If Capcom decides to remake Code Veronica, imagine the potential power remake Steve Burnside holds. I’m certain that he’ll get the Carlos and Luis glowup treatment. Steve is a generally disliked character and if Capcom can change that, his entire character and arc might be another banger. Also he’s almost like the free trial period to Luis. He’s kinda cheeky. I've been reflecting on the situation for some time now... Corporate bullshit is nothing new, but I still didn't expect this turn of event (considering the success of HI-FI Rush, which wasn't colossal, BUT STILL). With all the rumors, I was hyped for the possibility of TEW3 or something related, and now it looks like the series is a hostage IP. It could be brought back by some other studio one day, but... I dunno. This whole situation is so wrong. I can only wish the dev teams all the best. 💔
