I believe he’s 13-14 here, when he was learning the piano (don’t quote me on this but I read somewhere he tried learning piano when he was 13 but gave up to take on the clarinet instead)

and of course 1994; I read that he was meant to come into Rammstein as their producer instead of their rhythm guitarist, due to the fact he produced for a lot of bands back in the day

he also played the drums in a band or two

he’s just very skilled and determined in so many aspects of music that it really is impressive, and his passion makes me happy.

I totally just used this as an excuse to gush about Paul, sorry not sorry♡

I'm very proud of this story, and it was very hard, so now that it is complete I wanted to do a master post.

A few minutes more and they wouldn’t have even been on the ship. The Mako was scheduled and ready for drop, both of them suited up and ready with the final checklist completed. A few minutes more, and they would have watched the Normandy burn from the surface of Alchera. But they didn’t get those minutes.

Fugue covers Alchera and the two-year gap before Lazarus. It is a story about grief, survival, healing, and hope. It is about dragging yourself out the pit with your bare hands and rebuilding yourself into something new, not because you want to, but because you have to. It's about leaning on the people you love, and finding strength in your weaknesses.

There is also a cadre of queer grandparents, badassery, Cool Science, guest stars you will recognize, some familiar missions bent into new shapes, and a lot of hating on the Hammerhead. Oh, and the Can.

It was a difficult story to write, and is a difficult story to read, but I think it is rewarding. Because in the end, it is truly a story about hope. Thank you to everyone who supported me through it, and if you don't know this story, I hope you'll give it a try if it strikes your interest.

A little bit of touching of the hands, hidden behind their guitars, before leaning in playing brow against brow.

..or when passing eachother on stage..

..eventually working up to Richard actually grabbing Paul's hand in mid air..looking at Paul's smile, he hadn't expected it, but certainly doesn't mind..

..not just that Paul dances up to Richard, but he's careful not to startle him by grabbing immediately (cold hands?), but first touches, letting him know he's there, then unfolding his hand on Richard's tummy..

..the tummy attraction is not a one time thing, Paul casually letting his hand linger..

..it's not a one way street, in return Richard slips his hands around Paul's waist, having a moment between songs on stage.. (the ease with which this happens shows it's not the first time..)

..having fun during an interview, this laugh is not for the camera, this is them being themselves and a camera happens to be on..

..when the music is too loud to talk, holding guitars is limiting their physical possibilities, there are always options.. (still think it's cute Paul put this on his IG story)..

..okay, one little kiss then, but also a comforting hug when one is needed...💕

While watching The Fellowship Of The Ring yesterday I - for the first time in like two hundred reruns - noticed that Bilbo drew a sketch of Thorin's Harp into his There And Back Again.

It seems he sketched and drew merely important bits like the Shire Map or some signature weapons of the Company ..

So .. he watched and listened to Thorin sing and play his harp and deemed it important enough to draw it into his book of the Quest.

I'm sobbing in a corner since then ..

Reesh being like "I dare you to comment on how beautiful this cake is" 🤣
