NOT ONLY is the writing of this fanfic SPECTACULARLY SOUNDLY WRITTEN it also DESTROYED MY WHOLE BEING AND SOUL (in a good way!) I cried and wept with Donnie on such a personal level and I made the mistake of reading this at work (it was a slow day so not many customers) but I was trying so hard not to cry as I kept reading this wonderful piece of literature.
I'm still screaming on the inside. Screaming for Donnie and his brothers and I just—I JUST!!! AAAGGHH I want to hold them all and never let go and OH MY SOUL!! If you haven't read this I strongly suggest it. It's such a wonderful Rottmnt fanfic and it's just written so eloquently and beautifully. There are a lot of "OC Questions" blogs, and in my opinion there can never be too many of those, but I wanted mine to be a little different. This one will have character questions, but it will also have writing prompts, writing challenges and creativity exercises that I hope will help people get the proverbial creative juices flowing. I may also reblog writing tips or memes from time to time.
While the content of this blog will be aimed mainly at writers, many of the things may also be used by artists, animators and other creators. Everyone is free to use and share it.
You can answer the questions or do something with the prompts on your own, you can reblog and share them, or you can tag your friends and followers to do them with you. Use this content in whichever way feels most comfortable for you!

Someone named Jack Latiao/Xu Zhihui, has been stealing and torturing cats for fun. He has even influenced a worldwide online cult dedicated to it. They disguise themselves as 'Cat Lovers' and share videos on their cat abuse websites, as well as in public and private groups on various social media platforms in China. Jack Latiao is trying to come to America to seek political Asylum and threatened his life because of online violence and intimidation in China. Indonesia is quite an interesting country! It is known for one of their islands; Bali, and their vast number of languages. Fun fact! Indonesia is the country with the most islands and probably the country with the most languages that belong to them. There are a lot of islands, a lot of cultures that reside with the islands in the country, like Javanese and Balinese. But there is one language that is used by everyone there is Bahasa Indonesia. Their capital is Jakarta which isn’t as known as Bali but is still the capital of Indonesia.
Another thing that Indonesia is known for is their religions! It’s actually not permitted to NOT have a religion and that you must pick a religion out of 6 religions: Hindu, Kong Fu Cu, Islam, Buddha, Christian, and Catholic. Afterall, Indonesia is a secular democratic country that has a Muslim-majority population. The Indonesian constitution guarantees all people in Indonesia the freedom of worship, each according to his or her own religion or belief. It also stipulates that the state shall be based upon the belief in "the one and only God" (a condition which also forms the first principle of the Pancasila, the Indonesian state philosophy introduced by Soekarno in 1945).
Indonesia is always open to thousands of things! But there are some things that aren’t allowed and aren’t legalized by its government. Not only that, but religions in Indonesia have conflict despite having a lot of religious freedom. And although some religions are fighting over doctrinal differences, most conflict stems from more secular causes- a desire for political power, a struggle for resources, ethnic rivalries, and economic competition.

Here’s a few of the conflicts that have been going on in Indonesia:
The conflict in the Malaccas, where, according to Indonesian Red Cross data, over 500,000 people have been displaced and over 4,000 people have died in Christian-Muslim combat over the previous two years. Even if it is undoubtedly the greatest of the problems we are currently experiencing, it would be inaccurate to attribute it to a long-standing religious disagreement. The underlying causes of it are actually numerous historical, political, and economic ones.
Although West Kalimantan is currently quiescent, hundreds of people were murdered in a new outbreak that occurred in 1999. Furthermore, there was a prior incident in 1997 that resulted in numerous fatalities and involved native Dayaks and some native Malays fighting the Madurese immigrant group. The topic of migrants against indigenous people is a recurring motif in conflicts within Indonesian communities.
There is a conflict going on in Poso in Sulawesi. Again the worst episode was this past spring when there were about 300 people killed. Again there was Christian-Muslim fighting but this conflict was based more on local elites struggling over power that ended up in communal conflict.
Community conflicts occasionally break out in Couchon Pandang in West and East Java, Kupang in West Timor, Lombok in Eastern Bali, and other places where the conditions are right. Of course, the ethnic Chinese are also a constant target whenever societal turmoil occurs.
Of course, there is a way to resolve all of these problems. It won’t be easy, neither will it be quick to resolve. But with time, it can be done. There are few solutions that I know of to overcome religious conflict and receive religious harmony:
Followers of different religions should exercise moderation and tolerance towards each other and their beliefs, and not instigate religious enmity or hatred.
Religion and politics should be kept separate.
Overall, we should learn how to tolerate and respect other religions. Considering they are all in the same country, with Bhineka Tunggal Ika has their meaning for unity in all religions. I do hope for the best outcome of any religious conflict in Indonesia. The people and its scenery is truly a beauty.

