I’m either Southern Water tribe or the Earth Kingdom depending if I use the short or full version of my name. I’m a nonbender (figures -_-) and my occupation is a swordsman.
I know this is slightly complex, but it’s worth it! Like the Pokemon one I made before, I tried to make this one as accurate as possible as well. While the birthdays thing isn’t 100% canon, it has been said that most benders are born within their element’s corresponding seasons. So, Water=Winter, Earth=Spring, Fire=Summer, Air=Fall. And it’s said that all children born into the air nomads become benders since they’re raised so spiritually! :) As for the special dates within the months, they’re the winter/summer solstices and spring/fall equinoxes, which have held significance within the Avatar-verse in the past, so I figured they’d be fun to include to give people the opportunity to be a different kind of bender than their homeland.
Most people will likely be nonbenders, since it’s typically more common. So, I tried to make things as interesting and diverse as possible with the nonbender skills/occupations.
Hope you enjoy! If you reblog, tell us who your character would be. :D
I love that the first episode ("Bob Actually") Flips White Fudge appears in is the episode Bob tries to learn to dance to give Linda a good Valentine's day gift. In the second episode ("So You Stink You Can Dance") he appears in is him basically giving commentary on Jimmy Jr's experience with Tina and Zeke.
Flips White Fudge assumed that he bonded with Zeke and Tina so much that he tried to insert himself into Tina and Zeke's hypothetical brunch (which Flips, buddy I know you mean well but you're an under 30-year-old guy trying to hang out with 2 teenagers. It raises some red flags my dude. Though part of me wishes the brunch really happened because that would have been the closest thing Zeke and Tina would have had to a date in canon. That's just me grasping though. XD).
Anyway, my point of this post is my headcanon is that history will repeat itself and in the distant future, Zeke will take some dancing lessons from Flips White Fudge like Bob did. XD
It’s on April 2nd 3pm eastern time
23. (Things you said during the wedding) + Zekina please (it doesn't have to be their wedding if you don't want to)
zekina + things you said during the wedding!
“Tina girl?”
Tina’s shoulders relax at the sound of her boyf-husband’s voice. When she whips around to face him, he grins. After four years together, Zeke still smiles the same goofy smile whenever he looks at her.
“Zeke, hi!”
She flies into his arms, suddenly aware of how badly she needs a hug from him. He returns her embrace automatically, no questions asked, his hands coming to sit on her waist.
“Hey there, beautiful. Who’s the lucky guy who gets to marry you today?”
Though Tina rolls her eyes, Zeke’s corny flirtations are always a comfort. It’s good to know they won’t stop now that they’re married.
“You are.” She deadpans. “You already did, actually.”
He rubs a circle on her lower back, like he knows she’s a little overwhelmed without her having to voice it herself. As much as Tina has dreamed about her special day, she isn’t used to being the center of attention. It’s surprisingly stressful.
“I remember.” Zeke says. “I saw you sneakin’ off in the middle of the reception, and I was afraid I might have a runaway bride situation on my hands. Everything alright?”
Tina nods emphatically. In spite of all the chaos, her wedding day has exceeded her wildest expectations. It’s different—more imperfections and fewer zombies—but she loves it all the same.
“Everything’s great. I just…”
Zeke kisses her temple.
“It’s a lotta eyes on you, ain’t it?” He says sagely. “I getcha. Well, why don’t we just take a little break from the party? When you feel better, then we’ll go get our dance on!”
Tina sighs. Apparently, she’s been unknowingly waiting on permission to shirk her duties as the bride. After all, there's only so much chit-chat a girl can make with distant relatives, before she exhausts herself.
All she needs are a few moments to recharge, and then she’ll be Wedding Day Tina again. The best, most radiant version of herself. When she kisses her new husband, she feels more in love than ever before.
“That’s a great idea, Zeke.” She says. “Is it too soon to renew our vows?”
