I love doing research for my ocs :3

So apparently this was a flop over on Cara (aka, I think that I jsut posted at a time that no one was on, so they didn't really notice the post, lol) so I'm posting it here because I really want you peeps to know how much love I actually put into making my ocs!

So, I've said on all of my platforms, all of my ocs do have disorders or medical issues in one way or another. And with each of these disorders, I actually do a thorough amount of research before I officially post the information. (And yes, Lee's info is actually out. I posted it up on my Wattpad. Just as an fyi, you will be a minute reading all of it. There's a lot, lol) So, I'm just going to jump right into things. Up first on the roster is their blood types. I know, I sound crazy, but surprisingly, there is some research that goes into the blood types I assign my ocs. It depends on if they have a blood disorder (such as Pandora and Tonta with their heart problems) or their personality traits. Yes, you heard- well, read- correctly. Their personality traits actually play a HUGE part into their blood types. There are studies out there that a few groups have done that proves certain blood types have generalized similarities in personality traits. In Lee's information, I have her listed as A- for her blood type because people with that blood type actually are very introverted people. They're independent to an extent and are very reserved. To those of you that have read up on her (or have followed her development since day one of me creating her-) you can't say that DOESN'T describe her.

I also do research into the names as well. Lee's full name is Lee Ganji, which when translated separately, her first name translate to 'meadow' while her last name translates to 'two beginnings'. This plays a huge part in her info since her own crew's name she was originally the captain of was the 'Meadow Pirates', and after she lost them she got recruited to Kidd's crew- hence the reasoning for her lasty name.

In the way of medical problems, Lee has VCD (Vocal Cord Dysfunction). This is actually something I have, and it is pretty common. Basically, it's a condition that mimics asthma but directly causes the vocal cords to flutter and cause breathing issues. No, it's not a birth defect/ something you're born with, and yes it is treatable through simple speech therapy (or other medical protocol/ therapy). A lot of the time, this can happen from basic things like coughing, your drink 'going down the wrong way', and multiple other reasons.

However in Lee's case, because she doesn't talk very much, VCD is something she's pretty much stuck with. Now for her information, I did make it a bit more dramatic and have it play into a lot of the reason she doesn't talk. Is it that intense in reality? No, not really. (Like I said, I have it, and I still run around like an unhinged maniac on days since sitting still isn't an option, lol. All it does is effect your breathing mostly.) (I've also recently found out that vcd does occur more commonly in women than men, and even more so with women that has phycological problems. Unfortunately, this is also accurate to Lee's info since she does suffer with survivor's guilt.)

As for Pandora and her son, Tonta, their medical condition is quite…unique. And yes, this is also an actual thing. So, getting into their info, Pandora and Tonta were both born with their hearts on the right side of their chest instead of the left. This is a lot of the reason as to why Pandora has multiple scars on the left side of her where her heart 'should' be.

In reality, less than 1% of people in the world actually have this, and unfortunately, this does come with quite a few health risks. (How wouldn't it? Your body basically decided to play Yahtzee with your insides and mixed everything up. Of course there's going to be major repercussions with it.) The official name for this is 'dextrocardia'. And one of the main side effects that go along with this is 'Pallor'. To sum this up, this is a condition where the skin appears paler than normal. This actually has a lot to do with Pandora's appearance. While Tonta doesn't have it, Pandora does because 1. There are a few female problems that do tie into Pallor, and 2. She is the main and first family member to have dextrocardia. Hence the reason it's a lot stronger with her than Tonta. Now, does that mean it's hereditary? No. Somehow Tonta ended up with the same problem by luck, not genetics. So, in other words, Tonta and Pandora have their hearts on the right side of them by pure coincidence, not by hereditary development. (Their family's curse, however? Now that's a different story entirely-)

As of currently, I am in the works of fleshing out Bernice's info since she's my favorite little gremlin bean. (But to be fair, I have too many videos I plan to make of memes for her and Thatch just sharing a brain cell, so as of currently I don't really have any medical conditions really thought out. I mean she does eventually take phycological at some point n her info (and it double dips in the canon timeline to One Piece with what happens to Thatch :( ) But I think that she'll actually be a perfectly healthy oc for once with no problems! :D

This is Bernice, She's a revolutionary, but eventually becomes an ally to Whitebeard's crew since she doesn't want to become a nurse or cook on the crew and wants to keep her ability to fight (She ate a devil fruit. of course she's gonna want to fight >:3)

The mean looking lady is Pandora, and the boy is her son. She's a Marine Admiral. She's neutral and humane with criminals. But if you even threaten to touch her son, civilian or criminal, Just know you'll be losing more of your arm than Shanks did to a sea king. (The woman's known for her strength with just her bare hands and has, in fact, ripped a man's arm clean off up to the shoulder joint after testing her :D)

When I tell you guys that I haven't even finished a quarter of this project and it has made me cry so many times already- I actually started this a couple of weeks after Cavetown actually released this cover of Mine All Mine. I could've done it with the original, but I honestly love Cavetown a lot, and love this version of the song so much! Anyways, this is actually a small part of the WIP that I wanted to share with you guys before it spoiled anything else of the project. I feel like where I trimmed this to actually post the sneak peek doesn't give away much...hopefully it doesn't, since this is actually a new avenue I'm venturing down to introduce my ocs and their information/stories. But, yeah, no, this whole project has become an absolute emotional roller coaster. I'm in love with the art I'm making for a lot of the slides, but I feel like I'm purposefully hurting myself by making something THIS sad, lol.

