I looked up biblically accurate angels & demons to get inspiration for their designs, maybe they’ll change later but for now I’m satisfied with them.

(Also, for those of you wondering; what the hell is an Arch-Demon? An Arch-Demon is similar to Arch-Angels, they patrol hell and keep the sinners in line. Basically like Hell’s police. They started forming after the treaty between heaven & hell in 1682. Demons & Angels only started mingling with each other socially (dating, friendships, business, etc) in 1985.)

Crab-Solutely Fabulous Thoughts and Spoilers

You mean to tell me that tonight's episode was a wrestling one and Zeke wasn't in it?! Shaking my freaking head!

How could you betray this sweet little gremlin boy like that! You know he would have loved being in this episode. We were robbed! That being said this was still fun even if they missed the perfect opportunity of including Zeke. You just know Tina was so annoyed, in a conflicting sort of way when Louise came to her room to show Tina the research she's been doing. Girl, Tina's been hyper-fixated on marine life way before you have. So you bet your bunny ears she already knows all the sea cucumber facts. Heck, she's probably shared her hyper-fixation with you plenty of times and you just now decide to be interested while she's trying to sleep, in front of her horse posters! XD

Just Wanted to Update My Touch Tank Idea:

I had this idea to do something with Tina as a creature from the touch tank a while ago. https://www.tumblr.com/qilin-crusader/697656683256741888/tacosandtouchtanks-okay-i-just-wanted-to-update?source=share I wanted to update it a little because I realized I had a better setup to include the entire echinoderm family for Tina, her siblings, and her friends (though I use friends loosely for some of them) Louise: Sea urchin by a long shot when I found out that sea urchins liked to wear hats (a sea urchin with bunny ears would be so cute X3). Not to mention urchin is a word for a troubled, street kid which fits Louise. Gene: Sand dollar because another name for the sand dollar is sea biscuit or cake urchin which fits him for obvious reasons. Jimmy Jr.: Starfish because of his passion for dancing. Jocelyn: Starfish for being blonde and popular. Tammy: Brittle star fits her perfectly. She tries to be a starfish but her facade very easily shatters. Also, another name for brittle star is serpent star and we all know why that fits her too. XD Zeke: Sea cucumber. The description Tina gives the sea cucumber in "Aquaticism" fits Zeke to a T. Also metaphorically speaking, a creature that spends so much time providing for other sea creatures and letting them live in their butthole while rarely getting anything in return also fits Zeke. Tina: She starts out desiring to be a starfish but insecurity over time makes her believe she's actually an urchin. Turns out she's neither starfish nor an urchin, she's a sea lily. Sea lilies without their stalks are also known as feather stars, so she could also be that but I like the lily one better because the phrase, "gilding the lily" fits her so well.

That's pretty much the update. I want to include Susmita as well, but I'm not sure which echinoderm to make her or if she should even be an echinoderm at all. I probably would make her another starfish because of space stuff if I want to keep with the echinoderm theme. I'm open to other suggestions though because I know touch tanks have more than echinoderms. I'm not even sure if sea lilies or brittle stars are normally part of touch tanks anyway? I just wanted to use them because they are part of the echinoderm family. lol I'm pretty set on all the ones chosen though and I believe fit all of them pretty well, I'm just stumped when it comes to adding other characters. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Update 1/12/2023: Adding more friends to the touch tank idea. Susmita: Hermit crab because it's cute and Zeke named one Saucey which can almost be a cute nickname for Susmita. So I rolled with it because I like hermit crabs. Henry Haber: Horseshoe crab because of his love of dinosaurs since it's a living fossil. Also, both hermit crabs and horseshoe crabs aren't real crabs so they have that in common. Darryl: Sea anemone because I found out that some species of sea anemones sometimes choose to sit on top of hermit crabs or sea snails. I just think it fits Darryl because of how much of a wimp he is. I think the idea of him sitting on hermit crab Susmita for protection is really cute. Rudy Stieblitz: Sea snail because I thought it fit him being the slowest runner in the world.

Courtney Wheeler: Starfish because of her being a blonde and also very stardom driven. Alex Papasian: Hermit crab because of that one time he wanted to run away.

