UHM, HELLO?!

So I'm watching One piece right now and just about finished the Dressrosa Arc when a thought popped into my head. Ace has been dead for two years and Doflamingo got a hold of the flame flame fruit. But Corazon has been dead for thirteen years and no one has found the calm calm fruit yet. So I was thinking what if Corazon had somehow survived but everyone thinks he is dead. It would explain why Law hasn't found the calm calm fruit or met anyone with it's power.

So, I haven't actually posted this anywhere else at the moment, but this is actually a design I've made for my sister's baking business. I am actually going to look into making her a few business cards as well since she does get regulars to order from her and has only been sending her information via messages. But anyways, yeah. I actually made her a much, MUCH older design before (which was towards the beginning of my schooling for my degree. So about 3-4 years ago?) and as much as she's told me that she's perfectly fine with it, I personally wasn't all too happy with how it turned out, especially with the time crunch that I was on to get it to her. So, I'm surprising her with a new logo! In my honest opinion, I think it looks A LOT better than the original one I made. It still feels a bit bare, but the problem is with it, I wanted to try and fit the things that she makes into the picture and stick to what she specializes in rather than make this huge misleading piece for people. I dunno, maybe it could've used a little more 'pop' with a few other colored sprinkles or maybe adding something on the opposite side. Either way, I'm much happier with this, and I'm sure she'll be just as happy with it as well. (And don't worry, I'm giving her a copy of the picture that doesn't have my watermark over it, I just am posting this one here to avoid art theft, lol) On another note, if you come across this and you happen to have your own small business that you'd like a logo design commissioned, please don't be afraid to reach out to me! I'm willing to negotiate pricing and the complexity of the logo!

Here's part two for the concept designs! Up next we have Kimchi! (Or seagull boy as most of the crew nicknamed him.) You would think with a group of adults, at least one of them would be the navigator? But actually, no. This little rascal is the crew's navigator. While most people have to use a log pose, surprisingly Kimchi has a strong intuition and can usually lead the crew where they need to be without using a compass or map. None of the crew ever could figure out how he was able to navigate the sea, but according to his own account, he had been on the sea for three years alone before they found him. And speaking of finding, that's actually a funny story. At the time that they found him, Kimchi was on a makeshift raft in the middle of the ocean. The only reason they had ever taken him aboard was due to the fact that he was trying to catch a seagull to eat- hence the nickname 'seagull boy'. At the time that they found him, Kimchi was 11. This boy is an absolute riot to be around. He takes his role as a pirate 'very' seriously and will refuse to spill the beans about anything...unless, you know, you bribe him with a snickerdoodle or cinnamon roll. (or any cinnamon sweets for that matter-) Most of the time, just to mess with Woton or Ahiru and Shiro, Kimchi will usually take their belongings and hide them under his 'wizard hat' just to cause trouble at times...yes, the giant safety cone he has on is a wizard hat to him, do not try to reason with the boy, lol. The two little plush he has in the front pocket of his outfit are gifts from both Lee and Willow. While he may not say it, they do mean the world to him. (But he can't let people go thinking he enjoys something from two icky girls, now can he?)

So, I'm giving the small heads up here since I don't really have any other platforms on my phone ATM (aka, all of my other platforms signed me out, this is the only one signed in, lol-)

But for this week I won't be on social media much again. I'll try and get some more written on the story I've been working on, but with issues and concerns I have in my own life, I've been distracted from my work. However, I will be continuing to post regularly. (If it's any consolation, I didn't post on my gaming YouTube channel after promising that I would on Thursday/Friday. So there is that. And I didn't even post to Patreon tonight, either. So it's not just you guys not getting content, I promise!)

