I had the heartbreaking revelation that Hizashi can blame himself for... all the hero deaths in the war arc.

Previously, I thought that Hizashi could realistically blame himself for what happened to Aizawa (himself being the reason Aizawa was there in the first place) and Midnight (being away at the police station instead of fighting) but he can blame himself for ALL the hero deaths.

Hear me out. He was in the front lines to destroy the incubation chamber for Shigaraki. That was his one job. He did break the chamber, yes, but Tomura still got up. The moment he broke the incubation chamber was also the moment the doctor went to wake him up. IT IS POSSIBLE THAT HIZASHI JUST WASN'T FAST ENOUGH and it isn't hard to believe that.

The main cause of death in the arc was Shigaraki's decay, because he woke up. Hizashi failed.

Now imagine, Hizashi replaying that day over and over and over again while waiting for Aizawa to wake up. Imagine him remembering that split moment and everything comes crumbling. He failed everyone.

He. Wasn't. Enough.

And so many more people were hurt and... he's sitting there...

Unharmed and perfectly fine.

also for your consideration: it’s Eri that ends up outing Shouta & Hizashi as a couple because the teachers are sitting around the next morning having breakfast in the common space & Nemuri asks how Eri slept. Eri admitting to the nightmare & to going to Mr. Aizawa. (A collective awww) “Mr. Mic was there too; he said I was very smart to go to the pros. 💖” ... (A collective coffee sip)

when u guys keep saying that we need to make mic shorter I keep on imagining a height comparison like this btw. With the troll doll

when i first learned that mic drives a ford mustang, i thought to myself “of course he does”, it felt like such an extra / fancy choice 

but after seeing what yagi & best jeanist drive, i became very curious

i guess this could be hori’s way of showing the hierarchy in the world of heroes, since all might’s and best jeanist’s cars look like they’d probably cost a lot more (and mic’s car isn’t a cheap one either!), which is very interesting, but also, i’d say that mic’s choice is kinda far from practical. given that bnha is set in the future, yamada’s car would be at least a hundred years old, or of course it could be a replica. but if it’s not and is indeed an original 1966 ford mustang shelby, i would imagine that it requires a lot of maintenance / care. it’s so interesting, because mic doesn’t strike me as a very orderly / careful kind of person, but i can easily imagine him having very strict rules when it comes to his car. like, imagine somebody slams the door a bit too hard and immediately gets yelled at lol

also this isn’t some random choice of car. i feel like a person who isn’t very interested or invested in cars would just go for something new-ish and popular, but this???? this seems like a very specific choice by someone who researched the topic. also interesting how unlike yagi or best jeanist’s cars, mic’s car is very much based on a real-life prototype. my question is, why did hori specifically go for this car? why ford? what if anything i’m probably reading waaayyy too much into this someone stop me does this say about mic as a character? was ford chosen to somehow hint at his connection to the US, or at the very least his interest in the US? i’m genuinely very curious

but one thing i know with absolute certainty is that it would be red. like, look at it. it’s so pretty

AHHH THANK YOU. I think too hard about their interactions cause Mic DESERVES- HE DESERVES IT. Hes such a good friend its insane. Like theres this detail when they're escaping Decay. Aizawa, on Ryukyu's back, can be seen looking at Mic to make sure he's okay. And- bitch- HORIKOSHI DIDN'T HAVE TO BUT HE D I D
