You Know What I Find To Be Terribly Ironic?

I did. But I also technically didn’t.

I may or may not have slept through a minor (very feelable though mind you, because my brother woke up and the walls were rattling about) Earthquake. It woke everyone else we were staying with up (we were out of our home state). My dumb ass slept through it like a baby. I wasn’t even on a proper mattress. I was on an air mattress, on the floor. I should’ve felt it.

Felt nothing of the sort.

I’ve also slept through some of the most major hurricanes in the past two decades though, so I mean do with that what you will. I also went out to take photos of wildflowers when a tornado danced just outside of my family’s house, and watched it from my bedroom window while I was still in an open field a short walk from our house recording and identifying a plant species for fun and I didn’t even hear it. :/ I’m just built different I guess.

One of these days my obliviousness will kill me I think.

And don’t get me started on the “isn’t bisexuality and pansexuality the same thing?” Argument people sometimes start. Technically no, there are more than just two genders and pansexuality means you literally do not care about that. It doesn’t matter to you what they identify as or what’s in their pants, and for some Bisexuals that might actually matter to them, even if to most you meet it doesn’t.

Here’s the other thing:

When I had to try and explain that to my mom upon coming out, that was exhausting enough. A stranger or even some family aren’t entitled to my explanations of my existence. Sorry, that’s up to me to decide.

That is a weird as fuck way to think about cuddling. Most animals (and kids too) are either given something to snuggle or seek out something to snuggle. Kids snuggle with blankies, stuffies, and their mothers. She’s weird if she thinks that all cuddling and canoodling is somehow sexual, especially if she ever rocked her babes to sleep while LITERALLY CUDDLING THEM. It’s a sign of trust and comfort.

Just realized that the reason I love making friends on tumblr is because it’s exactly how you make friends on the playground as a six year old. No, I don’t know their name but they love mermaids too and built this awesome sand castle. No, I don’t know their age but their imaginary cheetah is friends with mine. You like this show? Do you ever wonder if Phoenix annoys the piss out of Apollo in an attempt to push him away at first because he doesn’t want to put him in a position where if he dies suddenly, Apollo will long for his mentor’s guidance like he did with Mia but can’t get it because he doesn’t have Maya or Pearl as council like Phoenix did, and then suddenly he has his badge back and is like “well shit I can’t just switch up now” and just continues to be an ass to Apollo because he’s like ‘well I made this bed, time to lay in it’?