Belcher Sibling Fankids Update:

Unfortunately, I still haven't drawn the fankids yet. I wanted to update regardless though. I added a fourth kid for my version of the Zekina family (the right amount of boys/kids is 4, forever am I right?! XD) and I almost completed the info for Louise's adopted kid. So to keep it brief, I'm going to recap the Zekina kids and give the inspiration behind their names while I provide a bit of info about Louise's adopted child. Adult Gene still doesn't have kids and I don't plan to give them any. Tina:

Daniel “Dani” Bob Belcher - 1. Daniel was the name of pilot Tina, so I thought it would be a fitting name for her first kid. 2. I also made it a headcanon that Danielle is Zeke's grandma's name so it could be more special in the lore. I'll have to find another reason if the show kills my headcanon 3. Bob is his middle name after his maternal grandfather for obvious reasons.

Jeffrey “Jeff” Griffin Belcher - 1. Jeffrey is the name of Tina's body pillow. 2. His nickname, Jeff is based on Tina's ex-ghost box boyfriend. 3. His middle name Griffin is based on Tina's favorite Boyz 4 Now band member. 4. The reason for both names is that they both had an indirect influence on leading Zeke and Tina to each other. Jeff for my headcanon "Tina and the Real Ghost" was around when Zeke realized he had a crush on Tina. Meanwhile, Griffin for the time Zeke and Leslie helped Tina and Louise get to the Boyz 4 Now concert.

Lily Cherilyn Belcher - 1. Lily is the name of Bob's late mother who Tina wanted to honor. 2. Lily is also what Louise tricked Linda into thinking they were renaming Tina (it was a horse called "Gelding the Lily" which in general I think the phrase, "gild the lily" fits Tina perfectly). 3. Cherilyn is a mix of Cheryl's and Linda's name that's not too obvious to honor both of them. 4. It's also a reference to the singer, Cher's full first name. However, that only matters because I have a story idea that Zeke tries to recreate the lost Bolognese sauce recipe from Linda's family. The pun name for Zeke's recipe recreation attempt is, "Do You Bolognese in Life After Love".

Brian “Brine” Tad Belcher - 1. Brian is an anagram for brain, stuff zombies eat. 2. Brian also almost sounds like brine which I thought it be cool to make people think of pickles. 3. The nickname "Brine" is also just me subtly roasting Tina for the time she put too much salt in the soup before Bob found out Zeke had a perfect palette. 4. Tad is a reference to the fact that he is the youngest. 5. Tad is also to honor Teddy because I see him and Zeke bonding really well (especially when he helps Zeke get his captain license in my headcanon). Also, Tina loves Teddy too so of course, she approves. 6. Tad is dated slang for "street kid" in the same way urchin is (so it helps me connect it to touch tank in an indirect way) 7. Tad is a variation of Thaddeus which in Dutch, Taco is also a variation of Thaddeus. (don't ask me, language is weird XD. I'm just happy to connect touch tank and tacos in one name). 8. I really wanted to make the initials BTB so it can also reference the abbreviation of the phrase that excites Tina, "bumper-to-bumper". Louise: Robin Susie Belcher-Stieblitz (- Fischoeder) -

Robin is two years older than Lily and the only child of Lousie through adoption. Robin is a variation of Robert which is where the name, Bob comes from. So Louise named the kid after Bob in a subtle way. However, since Robin is also the name of a bird, she sometimes calls Robin her "little chick". Her middle name, Susie which means "lily" is a way to subtly honor Bob's mother without hogging taking attention away from Lily. Susie is also a reference to "Calvin and Hobbes" as a way to foreshadow that Robin is connected to Calvin Fischoeder. Louise finds out from an old letter that Robin is the long lost grandchild (or great-grandchild, I haven't figured out the timeline yet) of Calvin Fischoeder and the woman he was only married to for a week (not sure if I want it to be Shelby Schnabel or an OC I'll have to make later but my lazy butt says Shelby atm) The greedy side of Louise is thrilled with the potential to finally get a taste of the Fischoeder wealth through Robin. However, the good person side of her throws that idea out the window once she realizes that Felix must never know that Robin is related to the late Calvin. She knows how unhinged Felix is and doesn't want to find out whether Felix would love his grand-niece with open arms (or great-grand-niece) or try to murder her on the spot to keep his spot as head of the Fischoeder wealth to himself (Calvin died at some point, not sure exactly when but definitely after Louise became an adult) Robin takes after both Lousie and Calvin in that she is a major troublemaker. Robin is often the ring leader when it comes to the daily chaos the next-generation Belcher family has to deal with.

