Posting cringe at 3AM (NOT CLICKBAIT)
ok but like, has anyone else noticed that in the beginning of BP:WF, Shuri’s wardrobe is mostly white and at the end of the movie she’s wearing black???
In traditional African culture, white is the color used to symbolize death and grief for funerals
and then, at the very end of the film when everything is over, Shuri is wearing black while burning the funeral clothes.
I think it’s really cool how ever detail in this movie symbolizes Shuri’s grief and development as a character, and the clothes show that. Big fuckin props to Ruth E. Carter
my boys who i love very dearly, yep yep
I redesigned Cami (and am also trying to improve my artstyle)

This way people can see they’re not alone. I have them and this would help me see that.
Woah! It's been a hot minute since I've drawn a marvel character lol Today's prompt was funny bird and my immediate thought was Khonshu
(ID: An illustration, Khonshu stands leaning with his arms crossed, below him Moon knight couches on his knees clutching his head, it is colored white with yellow high lights and blue shading -ID End)
I’m giggling at the thought of Shuri having zoomies
Griot: My queen, please calm down-