In the meantime, I'll cook up some more head canons for WB's crew since a lot of you peeps actually like them (somehow. Dunno how, but there's a lot of you that randomly appear out of the void to like them XD)

I know that I have uploaded this to YouTube already, but let me tell you. When I say this is by far the greatest thing that I have made so far this year...I mean that with every fiber in my being XD I think the thing that sells it for me is the fact that on every platform that I have uploaded this to, Luffy's closeup is the Thumbnail image for it, and I am living for it, lol! I'll probably be trying to post every other day or once a week. Something like that. As of currently, I am trying to figure out a good schedule for streaming as well as posting my art, so yeah. It might be inconsistent upload times for the time being, lol.

You know what I think is the funniest thing? Whenever I reach a rut in my writing and don't know where to go with it, or how to even write the starter, I just pretend I'm writing the book for a play and it works every time XD

Don't know how to start a yandere plot? Pretend you're writing the monologue for a protagonist down on their luck. Don't know how to move the story? Just create a background character that makes a random remark to fill the void between to action points :3 Maybe this is just a me thing since I actually was in drama club and drama class back when I attended public school, but I think that even now a lot of those skills are useful into tricking my brain into getting past different types of ruts in my hobbies, lol

A Pawsible Problem- A Whitebeard Pirates Fan Story (A small excerpt from a Patreon Exclusive story)

Is this probably evil to post only a tidbit of this story here? Yes, yes it is. Do I have good reason for this?...Yes, actually. Long story short, I'm currently looking to find a way to leave my job and have a full time sustainable gig from home. My main goal/ my dream goal is to finish the children/tween chapter book I am working on so I can make the art for it. But, as to be expected, that's easier said than done when you're trying to balance a job still, as well as art and animation. Sooo, I'll be doing this to gain people's attention in order to get more people to support my Patreon. Don't worry, my art isn't stopping, but until I can find a way to leave my job and make more time to actually be able to pump out both my art and writing 24/7, this is the only way I know I can get peeps to head over and support it. Ah, but don't worry! if you aren't able to support my Patreon, then please do wait. It may take some time, but with the progression of this story, I will be uploading a full version of it to Itch.io as a downloadable version, it'll probably be something you have to pay for, but maybe like a dollar or so at most. (Yes, I want to be able to write and draw for a living, but I don't want to bankrupt people doing such, lol.) The dim lights of the vehicle stood as a small flicker of a flame on the night drive in comparison to the light show that was taking place in the sky above. Between the low hum of the engine and the distant sound of the thunder, it became vacantly clear that the chirp of crickets had been snuffed out before their symphony could begin. Within the small cramped confines of the car that continued its trek down the road were two passengers. A man’s hunched form was over the wheel of the vehicle while his eyes squinted on the paved road ahead. The other passenger in the crosswise seat had been curled up. Their rhythmic breathing gave away the peaceful state of slumber that had befallen them. They couldn’t be blamed for it, the need for wanting sleep. Not many could find the beauty in nature. Well, I guess that wasn’t the case for them. The road ahead might’ve stretched on forever, but at the end of the journey would be their new home. Change was always a big deal. The thousands of ways people handled it came in all various sizes.

A fun little draft I'm working on

So I saw someone do this for Thatch. And while I'd also LOVE to make an alternate version of Thatch for a lookup figure, I might honestly might make a separate character for a lookup figure concept as a whole to go with Bernice. I might make maybe Haruta or Izo (since in Bernice's canon info I'm working on, she does get along with them fairly well-) But yeah...For now, take the concept I made for Bernice! :D

You can take this as a vent? As much as I wanna say that it isn't, it kind of is...if that makes sense- Basically, to sum up a lot of my absence from social media, apparently I have depression :D I didn't think that I did, buuuuttt I've gone to the doctor's over it, and a lot of the health problems are have basically tie into depression...so here we are now! Yes, I'm working on it. Yes, it's a lot. Unfortunately, I don't really feel comfortable talking about it/what's led me to this point (which is saying something since I have a therapist and feel uncomfortable opening up to even them about it-) Bottom line: I should, SHOULD, be back to my regular schedule soon...I hope- (and if I disappear again, then you guys know why XD)
