Part five of the crew...hopefully- It seems only fitting to talk about Noko next. Noko is the first mate of the Meadow Pirates and- at one point- was head over heels for Lee. While Lee never picked up on it, her brother had. Normally, though, when her brother would catch men trying to hit on his sister, he’d actually run them off. But because Noko’s intentions have been nothing but kind towards her and her brother, and because he had been in her brother’s crew for a couple of years, he trusted Noko enough to actually try and get closer to Lee if she’d allow him to. This was actually a lot of the reason as to why he had gone with Lee when she had set out on her own in the first place. Of course, he never really got the chance to confess any of his feelings to her, but he never seemed all too bothered by it. While being a part of the crew- or Lee’s parents’ fleet- Noko never specified their age. Tree (the crew’s medic) actually deducted his age to be right around Lee’s age. Somewhere between 24 and 26. A fun fact about Noko: his outfits are adaptable to any kind of weather. While he does have an abundance of brightly colored clothing, all of his vests and pants have zippers at the ends of them. Yes, this man has zip-on sleeves and pants. In his own words, ‘the weather in the Grand Line is unpredictable, you have to be ready for a wardrobe change at the drop of a dime if you want to stay healthy.’ He is actually the biggest sweetheart on the crew as well. When there’s uncharted islands they end up at, or ones that seem very unfriendly to pirates, he usually will be the first to volunteer to scout the island for the safety of the others. (And I do have to say this: he liked Lee. He was never over the moon for her Like Sanji’s schtick with women and when he’d first see them. (So no nose bleed or embarrassing himself, lol.) However, he was a lot kinder to her like Sanji is to women and usually would hold doors for her/ keep her safe during battles.

Note: As you can tell, graphic design is my greatest passion. I'll try to make this fancier at some point. For now, sorry, this is what you get. I mainly hang on Ao3, which I am adept at using because it looks like it was made in 2004 and never updated (compliment).

You know what I think is the funniest thing? Whenever I reach a rut in my writing and don't know where to go with it, or how to even write the starter, I just pretend I'm writing the book for a play and it works every time XD

Don't know how to start a yandere plot? Pretend you're writing the monologue for a protagonist down on their luck. Don't know how to move the story? Just create a background character that makes a random remark to fill the void between to action points :3 Maybe this is just a me thing since I actually was in drama club and drama class back when I attended public school, but I think that even now a lot of those skills are useful into tricking my brain into getting past different types of ruts in my hobbies, lol

Just a little animation I made of Lee a year-ish or so ago. ( I kind of want to redo it now since the timing for it is off and doesn't move as smoothly as I want it to, lol-...plus, I need to stop drawing Lee crying, she's not a crybaby. She's just traumatized-)

I can't believe that I have this posted EVERYWHERE, and even have this sat as my profile picture here, but never made an official post on it! :0 Well, better late than never I guess, lol. Anyways, jumping right in, this little gremlin right here is Bernice. While she made look like she's sweet and cutesy and very she/nervous (which she really can be at times) she is actually a revolutionary and ally to Whitebeard's crew. You'll learn about her more as I post her introduction comic, but yeah. (Also, yes, eventually she does pick one group over the other, but not willingly. due to certain...circumstances, she actually resigns her position with one of the two and does try to game over someone over what happened. Not saying who she leaves or who she decides to take on, but it definitely isn't what you'd be expecting. Lol.) But yeah, Take this gremlin for now. Dudes, we need more oc with plain hair colors/brown hair colors and actually beauty blemishes. Ocs with brown hair are SEVERELY underrated, but ocs with multiple little moles/accurate freckles are even MORE disgustingly underrated. The same with female ocs with short hair- (This is my far cry for you peeps that have ocs with any of these things to tag me in them, lol. Or even just tag me in them in general, I need new artists to follow on here XD)

A Proper Introduction

This has been up for a while, so allow me to actually shorten this a bit now XD-

Hi! If you don't know me, please just address me as Ducky! Some of the things you'll quickly find out if you stick around on my little piece of the internet (I call it the duck pond-) is that I cosplay, do art (I went to college for animation, but I do tend to draw very slowly at times, lol-) and write. I also stream every Friday, or at least try to. I do have things that do get in the way of my regular posting schedules, so I do apologize if I go weeks on end without streaming or posting gameplay-

