SO THANKS TO MY DEAR FRIEND @dolly-royal WHO FOUND SOME INFORMATION ABOUT CANON LORE FORM ANDREW HIMSELF IN THE HP SERVER THE THEORY ME AND @sarilolla HAD, ABOUT THE PUPPETS BEING SIMILAR TO PARASITES/SYMBIOTIC CRETAURES BUT FORCED TO BE PARASITOIDS, PROVED TO BE (mostly) CORRECT!!! OH GOD I DON'T KNOW WHY THIS MAKES ME SO HAPPY!!!

Oh and here is the theory (and low-key an au idea-)

Soo to make it short:

The puppets in our theory are symbiotic creatures/(semi-) parasites but where forced by mortimer to become parasitioids.

I keep seeing people making fun of using growled, hissed, roared, snarled etc in writing and it’s like.

have you never heard someone speak with the gravel in their voice when they get angry? Because that’s what a growl is.

Have you never heard someone sharply whisper something through the thin space of their teeth? Or when your mother sharply told you to stop it in public as a kid when you were acting up/being too loud? Because that’s what a hiss is.

Have you never heard a man get so blackout angry that their voice BOOMS through the house? Because that’s what a roar is.

Have you never seen someone bare their teeth while talking to accentuate their frustration or anger while speaking with a vicious tone? Because that’s what snarling is.

It’s not meant to be a literal animal noise. For the love of god, not every description is literal. I get some people are genuinely confused, but also some of these people are genuinely unimaginative as fuck.

An random on thought to chew on, but I remember the silly asks I would get to try and figure out who sent them-while unfortunate it on my old blog (that got accidentally deleted) I am still hunting for the tumblr blog that sent them lol

I have come up with a better metaphor than “you can’t pour from an empty cup” for burnout. You can’t boil an empty kettle. Pouring from an empty cup just gets you nowhere. Trying to boil an empty kettle can ruin the kettle, the stove, and burn down your house if you keep trying it.

There is something to be said about the fact that Luke did end up replacing P03 at the end when the Scrybes enlist his help and treat him as an equal in the face of being deleted.

There is something to be said about the fact that Grimora, Scrybe of the Dead who celebrates the death of each card, asks you to spare her in Act 2 and yet she’s the one that enables their demise.

There is something to be said about the fact that Leshy locked the Scrybes away yet still considered the forms they took - the stink bug for the woman who reeks of death, a wolf for the man who looks like a living forest, and the lowly stoat for the Scrybe that hates him more than anything - and claims that being a beast is a noble thing.

There is something to be said about the fact that Magnificus treats his pupils terribly and yet still goes to shake Luke’s hand at the end of it all, missing the opportunity because of his own failings.

There is something to be said about the fact that P03 uses the word “beast” as an insult, proclaims loudly that he will not be Leshy’s stoat anymore, and yet the last time we see him, on Luke’s computer after surviving deletion, is the face of a stoat.