I recently got into Bob's Burgers and felt like drawing the Belcher Kids, Jimmy Jr., and Zeke as adults (9 years later). I do need some help with design suggestions though. I see Zeke as a tattoo around both upper arms guy (and maybe some in the back) but I'm stumped on ideas. As a ZekexTina shipper the only idea I have is one of his upper arms having one gardenia with weeds wrapping around the upper arm. I don't want Zeke's tattoos to only be about my preferred ship. So any suggestions for Zeke's tattoos will be appreciated. Now onto my headcanons.
Tina - Online (very) graphic novel artist. She makes her money off of making trashy romance novels but her true passion is her webcomic because it's not tied down by any editors and she can create it how she pleases.
Gene - Social media influencer. He started out with Linda trying to help his family advertise Bob's Burgers on the web. He transitioned by making money off of his Youtube channel (or whatever you call it in the Bob's Burgers universe) by doing whatever creative thing he thinks of such as wacky covers of popular songs or food reviews. His channel is whatever he wants it to be and you never know what he plans to do next.
Louise - At 18 she hasn't matured enough to take over her dad's restaurant. She mostly finds a way to cause chaos while still somehow keeping her job on the wharf. Once she grows a bit more, she decides she still wants to run the family business as she did when she was nine.
Jimmy Jr. - Tried to make it in the dancing industry only to see how corrupt it actually was and didn't want any of that. He teaches dancing instead and tries to be the parent figure his father never was.
Zeke - After getting rejected from joining the military (probably from ADHD but you decide), he finds himself going back to train under Bob Belcher to become a chef because Bob was one of the only people that didn't make him feel like a screw-up and he loved how much he felt at home in the Belcher family. He also does self-defense classes as well that Jimmy Jr. and Louise sometimes volunteer to help out (not that much of Louise though because she makes the environment too chaotic and nothing ever gets done)
I hope I'm not part of the problem because I like to consider myself somewhere in between. I see your point and I agree but that's not going to stop me from being annoyed seeing Jimmy Junior treat Tina not that great. Heck, in "Burger War", an episode after he kissed Tina on her birthday he didn't even remember her name. They have been restaurant neighbors for how many years before the kiss and he doesn't have her name in his memory?! Credit where credit is due, he has shown there is hope for him. In "Bad Tina" he wasn't completely turned off by the idea of being the main love interest in Tina's "Buttloose" story which is nice because she really needed a win after the embarrassment she subjected herself to. In "Every Which Way but Goose" he helped save Bruce the Goose when the bird was stuck by a friendship bracelet caught in a nail when he didn't have to and while he had a sore butt. I know I wouldn't go anywhere near a goose, those are vicious, f u birds.
He went out of his way to give Tina a rose when he had no idea how to purchase a carnation from Tina during the "Gene and Courtney Show" episode.
He sold his bike in "Gene it On" just so he could take Tina on a date "she" (Louise) wanted to go on.
I'm not counting the Sky Kiss from "Bob Actually" because it's hard to tell if it was selfless or not. It seems he wanted to do it more for the cool factor (especially since he implied he wanted Tina to wear a different outfit earlier in the episode in a passive way. Not the best look for him but it's not "spawn of satan" worthy obviously, just kind of mild jerky. To be fair, Tina is always wearing a skirt so maybe he wanted her in pants for the sky kiss for her sake but we'll never know what he meant by that.) In the Bob's Burgers movie he (allegedly! Like with death in fiction, if they didn't show it, it didn't happen./hj XD) found Tina's barretecklace not knowing what it was but knew it looked like something she usually wore and decided to give it to her. That was enough for Tina to see romance wasn't dead and she was okay with the romance real Jimmy Jr. could do even if it may not be like fantasy Jimmy Jr. That's all the selfless acts that I remember him doing for Tina and only for her that didn't benefit him in anyway (aside from more kisses from Tina). Feel free to add any other selfless acts Jimmy Jr has done in the past that didn't benefit him in some way (aside from Tina's affection) What his major issues that I feel people have a problem with stems from 4 factors. 1. He's self absorbed 2. He can't take constructive criticism at all. 3. He's quick to bail on Tina when things get too weird, intense, or hard. 4. He is hot and cold with Tina a lot.