I'm not indigenous so you can dismiss this as being overstepping if you want and you'd have every right to as a native person. I was thinking of maybe sending this on anon but anon messages are far easier to be construed as bad faith (I want to stress I'm not sending you this ask to dunk on you or ague with you or something) and also I think it's best to be honest so I'm doing this off anon.
I'll admit I was personally kind of uncomfortable at your Koryak Russia headcanon when I saw it, particularly because of the history regarding the Russian colonisation of Siberia, and especially because you chose the Koryaks in particular. However I am not indigenous so of course my opinion is definitely not one which should be amplified. I just want to give some context on Siberia/the Koryaks which might help explain further why the Koryak anon was upset.
Unlike the USA, Russia was an already established country when it undertook its colonisation of the far East. The indigenous Siberians were never originally "Russian" and had very little to no contact with Russians before the Russians invaded, and, again, Russia was an already established country at that point. The formation of Russia as a nation had nothing to do with engaging with Siberian indigenous, however Russia as we know it today with its huge landmass is a result of the later Russian colonisation of Siberia (Tsardom of Russia established 1547, Russia began its invasion of Siberia in 1580).
I didn't want to say anything because well I'm not a Koryak nor am I am indigenous Siberian nor am I indigenous at all however seeing as a Koryak spoke out, I just wanted to give a little more context of Russia's treatment of Siberian indigenous and Koryaks in particular. Again, I'm not sending this ask to shout at you, I just wanted to give further context.
Russia, as the previous Koryak anon pointed out, has been disproportionately mobilising indigenous Siberians, hence why the "Free Buryatia Foundation" was founded in an attempt to combat this, I've made some posts on this myself, including the recent Russian crack down on Siberian activists in which they've sentenced the leader of Free Buryatia to 7 years in prison.
Indigenous Siberian soldiers in Ukraine have also been frequently scapegoated for Russian war crimes committed in Ukraine, including by the Pope himself,

To give some further context on Russia's treatment of the Koryaks in particular, not the full history but:
In the 1930s Koryak children were sent to boarding schools, where they were expected to adopt new ideas, including anti-religious views and criticisms towards their own traditions. This led to the loss of their natural way of life and traditions, with many Koryak settlements forcibly disbanded. In 1954, the teaching of the Koryak language was banned - this lasted for 2 decades. Affluent herders and shamans were executed during Stalins reign.
I can only find one source which says this so take it with a grain of salt , but nuclear testing. Apparently nuclear tests in the 1950s and 1960s caused severe problems for the Koryaks. Radioactive contamination harmed their immune system. Reindeer-herders' bones contain significantly more lead and caesium, resulting in a surge in diseases. Again, I could only find 1 source for this which is why I said "apparently" however regardless of if this factoid in particular is true or false doesn't necessarily take away from Russia's overall mistreatment of them.
On the Koryak infant mortality rate: "Infant mortality is also very high..The highest rates recorded in official statistics are among the Koryak, at 52.6 per 1000" (Peoples of the Arctic: Characteristics of Human Populations Relevant to Pollution Issues)
The average Koryak lifespan at one point was less than 50 years and iirc it's still quite low.
When it comes to their fishing:
"In September 2014, the parliamentary assembly of Kamchatka Krai introduced a bill aimed at reconsidering the management of those territories that have been traditionally used by indigenous peoples. The bill set out a proposal to considerably reduce their area and to prevent indigenous peoples from cultivating the land in the south of the Kamchatka Krai region – a move that deprives many of the ability to maintain traditional livelihoods such as fishing."

