i’m making this post to bring attention to a family in gaza who desperately needs help. amal ashour ( @amalashuor ) has reached out to me asking me to spread her gofundme campaign to help her raise money to get her family out of rafah.

amal is 26 years old with a husband and a 1-year-old daughter. she was working towards her masters in french but since october 2023 they’ve been displaced from their home and have been living in a tent for the past several months. she has told me that there is news circulating in gaza that the border will be opening by the end of this month and she needs to reach her goal by then to get her family out.