However, even with these flaws, he's hardly the spawn of satan because of them. In fact, in the words of Miss Labonz, I only really wanted to "punch that kid" for what he did in two episodes. 1. "Presto Tina-o" 2. "V for Valentine-detta"
The rest of the time I feel he's not that bad or was justified because Tina has her problems too. She can also be selfish, have misplaced confidence issues, can be creepy, near predatory, and not know when to tone it down with her intense emotions. However, I hate the first episode so much for how both JJ and Zeke treated Tina (though JJ is worse). Jimmy Junior wasn't taking his magic act seriously at all and it was clear he only wanted to do a magic-themed dance routine over an actual magic act. That's not bad in it of itself, but at least be upfront about just wanting to do a magician-themed dance and not an actual magic act. Tina tried to steer him to actually perform tricks in his magic show but Jimmy Junior could not even take the slightest bit of advice from her because he couldn't stand the thought of someone who had only been doing magic for a day trying to help/possibly know more than him when he was 8 days ahead. Then later he and Zeke laugh at her for being mad, low-key bullying her for showing angry emotions (at least that's how it felt for me anyway but I might be biased).
His inability to not take criticism persists even in season 13, but this was his worst showcase of it. Though, even with that, I understand why this is the case. He already feels at home that he's constantly criticized for who he is by his dad. So he refuses to listen to any criticism from his friends because it feels like a personal attack on him, even if it's with the best intentions. His friends are his safe space, so if even his friends have issues with him, no matter how minor, where else can he feel safe? The second episode, good gosh what was Jimmy Junior thinking with this one?! That's something more his dad would pull, not him! I know he's a dumb teenage boy but what he did in that episode was downright malicious (no wonder Linda later changed her mind about Jimmy Jr. from her opinion of him in season 1 and told Tina she wasn't sure about him in "One of the Boyz 4 Now" XD). Not only did he play with Tina, but he dragged Becky down with Tina as well. Good thing Tina helped a girl out in the end after JJ abruptly dumped her. Becky should be part of Tina's new friend group with Susmita and Dillon lol) Though to defend JJ, I feel the way he treated Tina was what he learned subconsciously from his dad. Even though he tells his dad he's his own person, he still falls into similar pitfalls because that's all he's been taught at home. So I feel once he realizes how much he's taking after his dad when he's older he's going to be disgusted with himself and try to be better. So in short, he's been a stinker a few times but there's still hope for him and I'm sure he'll turn out fine if we ever get a real flash-forward episode. While I can't speak for every Zekina shipper, I think part of the overabundance of hatred JJ gets stems from insecurity. While it's been confirmed on Anidom's Twitter poll Zekina is the more popular ship (at least on Twitter), there's still uncertainty to it all. Being the more popular ship doesn't do a darn thing to make it end game (just ask the Zutara shippers from the ATLA fandom). For example, LisaxNelson is the more popular ship in the Simpsons fandom but more often than not Milhouse is the one Lisa ends up with in flash-forward episodes. So even if Zekina is more popular we still very well could not be end game because the cast thinks JJxTina is funnier or is more in line with what Tina wants anyway. Why should Zeke get what he wants and not Tina after all? Why should Tina have to be the one to settle after all the work she's put in to make her fantasy a reality? So because of this possibility, some Zekina shippers might overcompensate by constantly pointing out every negative thing JJ has done and putting him down to make them feel better about their stance. Though, tearing down one ship just to build your own is never a good idea. It just shows your insecurity in your tastes when you bash a rival ship or a character in a rival ship. You don't need a ship to be canon to justify its existence. It's okay to like what you like whether it's endgame or not. If Zekina happens, great but don't pull a Ron the Death Eater on JJ to justify your ship. Jimmy Jr.'s worst crime is that he's a dumb teenage boy with a bad home life. He's not going to be the most well-adjusted, but at least he's not Tammy. He's just self-absorbed, criticism adverse, and an idiot kid that eats pistachios whole. He has a good heart deep down even if he has a lot to work on with himself like all teens do. He won't' be high in my top favorite Bob's Burgers characters but you can bet that he won't be the last either. Don't make JJ the bad guy and lose Zeke and Tina forever because he is clearly hopeless without them. XD
I love Zeke x Tina, but there's so much Jimmy Jr hate in the community. Like... guys, I get it, he can be a bit sour sometimes... but do you know why that is? He's a TEENAGE BOY, not only that, but his parents are divorced, his dad is very neglectful and puts him down, he looks down on his passion for dance and honesty just gives: "I am a toxic straight dad and when I see the slightest bit of creativity, it means pansy and you will be punished"; he's also said that he feels left out and lonely due to his little brothers being twins and being best friends. He's just a kid, a kid who likes to dance, leave him alone. In my head, in a world were Tina and Zeke end up together, Jimmy Jr would still be there, as the bff. The three of them can't be separated, are you kidding me????
