and by the way, i hate reading an agere fic and the caregiver seems dismissive of their little ones' feelings or immediately threatens punishment when their little is being uncooperative or throwing a tantrum, instead of just talking to them（´＿｀） especially when the tantrums being thrown bc of something like not wanting to eat/sleep.
like obviously u want them to sleep well and eat so they won't be hungry--but why is the priority ticking a checklist of the things the little has to do that day and not the reason why they're refusing to do what or want or why they're actually upset. their feelings are a little more important than their bedtime....

It's always so funny how people characterize Peter Parker as someone who begins his superhero career bright eyed and grows into someone more cynical and pessimistic along the years when in reality it's the opposite and at 15 he held scorn for just about everyone in his life save for his Aunt May and at 25 makes unrealistic vows about no one dying under any circumstances when he's around
“the dc slate is full of c-listers no one is excited for these characters1!11!!1” the reason marvel had iron man rights to begin the mcu in the first place is because iron man was a total c-lister compared to marvel’s big three
the reason peter is apparently competent at a motorcycle when he cant drive cars is that he's unhinged.
the exact reasons people hate motorcycles (exposed, unsafe, no protection) are why he loves them. he has so much more control than in a car. gives him a sense of safety. actually lets him drive without self destructing.
Since I know that this is important for some of you to know, I hereby pledge:
I will never use AI for writing fanfic. The creative process of brainstorming, writing, rereading and refining is why I do it at all. That's the fun part. Everything else is like balm on your wounded fingertips after you've written and stared at the same words for over 5 hours.
It would feel like selling my soul if I'd use AI. I'd sell the joy itself. What pray tell would I get in return? More balm? For what? I didn't even touch the pen.
After adding so many tags, people crying and complaining about the lack of angst/fluff content in tags are very interesting to me. It's like you don't cook at all and then complain that the chef only cooks fast food that's not healthy. Then why don't you cook it for yourself? You just want to enjoy without helping anything and eat what others cook <3 If you want pure angst/fluff then at least like/reblog/comment more, or write it yourself. Instead of you complaining and condemning people who happily donate their time and creativity to their own interests.
Not trying to be negative here…but I think it's important. CN Discussion has been rumored recently that mihoyo has decided internally to return to their heart and create more female characters than male characters. And when I look back at the official actions of genshin and hsr, these seem to support this statement:
(1) HSR: There is only 1 male character among the 5 upcoming characters.
(2) Genshin: After many versions, the Neuvillette bug has been fixed. Only 2 male characters appear in the new Natlan trailer.
And Jiaoqiu is wearing NPC clothes. No one knows yet what his role in the plot will be, but it's really perfunctory and unfair.
The plot clearly promotes Firefly's "girlfriend" setting, with other characters teasing and pushing MC and Firefly to be together without focusing on describing her personal charm. She is a character attached to a romantic relationship setting. And we can’t choose not to be together. This problem has already appeared in Ruan Mei's plot. We are automatically programmed to be friendly to Ruan Mei even though she drugged us from the start. This shortcoming is intensified in Firefly's plot.
There are too many limitations in Mihoyo's games. I pulled Huohuo, Sparkle, Robin, Jade. Robin and Jade are characters that I admire, especially Jade, but the first two are just to support the male characters I like. Acheron is completely beyond ordinary power. Important, irreplaceable, needed! Most of them are female characters. The fact that there is no male Harmony character to this day proves this. Players who like male characters must get female characters, but players who like female characters can all use female characters to team up.
We spent money and effort on HSR and Genshin, but now using the money of players who like male characters to marginalize us? Very disappointing.