That's all I got beyond that. I still need to figure out her family tree so I can even have an idea of what I want to do with her skin tone. I probably need to look more into the Fischoeder lore to get an idea about that. I'll love to get some help/suggestions from the Calvin Fishoeder fans on here. if you're reading, please. :3 Anyway, that's about it. Hope I'll actually draw the munchkins one of these days.

Has Zeke ever given Louise a nickname yet? I think in the episode "Stuck in the Kitchen with You" they even made it a point that Louise is the only one without a nickname from Zeke. Tina got Tina Girl, Gene got G-man (which may or may not be a half-life reference. I have no idea but it would be cool if it was) but Zeke just called Louise by her first name. This is either out of respect because Louise probably would hate it or he's still workshopping one.

I think the closest we got is him calling her an angel in the "Friends with "Burger-Fits" episode, which I can assure you that Louise would definitely hate being called regularly. XD

Either way, this leads to me making my headcanon of Zeke's nickname for Louise.

Lil Lou

It's a reference to Little Lulu (I think the theme song fits Louise just don't look into the original one) which I can see Zeke watching as part of those bargain, classic, cartoon compilation DVDs. He takes one listen to the theme song and he's like, "Eeyup, that's Louise!"

Whether Louise hates the nickname or not I still haven't decided yet. I just feel comfortable with the nickname headcanon regardless.

Since we were denied aged-up designs of the Belcher kids in "What About Job". I decided to use my models & put them in the clothes they had in Bob's story. I didn't feel like doing Jimmy Jr. since he was the only one with reused attire

I tried to give Zeke a different hairstyle for his captain attire but I didn't want to part with it. I can't see adult Zeke in anything but a mohawk now. I'll still keep my fingers crossed for the day we get official aged-up designs for all the Belcher kids and friends though.

My Updated Belcher Kids, Zeke, and Jimmy Jr. Job Headcanons

After "What About Job" I became inspired to update the job headcanons. I know Bob is one of the most unreliable narrators in the show, but it's still the closest thing to canon I'm going to get for now so I'm going to tweak my headcanon a bit to slightly fit what Bob hypothetically thinks might happen. Tina: She went to get a degree in literature at community college. I still think she'll be an author of trashy romance novels, but now I like to think she'll also own a small, (sometimes) peaceful farm by the beach. It just has plants to start out with but it will have horses eventually too (sorry Tina, no going big XD). Bob comes by to help Tina with her plants every now and then. They both enjoy the bonding experience. I also didn't say who she married in the original job headcanon post because I thought it would be better if I left it up to interpretation. Screw ambiguity though, Tina is married to Zeke. He helps out when he can and he got some of his family to work at Tina's farm as well. Part of the plants she grows is for Bob's Burgers while the rest is for selling at the farmers' market. Gene: I'm going with he will become a traveling musician, but I still say he got his start by doing miscellaneous things on Bob's Burgers equivalent to YouTube like in the original post. He travels with Courtney and Alex I'm leaving their relationship up to interpretation because I'm fine either way I just think they are cute all together.