Awesome! I love you for adding to the Janaldo community now! Great job!

21# day - PHANTOM PHRIDAY / Ronaldo & Jane as Phantom of the Opera & Christine
I really wanted to write down this prompt idea because this is somehow the most perfect idea and also the most frustrating in how much I have to fix it up to make it work in this idea. XD Like you think, yay restaurant this is perfect, but no actually because Tiana and Tina are vastly different personalities and I have to completely redo the path she goes along to do the things she does. So anyway, here's the cast I have so far. It's not going to be a complete list because I'm going to leave it up to anyone else who wants to do this idea. Tina - Tiana (I don't even have to change anything for her name XD) Tiana was once an idealistic young girl full of dreams of love. She dreamed of getting married to her childhood sweetheart. However, after the death of her father and getting her heart broken by her childhood sweetheart she vowed to help make her father's dream come true. She stuffs down her idealistic, hopeless romantic self deep down in order to never be hurt by a cute dancing boy again. So instead of pursuing love like her younger self would have wanted, she chose what she felt was the easier option and work hard to make "Bob's Burgers" a real restaurant in honor of the dream her father never got to see through. She feels that it would be wrong to even consider trying to find love again when her dad never got to finish his dream. Still, when she's alone, and no one's looking she still writes about the fantasies of love she wishes would be real for her as a stress reliever from all that life throws at her. She is a decent cook but she often laments about how she'll never be as good as her father was. Even so, she refuses to let his legacy die.
Zeke - Prince Zaveen Zaveen is not really a prince but a con artist that's flat-out broke. He does have an immensely wealthy inheritance coming his way but only if he gets married. His parents consider him a screw-up for never finding a talent that he could profit from. He spends his days flirting, having fun, and living his best life but all of this is to hide much of a loser he feels like and to fill the void of how lonely he actually is.
He later finds out he has a talent for cooking as a frog to the point Tiana brought is to tears because it reminds her so much of her dad's cooking. Zaveen also gets Tiana to dance again after giving it up years ago when her heart got broken. Tammy - Tottie La Bouf Tottie's a horrible, rich girl that has never heard the word "no" in her life. The only reason Tiana even associates with the girl is that Tottie's parents pay Tiana's mother to make so many of Totties dresses. Tottie tricked Tiana to kiss so many frogs in their youth because at first she couldn't be bothered to do the work of finding a frog prince herself but then she just kept tricking her into doing it just to find out how long it will take her to figure out she was being duped. Tottie causes kids to know Tiana as "frog lips" and the poor girl was never able to live it down even in her adult years. Tottie in the end would do only one unselfish thing for Tiana after years of being terrible to her. Linda - Lindora Lindora is Tiana's mother who makes all of Tottie's dresses. All she wants for Tiana is for her to be happy and live for herself. As long as Tiana is set on making her late father's dream come true the best she can do is hope that Tiana will finally let herself live for her own dreams (and maybe finally get some grandkids XD). Bob - Bob (you try to come up with a good name combination of Bob and James! LOL)
Bob is Tiana's late father. All he ever wanted was to be able to own a restaurant that sold creative burgers that made people happy. He died before he could ever see that dream come to be. He loved his family so much though that as long as he still had them he didn't care that he didn't live to see his restaurant dream come to pass.