I'm not trying to point a finger at you because I'm sure you did not have any bad intentions with your post especially because you yourself are native and I'm not so I would be seriously overstepping, and of course it's always amazing to see more indigenous rep and I myself have my own Siberian ocs, but I just wanted to try and give some further context as to why perhaps the Koryak anon was upset at your depiction, however again I'm not indigenous so my opinion on the matter holds a hell of a lot of less weight. You don't have to feel obligated to post this, I know it's a heavy subject, and again I'm not indigenous/native so you could just dismiss this all if you wish. I mentioned my intentions in the anon's ask because I wanted them to know my making Russia Koryaki was not to erase these humanitarian injustices, but to see a character I adore as indigenous. No matter my intentions, I should have known better than to connect an oppressed native culture that I have no connection to, to the literal embodiment of its invader.
Your message is important to me and because you used multiple sources, I do want to share it as it is a great way for more people outside of Russia to know about the plight of Koryak people. To the anon, I altruistically apologize for my depictions.
hi, I’m Koryak, i was adopted from Russia and i would really appreciate it if you didn’t make russia koryak. the russians have done so much harm to my nation and people, killing us and taking our land and banning us from fishing and hunting in our home. with the recent war, indigenous siberians been disproportionately targeted and the govt has cracked down even harder when we try to speak out. i do not want to see my colonizer claim the same culture it has tried to take away from my family.

I wholeheartedly apologize if my depiction of a Koryak Russia was insulting. My intention in depicting Russia as Koryak came from a want to see more indigenous faces in my favorite characters, and I did not think of the implications that came with it. What Koryak people and Siberian natives have gone through is not to be taken lightly and I do not want to bastardize these true and real traumas in any way.
I will not make him native moving forward as I vehemently agree it is incorrect.
I Have PMDD/PME
It is PMDD Awareness Month. I’ve pledged to do what I can to spread awareness because I, myself, suffer from it and wish I had known sooner.
My symptoms drastically worsened a year after I had my daughter, Luna.
It was my husband, Tim, who brought this disorder to my attention. He believed me, did not dismiss me, and took the time to research on my behalf during a time that I felt hopeless and incapable of doing normal daily activities. Knowing about PMDD has changed my life for the better. I’m still struggling, but with therapy and medication, I finally feel like I have a piece of my old self back.
PMDD stands for Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder. And those with underlying mental health issues, may suffer from PME (Pre-menstrual Exacerbation).
All through my menstruating years, I was told that my PMS symptoms were normal. This meant that my symptoms were swept under the rug and dismissed by others and myself.
PMDD is NOT PMS.
PMDD is NOT a hormone imbalance.
PMDD IS “a cyclical, hormone-based mood disorder with symptoms arising during the premenstrual, or luteal phase of the menstrual cycle... It affects an estimated 5.5% of women and AFAB individuals of reproductive age.
PMDD IS a severe negative reaction in the brain to the natural rise and fall of estrogen and progesterone. It is a suspected cellular disorder in the brain. Symptoms can worsen over time and or around reproductive events such as menarche (the first menstrual cycle), pregnancy, birth, miscarriage, and perimenopause.

I can’t stress enough how important it is. Someone you love right now could be in such a state of hopelessness and ready to do whatever it takes to end it.
The next time you think your daughter or your wife or your sister or a friend is being “over emotional, overdramatic, ‘just’ PMSing,” please think twice and check in with them. Really check in with them, because what you see on the surface is nothing compared to what that person is suffering within.
