I think "identify" is a word with too much nuance for conservatives.

I AM a girl. I AM an enby. I AM pansexual. I AM a system. I AM demisexual. I AM polyamorous.

I don't "align" with these things. I dont "associate closely" with these labels - I am them. They are me. Think of it as a big equal sign in a sentence:

Me = Girl, Girl = Me

Who I am is not up for debate, ever.