The Fishoeder brothers - The Fishfenner brothers It just made perfect sense. I mean Calvin is a landlord so that's close enough to a real estate agent I suppose. lol Teddy - Leddy the alligator Seems like a decent enough pick. That's all the cast I can think of for this idea. I have no idea how to even include Gene and Louise in the story? I don't even know who to pick for Dr. Facilier either which is a shame. This idea all started because I thought "Never Knew I Needed" fit Zekina really well. So I thought, hey why not put the prompt idea out in the world to see if anybody digs it too. Though I did leave the story with a funny plot hole that could get called out by Tina herself that since Zaveen was never a real prince so she has no way of turning them both human again. So she has to shoehorn in an abrupt reason for it to work, oops! XD @tacosandtouchtanks
So fingers crossed someone gets inspired by this!
You mean to tell me that tonight's episode was a wrestling one and Zeke wasn't in it?! Shaking my freaking head!
How could you betray this sweet little gremlin boy like that! You know he would have loved being in this episode. We were robbed! That being said this was still fun even if they missed the perfect opportunity of including Zeke. You just know Tina was so annoyed, in a conflicting sort of way when Louise came to her room to show Tina the research she's been doing. Girl, Tina's been hyper-fixated on marine life way before you have. So you bet your bunny ears she already knows all the sea cucumber facts. Heck, she's probably shared her hyper-fixation with you plenty of times and you just now decide to be interested while she's trying to sleep, in front of her horse posters! XD
In celebration of the new season coming out in a day or two, here's the Belcher kids, Zeke, and Jimmy Jr aged up. This is part two of the headcanon thing I made a while ago. https://www.tumblr.com/qilin-crusader/690246122471636992/bobs-burgers-question-and-adult-belcher-kids-and?source=share I slightly updated my headcanon though and now feel that Louise would have made the "Broken Glass Kids" a real gang and Zeke as well as Linda are a part of her gang. Louise's gang is still small but she's working on it, she just appreciates being part of a group that appreciates the thrill of smashing glass items and burning other items. To explain Zeke's tattoos. On the left arm is a gardenia on his upper arm while the rest of his arm is wrapped up in weeds. On the right side is a harpoon stabbing a bleeding heat and the blood drips to the bottom and forms an ocean. So he has a beach arm, I was going to give him a Saucy tattoo to add on to the beach arm, but I thought it was too silly and declined it.
As for Gene, I thought it would fit him to give him a skort. All the fun of a skirt and the sex appeal of shorts. I also think it would just fit Gene's love of being a goofball that always surprises you. For Louise's hair, I combined Bob's mom's hair and the top of Bob's hair as well. I want to bring the feels of her looking a little like Bob's mom and taking after her dad with her hairstyle because she will always be a daddy's girl whether she admits it or not. Looks like Tina took Topsy's advice and pulled her hair back. I wanted to combine the vision of older Tina with longer hair as well as pulling her hair back because she looks good showing her whole face. I didn't even need Topsy to tell me that because I dug her no bangs look during the stage fright flashback when Tina didn't stop the hairdresser from cutting all of her bangs off. Tina's glasses were originally going to be blue until I saw that they were too many blue glasses-wearing characters. I changed it to yellow since her barrette would be hiding anyway. It worked out because I found out that Tina's eyes are blue so the yellow glasses will be a great contrast. I also thought a cowl neck sweater dress would fit her because I like to imagine her using the cowl neck to hide her face in shame or awkwardness. I also gave her the choker necklace because I like it too. For Jimmy Jr, I decided to give him dance shoes so he looks like he's always ready to dance. Also, I decided to give him a goatee because he would probably wear one to spite his dad and his butt chin. Anyway, hope you dig the designs. Tina's is probably my favorite. Edit 10/4/2022: I changed Zeke's facial expression and gave Tina, Gene, and Zeke some earrings. Edit 10/09/2022 I changed Zeke's designs because I started hating his pants. I gave him cargo shorts instead. I also gave Zeke's shirt very short sleeves that were inspired by @bluebirbbs design. They are very short though because I didn't want to cover his tattoos. I gave Zeke more facial hair compared to the three lines in his old design. I liked his soul patch in the season 12 finale and gave him some stubble because I thought it fit him. The biggest reason I wanted to give him shorts was because of the leg hair. I wanted to show him as a hairy guy but I couldn't do it with his arms because of the tattoos so I went with legs instead.