Louise: Has trouble finding herself at 18 but eventually decides to go to community college for chemistry. She started out just wanting to do a field that would help her make explosives. However, she later realized that cooking was just chemistry and she started specifically learning food chemistry. She knew in her heart she wanted to keep her family's business alive and used the knowledge she learned to help experiment on alternative burgers and other food they could sell. She's platonic friends and roommates with Rudy. Rudy works at Bob's Burgers as well, he provides the smoothies and suggestions for allergy-free options for the place. Zeke: He didn't have the means to afford college so he decided to join the navy for action, adventure, and money. They rejected him due to his ADHD though. To make matters worse his dad kicked him out at 18. So he offers to work at Bob's Burgers for a place to sleep as payment until he figures out what to do with himself. Zeke becomes part of the family really fast and Bob is happy to have him as his pupil in the upstairs kitchen. Zeke was still sad that he wouldn't be able to see the world like he hoped if he joined the navy. While he still couldn't join the navy, Teddy did offer to help Zeke at least get a captain's license through his connections. Zeke accepted the offer because it sounded cool to be an official captain if he ever actually had a chance at owning a boat. So during that time he balanced getting his captain's license, working at the restaurant, and earning whatever he could so he could go to culinary school. After he earned his captain's license, he is approached by Mr. Fishoeder (who was probably one of Teddy's connections in the first place) and he offers him a job to captain his booze cruise (which is also totally not used for smuggling anything illegal under the captain's nose, no sir!) at the sexy, adult, night hours on the Wonder Wharf. Not what Zeke had in mind when he got his license but he loved to party and thought it could be fun mixing drinks. Thinking of the chaotic memories that could be made sounded appealing as well. Zeke still works at Bob's Burgers when Louise takes over the restaurant. Louise, Rudy, and Zeke all workshop burgers and food ideas but Zeke is the final decision on if the food is worthy to be sold or not (Louise can never be trusted after the bubblegum burger incident even after studying food chemistry XD) So in the day, he works at Bob's Burgers and Tina's farm while at night he is the party animal captain of the Wonder Wharf booze cruise. Jimmy Jr.: Nothing has changed for him. I still say he's a dance teacher. I don't really have anybody I ship him specifically because none really stand out much. Douglas obviously has a thing for Josh so that's out, I don't want Becky Krespe to give JJ another chance, and while I think the concept of JocelynxJimmy Jr is hilarious, I don't think they would work out. So I'm flexible with whatever as long as it's legal.

Anyway, that's all. This all started because I couldn't brush off what Bob thought Zeke would end up doing. I figured I might as well update all of them after that. Yeah, I know the writers needed at least one person with a boat for the "Children of Men" parody but it's still funny out of all the characters he could have chosen, he picked Zeke.

In celebration of the new season coming out in a day or two, here's the Belcher kids, Zeke, and Jimmy Jr aged up. Louise's gang is still small but she's working on it, she just appreciates being part of a group that appreciates the thrill of smashing glass items and burning other items. To explain Zeke's tattoos. On the left arm is a gardenia on his upper arm while the rest of his arm is wrapped up in weeds. On the right side is a harpoon stabbing a bleeding heat and the blood drips to the bottom and forms an ocean. So he has a beach arm, I was going to give him a Saucy tattoo to add on to the beach arm, but I thought it was too silly and declined it.

As for Gene, I thought it would fit him to give him a skort. All the fun of a skirt and the sex appeal of shorts. I also think it would just fit Gene's love of being a goofball that always surprises you. For Louise's hair, I combined Bob's mom's hair and the top of Bob's hair as well. I want to bring the feels of her looking a little like Bob's mom and taking after her dad with her hairstyle because she will always be a daddy's girl whether she admits it or not. Looks like Tina took Topsy's advice and pulled her hair back. I wanted to combine the vision of older Tina with longer hair as well as pulling her hair back because she looks good showing her whole face. I didn't even need Topsy to tell me that because I dug her no bangs look during the stage fright flashback when Tina didn't stop the hairdresser from cutting all of her bangs off. Tina's glasses were originally going to be blue until I saw that they were too many blue glasses-wearing characters. I changed it to yellow since her barrette would be hiding anyway. It worked out because I found out that Tina's eyes are blue so the yellow glasses will be a great contrast. I also thought a cowl neck sweater dress would fit her because I like to imagine her using the cowl neck to hide her face in shame or awkwardness. I also gave her the choker necklace because I like it too. For Jimmy Jr, I decided to give him dance shoes so he looks like he's always ready to dance. Also, I decided to give him a goatee because he would probably wear one to spite his dad and his butt chin. Anyway, hope you dig the designs. Tina's is probably my favorite. Edit 10/4/2022: I changed Zeke's facial expression and gave Tina, Gene, and Zeke some earrings. Edit 10/09/2022 I changed Zeke's designs because I started hating his pants. I gave him cargo shorts instead. I also gave Zeke's shirt very short sleeves that were inspired by @bluebirbbs design. They are very short though because I didn't want to cover his tattoos. I gave Zeke more facial hair compared to the three lines in his old design. I liked his soul patch in the season 12 finale and gave him some stubble because I thought it fit him. The biggest reason I wanted to give him shorts was because of the leg hair. I wanted to show him as a hairy guy but I couldn't do it with his arms because of the tattoos so I went with legs instead.

