of being allowed to use the nickname Lee. Well, I have a similar hc about Ford using the name Stan—it's not super happy. (Which is what the comic is centered on).

((Abuse mention tw for what I'm about to discuss.))

It's specifically about Stanford saying it when he's angry, upset, exasperated, etc. Because Ford can sound like their dad I fine when he yells sometimes. And with how differently Stan was raised compared to his twin, yeah, it doesn't mix well.

I was also inspired a bit by the fic "Clay Pigeons" by PoggoFroggo on ao3, which I was recommended. And you should give it a read! It goes more into the idea of Stan and Ford having two couple different childhoods by comparisons. (I also recommended their other Stan twins fic. They're all great.)

But nah, I decided these ones aren't too spoiler heavy. The Ford one is basically just as the synopsis of both the fic and AU. I'm still keeping the other couple drawings I've made for this locked away until I'm finished, since they're literally scenes I've either written already or are going to write in a later chapter.

I'll share more details about it when everything is written. But I'd love to hear your theories! Especially about what could've brought Stan to Gravity Falls before Ford:))

Hc that Ford gets a job at a local community college as a physics prof after he and Stan are done sailing around the world and fulfills his destiny as the eccentric professor he was always meant to be

And he quickly gains a reputation amongst the stem students as That Professor

I bet his ratemyprof reviews would be insane:

“He didn’t grade any of our homework until the end of the semester, but he brought something called a ‘plaidypus’ to class and let us pet it. Her name was Dorothy. 5/5”

“He constantly ranted about how ‘triangles are the most untrustworthy shape’ whatever that means. Also he doesn’t know how to use the internet. I hated his class. 5/5”
