Rooftop Agency AU

Pro-Hero Loud Cloud, Present Mic and Midnight agency, what more can I say? After graduating they instantly worked together to make their dreams a reality. The Rooftop Agency specializes in emergency, fight and protect, rescue in city conditions. The media is kinda confused why they call themselves the Rooftop Agency, it makes sense with Midnight (sky/ night) and Oboro (clouds) but Mic? (ITS CAUSE HES THE SUN BAYBEE- BEAMING SMILE). They also don't quite understand how they work together so well, because of their random grouping of quirks but they get the job done! They all become UA teachers in their late 20s. Midnight and Oboro are dating, as they should and as they deserved t f. Mic is kinda always the 3rd wheel :,) but they're close as close can be!

Loud Cloud: Just like how he was in Vigilantes! Always willing to help. His crude sense of humor only increased with age and with the influence of Midnight. He's got facial hair too, you cant tell me otherwise. Quirk enhance: Can now change the weather of the clouds: snow, rain, hail, thunder! He's there for transportation, cover and close range combat. HUGE simp for Midnight. Lowkey HIGHKEY jealous at all the attention she gets from other dudes >:I yes he does get distracted watching Midnight fight, what about it?

Midnight: Take canon Midnight but add the power of complete control over one man. At first, she was ganged up on by Hizashi and Oboro to do the paperwork but you- you can't- she's terrifying. They split the work evenly now. She loves the airheads to bits. Support and midrange fighter, still uses her whip. She has to be careful to not knock out the other two USHOUH

Present Mic: Same loud personality BUT 3rd wheel extrodinare! Midnight and Oboro are nice and try to include him but he turns most of them down. Alone a lot more because of this. During this alone time he does either one of the following: just walk (he doesn't know where he's going but he's going there), go to a cat cafe, picking up a new hobby, training, screaming in his soundproof room or at his radio show (which feels more like a podcast). He's long-range combat/ alert system (screaming into the air instructions for those in danger to follow, y'know?)

If this gets enough interest, I'll make more on it!

okay, to summarize where my theory is at regarding Kurogiri’s mess of quirks:

1. his original quirk was sent into overdrive by massive amounts of Trigger, which is (at the very least partially) the reason why his body changed permanently. his quirk is just covering all of him now. he is his quirk, because that’s all that AfO needed from him. and that’s why it has similar properties to a mutant quirk in regards to the lack of effect from Erasure - it can cancel out his portals, but it doesn’t change his body 2. he seems to have lost the ability to make completely solid clouds, or clouds at all, but the way he builds his portals is based on that 3. his head and neck where the brace sits is the body part he can actively emit the mist and portals from. it’s the only part that needs to be physically present to do so, and the brace serves to protect this one vulnerable spot (basically his Achilles Heel) 4. when in full fight mode, where only the brace seems to be tangible, he might be using a warp portal directly at the base of his neck to keep the rest of his body in a safe place while he fights. this should also allow him for better mobility since he can freely move the portal around to wherever he needs his head to be

I've unfortunately had another thought, and I'm making it OUR problem. Continuation kinda linked with THIS and inspired by THIS

I believe that after the fight, Hizashi gave himself sloppy first aid and got changed in UA. Toshinori is going to come with him to hospital. After reassuring Eri that Aizawa and Midorya will be okay, they leave in silence.

When approaching the hospital, they hadn't anticipated the media to be there this quickly. Because they didn't anticipate this, they were instantly bombarded. Hizashi moreso, as he is a working pro. The media start shoving their cameras into his face. He doesn't react, head low, eyes hidden, silent. Not even trying to pretend like everything's fine, trying to shove past them. He never liked the media in the first place so he pays them no attention.

UNTIL.

"Where you even at the fight?"

They were mocking him... They were mocking him.

His head snaps to the reporter. There is cold, hard, fury in his eyes. The rest of his face is expressionless. He's tense. He's ready to use his quirk on these vultures but Yagi puts his hand on his shoulder, telling Hizashi to keep walking. He bites his tongue to shut up. He can taste blood.

Though they gave no verbal answer The media runs with that expression, jumping to conclusions and grasping straws until- The top headline the next day?

HC: Mic takes every student with a verbal activated/ sound/ lung quirk under his wing

His ARMY

Jiro: Mic takes the most interest with her due to her ability to cancel him out. Some respect earned there. Helps her with support gear (HAGE), building resistance and balancing her passions with hero work. They 100% have sound battles. Very sassy mentor - student vibe going on, where they both still make fun of each other. I SAID she interns with him during her 2nd year.

Koda: After the finals arc he apologizes profusely- like whispering (still uncomfortable talking) but Mic responds in sign! They repair the damage starting from there. Mic helps build his confidence and voice. Is very patient when he goes non-verbal. Both hate bugs.

Shinso: When Aizawa is busy with Eri or his problem children, Mic trains Shinso's voice. Making it louder without damaging his throat and such. ALSO! Vocal lessons. It helps to have a hero know how hard it is to mimic voices.

More on Shinso (a stupid HC really) Mic helps him change his voice faster. Friday Night Funkin style - Like a fun game between them where Mic starts off with 4 notes/ voices, makes a song of sorts which Shinso has to memorize and repeat back to him. Mic then gets faster, more complex, holding voices here and there.

SHOJI. Its not that Shoji can weaponize his voice- again its with safely amplifying his voice which would would a lot in rescue situations. They probably have a hella complex handshake thing going on.

Manga Fukidashi: With Mics frequency changes- he can also mimic sounds. He helps Manga understand these sounds better and how to create them so that he can also mimic them, giving his quirk more onomatopoeia characteristics. Also- throat damage again. Mic gives tips on that as his quirk can also irritate his throat when overused.

Kosei Tsuburaba: LiSTEN- Helping increase his lung capacity. Mics lungs are fucking crazy, and the time he can hold a single note is insane. That's helped by both his quirk and the breathing excersizes Mic does. He recommends these to Tsuburaba and runs him through several of them. It helps strengthen Tsuburaba's solid air and allows him to make more air solid in a single breath. I also think Mic would be the perfect person to test "Air Prison" against as it is sound proof.