Bob's Burgers Question and Adult Belcher Kids and Friends Job Headcanons

I recently got into Bob's Burgers and felt like drawing the Belcher Kids, Jimmy Jr., and Zeke as adults (9 years later). I do need some help with design suggestions though. I see Zeke as a tattoo around both upper arms guy (and maybe some in the back) but I'm stumped on ideas. As a ZekexTina shipper the only idea I have is one of his upper arms having one gardenia with weeds wrapping around the upper arm. I don't want Zeke's tattoos to only be about my preferred ship. So any suggestions for Zeke's tattoos will be appreciated. Now onto my headcanons.

Tina - Online (very) graphic novel artist. She makes her money off of making trashy romance novels but her true passion is her webcomic because it's not tied down by any editors and she can create it how she pleases.

Gene - Social media influencer. He started out with Linda trying to help his family advertise Bob's Burgers on the web. He transitioned by making money off of his Youtube channel (or whatever you call it in the Bob's Burgers universe) by doing whatever creative thing he thinks of such as wacky covers of popular songs or food reviews. His channel is whatever he wants it to be and you never know what he plans to do next.

Louise - At 18 she hasn't matured enough to take over her dad's restaurant. She mostly finds a way to cause chaos while still somehow keeping her job on the wharf. Once she grows a bit more, she decides she still wants to run the family business as she did when she was nine.

Jimmy Jr. - Tried to make it in the dancing industry only to see how corrupt it actually was and didn't want any of that. He teaches dancing instead and tries to be the parent figure his father never was.

Zeke - After getting rejected from joining the military (probably from ADHD but you decide), he finds himself going back to train under Bob Belcher to become a chef because Bob was one of the only people that didn't make him feel like a screw-up and he loved how much he felt at home in the Belcher family. He also does self-defense classes as well that Jimmy Jr. and Louise sometimes volunteer to help out (not that much of Louise though because she makes the environment too chaotic and nothing ever gets done)

its vaguely like the fresh meat au except bob and linda get arrested. hear me out.

the family is still technically a cannibal family but the kids dont know. bob and linda put human meat in the burgers, all their food, they kill and slaughter people, but the kids have no idea this is happening. when tinas 11 (genes 9, louise is 7), bob and linda get arrested for killing people and eating them. the kids are then in and out of orphanages and the streets, and tina has to spend some time in a hospital because of mental illness, but eventually mickey and the other carnies take them in for good. the au takes place two years after the show does (louise is 11, gene is 13, tinas 15 in high school), and the kids are trying to lead normal lives in carniapolis.

individual characters

mickey - their main father figure, the kids live in his trailer, hes still a sort of sketchy guy but has a fairly stable job and loves the kids, a really good guy, not very different from the show but is more worried about the kids now, especially tina because she remembers everything

louise - big goof, kind of a hooligan, wears pajamas pretty much everywhere, still wears her hat, a lot less socialized, curses way too much, has a lot of flashbacks of her parents in her nightmares, sleeps really poorly, a lot more messy, starts play fights a lot more, still close with rudy when she comes back to middle school, clings to tina and misses her at school, all the kids are fluent/semi-fluent in a couple of languages but because she's been speaking spanish since she was seven, she speaks in mostly spanglish now, punk and 2000s emo fan, same sorta relationship with mickey that she had with linda, her parents kind of feels like ghosts that never even had the respect to haunt her