For the most part, I do tend to do a lot of art for One Piece. HOWEVER, there are certain fandoms that I will occasionally make art for... unless I'm just posting vent art of some kind. Which is rare, but I do every now and then. (Also, you will catch me making and posting art of my oc x cc shippings because...why not? FREE WILL EXISTS FOR A REASON, SHUSH-) Uhhh...other things to know for fun because why not? :D -I go by she/her -I'm 22, but VERY awkward with talking to everyone -I'm a Gemini! -INFJ with a 9w1 enneagram :3 -I am ALWAYS looking for peeps to do art/cosplay collabs with! So don't be afraid to reach out at anytime to ask to do one! ^v^ -The anxiety levels are over 9,000 (Hence the reason it might feel like I'm ignoring you or most people in general. I just have a hard time with talking to people, but I'm trying to work on it!) -HUGE card and coin collector. I mostly collect One Piece cards, but...have you seen Bisai's art for the different sets? Things to know about my ocs: -Regarding any of my ocs, you are ABSOLUTELY allowed to make fan art for them! I just ask that you tag me in it so that I can reblog it (You better believe I'm going to treat my page like a fridge, AND IT'S BIG ENOUGH TO DISPLAY ALL OF IT!) -All of my current ocs that have completed wikis are posted up on my Wattpad account, so you can go view all of the information on them there. But please do be warned, when I typed their info up in their original documents, a lot of them stretched to about 42 pages? Something like that? So do be warned that you'll be reading for a long while, lol. -My current oc x cc pairings are for One piece only atm. (I'm currently working out a Mouthwashing oc because that game has me in such a bad chokehold currently, it's not even funny XD) Those pairings are: Thatch and Bernice, Heat and Lee, and Rakuyo and Pandora (Tonta is also there, but he's Pandora's son, so...yeah-) -My ask box can be for any of my ocs, or even drawing suggestions. Apparently the fandom has a bad rep? Dunno how, I guess I just haven't dipped my toes into the fandom that far yet-) -Obey Me! That's not my Neighbor -The Arcana: Visual Novel -Fnaf: Security Breach -Naruto -My Hero Academia (Again, another fandom that has a bad rep, but I personally just don't mingle with others. AND BEFORE YOU ASK, no, I don't really like a lot of the popular characters. Shoji is actually my favorite out of the whole fandom (What? I like a lot of the roles that Ian Sinclair voices, ok!) -Fire Force (ANOTHER UNDERRATED FANDOM!!) -Mouthwashing (HAVE YOU SEEN THE CHARACTER DESIGN LORE FOR THIS GAME?! And with you peeps knowing me, I'm a HUIGE sucker when it comes to intricate details for character designing!! (I think my oc wikis and their 50 paged documents speak for themselves on that, lol-)) Please be patient, I'm currently working on a chapter directory for Appraise Love since the chapters are really spread out in comparison to a lot of my projects- (Updated as of 2/27/25)

I feel bad...I've been sitting here all day going 'huh...I wonder when Appraise Love is going to be updated'... How...tf did I forget that I'M THE ONE WRITING THE STORY?? Dunno, but I'm going to be working on it over the next couple of days since I somehow forgot, lol-

A few random whitebeard’s headcanons:

- In hot weather Atoms can be seen laying flat on his back sunbathing no matter how busy it gets on the main deck

- Whitebeard actually likes to banter with his kids about his health, it’s a guilty pleasure seeing his kids worry about him (smh someone get this old man)

- Rakuyo frequently overhears crew members secrets purely by accident. Rakuyo had trouble keeping it to himself so he avoided long conversations, worried it’ll slip out, cause when he starts talking he can’t stop, having no control of what comes out, but he found comfort in telling it all to Curiel, Curiel doesn’t care for rumors or secrets so he doesn’t mind having Rokuyo act as personal podcast while he works

- Haruta enjoys mysteries from mystery books, mysterious rumors, to Mysterious islands. He’s all up for it until it gets too paranormal, he’ll try to disprove it but once he can’t, it scares the crap out of him. (He’ll be thinking about it for weeks)

- Thatch loves telling spooky stories, he’s so good at telling them that he scares himself sometimes (Marco is tired of him having “surprise sleepovers” in his room (with the addition of Haruta and Jozu sometimes) these nights he actually go to sleep on time instead of pulling another all nighter to finish paperwork)

- Jozu is naturally superstitious and Thatch’s stories doesn’t help one bit, he gets struck with insomnia some nights (you can catch him asking Thatch was the stories true the next day or asking his other brothers if they believe it’s true, he just needs a bit of reassurance)

- Whitey bay bought all of Haruta clothes when he joined, she daunted on him a lot when he was younger, he ended up with her taste in clothes and some of her personality

- Izo has to make his kimonos himself, it’s one of the many forms of art he enjoys but like any artist, he’s got bad spending habits, spending chunks of his funds on different textured n patterned fabrics, different threads, and whatever else the shop owners swore he needed, he started giving half his money to Marco to hold for some type of control.

- Izo wrote many letters to Kiku, so many it could’ve became a travel log, it was later burned up with the moby during the paramount war.

- Rakuyo loves cats but has cat allergies, he sneezes like crazy with his eyes watering with no control as he nuzzles a kitten.

- Kingdew has pollen allergies, also of sneezing variety.

- Vista has an affinity for cats, he doesn’t take any in because of how of Rakuyo gets.

- Thatch has an affinity for all animals especially the large vicious ones, “Why bad if friend shaped” mentality. (He’d fold immediately if he seen a lion taking a nap with its paws covering it’s face)

- Marco has an affinity for birds (ofc) but gets irritated with them if they come bothering him too much, he still ends up feeding them. When he’s grumbling about the birds Thatch calls it “family drama”.

- Blamenco’s whole division holds pride in their craft, him included, they got a friendly rivalry with galley la workers (even though some of them are from galley la, it’s fun to to talk shit even if it’s your old friends) Galley la is always loud with banter and laughter when they come by to pick up materials.
