He's literally me
ritsu is so funny to me. he says shit like "I'm a completely normal middle schooler, I'm the utmost case of plain and simple" which is clearly something normal people say. he keeps a spoon in his pencil cup. and in his pocket. he got up in the middle of the night and did weird poses around the sink to try to make water float. he's a rude and judgy bitch but only in his head. when asked if he has friends, he responded with "I talk about the weather with pretty much anyone, so don't worry about me." he canonically doesn't listen to music. his brother thinks of him as his calm and collected little brother who always knows what to do, when in reality he's the most neurotic kid on the planet. he saw teru wearing a giant wig and thought "wow his brain must be so big." when he and shou first met, they beat the shit out of each other until he was knocked unconscious, and then when they met the second time, it was when shou came to his house unannounced and was like "hey do you want to help me kill my dad" and ritsu was like "okay. btw I think we have similar family trauma." he tried to zap a bug with psychic powers and then screamed for his brother's help when he couldn't get it. he used to cry as a child about spoons. his first instinct when seeing a spirit for the first time was to slam it repeatedly into his knee. he is the thirteen year old of all time.
now that aromantic awareness week is over it’s time for aromantic unawareness week BRING OUT REIGEN ARATAKA
RJSHASERBHJSFGZDFG
this part was so beautifully done... mob finally offering to HIMSELF the same level of compassion and empathy that he's shown to every antagonist in the series
i’m sure someone could explain it better than me but mob psycho and undertale are so similar in so many ways. not just as a funny sans vs reigen joke but they have so much in common. they’re both deconstructions of their genres. they focus on peace and not hurting others. they both redeem most if not all of their villains. several adults have their lives changed by a single child’s kindness. autism. but they don’t just follow similar story beats they really feel like similar stories to me. just the way that they’re told, how they use humor to make the emotional parts hit harder, idk i just really like them both a lot
LITERALLY THE PERFECT EXAMPLE REAL
black cat and golden retriever trope is cute but overused it's time for black dog and orange tabby to be a thing. for example:
some things aren't even headcanons they're just divine visions and u have no choice but to accept them
More Detective doodles this time featuring my Friend's oc (Doc belongs to @wormspoodle ) Also two doodles of Cedar when he was young pfft I like to imagine he was a young History Teacher before he became a detective, especially since both involve gathering detailed information on someone else's life by gathering first hand accounts and other sources hehe. I also think it would be funny if he got recruited via a podcast he had as a hobby, just imagine him going over cases both cold and ongoing carefully combing through clues and cross referencing every lead until he gets to the end stating who he thinks is guilty or what he thinks really happened just to close off with a bit about it just being speculation on his part haha (and "please don't sue me for defamation") that sort of thing pfft
Also random tidbit I decided to give him was entomophobia because of a past experience with a case teehee
I'll talk more about his relationship with other characters such as the Doctor in later posts if you want to draw your own wordgirl oc interacting with him feel free (I will lose my mind if you do pfft/pos)
In case anyone wondered my opinion on AI art