gene - a lot like louise he is also a little more punkish, only eats junk food, sisters have to force him to shower, still plays his little casio but its a lot more decorated and falling apart, kept one of lindas scarves and wears it everywhere he goes, snores loud as FUCK, even worse at reading rooms, met alex and courtney and are close with both of them, also knows spanish but is also fluent in russian because of a carnie named Georgi (doesnt exist but i made them exist), he picked it up so fast!! (ref to eugene mirman), listens to classic hiphop and jazz, close with mickey in the way he was close with bob, remembers his parents fairly well but feels more upset theyre gone than mad at what they did

tina - pretty similar to her original character, just more emotionally muted, like similar to the first seasons but maybe more angry, pretty blank and silent until shes around her siblings, then she gets more animated and seems a bit happier, remembers all of it the most, learned to be a really good fighter, incredibly strong but too thin, gives most of her food to louise and gene, very messy oversized clothes, sweaters and jewelry she made herself, cries in her sleep, when she goes back to school (she's the last to do so), all her old friends (jj, zeke, jocelyn, tammy, susmita, etc.) sit next to her silently and act like she was always there (shes so grateful they never treated her differently even after everything), knows a lot of languages, fluent in english and spanish very good at mandarin knows a little bit of italian and knows every russian curse word, listens to riot grrrl and old hippie rock mickey showed her, very close with all the carnies, especially a lady named Bernie (also does not exist in canon, i made her up), remembers everything, still loves her parents more than anything, just wants them back in her life

bob and linda - in prision, rotting like the people they killed, as much as i love them in canon, this version of them deserves to rot

other than the belcher, nat or trev are probably my favorites. they’re so silly and queer and i love them

the belcher kids are all very different people but i feel like they have two headcanons that i share for all of them: they all really appreciate ironic clothes and hats, and they all get teachers yelling at them to stop talking in class. gene talks really loudly in general, but so does courtney, so they end up having the loudest "whisper" conversations in the back of the class and their teachers always get mad, mostly about music and stuff. louise is normally pretty quiet when she sits near her friends but one time chloe sat in front of her and they just kept talking shit about each other incredibly loudly. a fight almost broke out. tina and susmita talk about ghosts, aliens, and cryptids in the back of class a lot, theyre not really being disruptive on purpose its just they really like talking about those sorts of things together and cant contain themselves if theyre sat near each other. its funny cause most teachers adore them for being respectful and quiet, but if they sit near each other its all over. its not really a problem with any of her other friends, in fact most teachers make her sit next to sam, but with susmita its like they cant stop talking. no one knows why.

gene - flower boy(for the aesthetic, especially garden shed)/wolf(for the storytelling, loves storytelling hip hop/rap)

tina - igor /call me if you get lost (big fan either way, is known to play balloon or find your wings whenever she has aux)

Oh my golly okay get ready for me to yap so I feel like it might depend on the person but since Tina loves to write friendfiction she would definitely be a notebook hoarder (like me) so if anyone got her a pretty journal i think she'd love it

also though like it depends on the person like linda might give her books that she recommends, bob would get her clothes in the style he liked as a kid or records he used to listen to, louise would get her manga she thinks tina would like (she named the chinchilla shinobu so maybe shes watched demon slayer idk!), gene would probably make her something like a song or something silly like that, and if any of her friends got her literally anything she'd be overjoyed

its basically canon that tina is the BEST gift giver so she would make or buy just super super personal items relating to inside jokes or personal experiences like she will remember everything you tell her about yourself. her favorite person to buy for is louise cause she knows just what to get her, but outside of the family probably sam cause he feels like one of those people that cries tears of joy whenever you get him anything

i completely understand the fact that so many people don't like how the most recent episode ended and i am absolutely on tina's side, but it's sort of obvious that a 13 year old would have a stronger grip on morals than a 9 year old, yk? i feel like we have to take everything louise says/does with a grain of salt bc honestly i think she took tinas stuff because she admires her maybe? this is coming from a youngest sibling myself, i use to take my sisters stuff because i just wanted to be like her, even though i never told her that. thats what i see louise as doing, but i could be wrong! what gayle says about being obsessed with linda and wanting to be like her, thats sort of what i saw louise doing. maybe this is just me trying to make myself feel better cause tina's pov made me genuinely sob for 2 hours <3
