When You Come Up With A Plot Point That Fits The Story Way Better But Is Way More Devastating

Had the idea to the story.

I was busy when it come to my mind and the task was important

So I finished the task and sat down to wrote the idea

I forgot half of it and couldn't remember for shit.

The next day I came up with the other half

It didn't felt so good as the one I forgot so I didn't wrote it down

Now I think it would be actually a good plot twist

I forgot that part as well by now.

Why does it always has to be like that??!?

Stanley Pines going from state to state, changing identities but not because he did something wrong but because he wants a clean start and never stops trying.

He refuses to steal, he refuses to con and trick people, he remains that naive boy on the beach looking for treasure.

Maybe he did 1 mistake. Maybe he joined a gang of criminals once and regretted it but now he tries to be good but somehow that 1 mistake follows him. Either people from his past come after him and he has to run before anything good happens or someone in the town he's in finds out and it runs his chances of finding a job, friends...family-

Funny how one mistake can follow you for the rest of your life. He can still hear his brother's invention spinning behind him.

Recently (obviously while being awake at irrationaly late hour while my mind is fried like a good chicken nugget) out of blue my mind reminded me of that gacha trend in fnaf fandom few years ago

With the song where it went something like this:

«Kid: „someone take me home"

Animatronic: „home?"

Kid: „the place where I can go. To take it of my shoulders"

Animatronic: „someone take me home.."»

And usually in those videos the kid got this shocked, horrified, sad expression, right? Cause there usually was like „the ghost" from the animatronic suit appearing/ the kid was seeing the kid in the suit, I don't remember very vividly but you know the deal

Well I just made myself sad by the thought, that actually, the kids would not see the souls in the animatronics. And most likely they would be more confused than anything. And they response would most likely be „but here's your home".

........yeah. Now if you excuse me, I'm gonna rot my mind with this thought for the time being

I'm sure all of you heard that idea where villain makes hero choose between their lover and the team/city. And of course in 99% of it hero chooses the team/city. Cause you know, hero and everything.

But you know what I would wanna see?

Where the villain makes hero choose between their team and lover (obviously), but they put hero in live-threating situation.

The villain shows up with the hero team and heros lover as their hostage. And the villain hands hero the gun and is like „to make it out alive, you have to sacrifice someone. Who do you choose?"

And hero WITHOUT HESITATION, shoot's the villain. Like not that the villain will die immediately but still be pretty serious injured.

And then the hero walks to the villain, GRABS THEIR SHIRT TO BRING THEIR FACE CLOSER, and then slowly, distinctly he says:

„Don't you ever make me choose between the people I care about".

Yeah. That's the kind of work I would gladly consume and let my brain rot over.