I have a couple of stories that I'm posting on Ko-fi, (and I'm trying to figure out AO3 so I can actually upload there, too-) and can't use those plots, and I'm debating on even still working on the winter one shot, but outside of that, I'd like to have an actual story to upload here on the back burner.

I am open to anything, so long as it's not smut right out of the gate. (I'm a sucker for stories with build up, and with how I write, I love paying mind to EVERY detail, so it would have to be an idea I'd be writing on for a while :3)

The one going up on Ko-fi is one that involves cats and getting sucked into the OP universe, and my irl book I'm writing basically is a kid's chapter book, so that involves a school kind of theme (yes. I actually am trying to publish a book. I'm probably going to also be using my Ko-fi to post teaser bits of that story up there to help kind of give it traction-)

Anyways, my point is that I'd like some kind of idea. Ok, I HAVE ideas, I have a whole catalog of them, but my question is if I should just bite the bullet and start writing one to upload here, or if you guys had a preference.

(I have to clarify that the reason I ask is simply for one reason: if you peeps leave it up to me, I'm gonna write an CC x reader where the reader is either insanely strong/buff/more body inclusive that matches my own head canons, or a normie damsel-in-distress. I have no happy medium XD)

Hey, my peeps!

So as we all know, Christmas is just around the corner, and usually with that follows the first of the year. So as I have done on all of my social media platforms, I will be shifting things around a bit and taking a break from social media as a whole until the beginning of next year. Now what does that mean exactly? Well it's simple!

Starting in 2025, I will be starting a new posting schedule. And more specifically, it will be starting the first Monday of 2025. Now granted, I could easily start posting a lot now, but as I've stated before, I have a lot I have planned out, and in order to give me that time to get to my end results, I have to start giving myself the time to do the things that I want to do. And I have a pretty general idea of what I want the schedule to be. So, going into the holiday season, here will be the the new schedule that (I hope) I'll be sticking to.

Monday: I will be starting to post out older (and the new as I finish them) artwork on a more fixed schedule to Patreon first, and then post the rest later on in the week.

Tuesday: I will not be prevalent on social media, but will be using this day to either work on art behind the scenes or writing, depending on which one I fall behind on.

Wednesday: I will be posting old streams up on my gaming/cosplay YouTube channel- that will also be coming with the start of the year- as well as uploading cosplay content.

Thursday: I will be spending Thursdays to mostly check up on all of my social media platforms (respond to everyone/ like comments/ etc.) as well as use Thursdays as my days to do cosplay content.

Fridays: I WILL be streaming more on Fridays. I want to make my art a lot more known, so I'll most likely be streaming most of the time on Fridays. The first half of the day will probably be on Twitch and the second half of the day will be on my art YouTube channel.

Saturdays/Sundays: I will be giving myself days off on these two days. Maybe in the near future if- and when- I can get a shop made up and going, I'll be using these days to make my merch/ art products. but for now, these are just days to relax and work on a current music project me and my brother are planning out.

Again, this may not be the permanent schedule, but I do want to try and stick to it. But until then, please enjoy the rest of the year!

WHITEBEARD HAS A DOG😭 a small ass dog at that! You know bro was probably terrified of hurting it. Imagine that big ass man with that tiny ass dog bro. Sitting on his big ass chair petting him. Imagine there being some kind of protocol whenever pirates/marines would try and board their ship and Whitebeard has one person he really trusts to get the little guy out of there and protect him at all costs during the fight. Imagine how pampered that tiny ass dog is. Bro probably had a vet just for him on the ship. Imagine his little corner with his bed and stuff, his own little room. I’m imagining one of those small, long white haired dogs. The drawing doesn’t give us much to go off of but that’s what I’m picturing in my head. I like the idea that if it is a long white hair dog that whitebeard has tried to get the groomers to give him the same mustache so they could twin. Also if whitebeard wasn’t the one that found/ got the dog and brought it on the ship then imagine one of his crew members finding it and bringing it to the ship, asking to keep it and Whitebeards just like “Fine but I’m not taking care of it!” As if he didn’t want it. Ya know how dads always do that with pets when you first get them then they fall in love with it. Then they are suddenly in love with the dog they “didn’t want”.

But that’s besides the point. What I’m worried about is, what happened to the dog after Whitebeard died???? Where is bro? Where was the dog during MarineFord? Was he storming the place too or was bro locked in a room on the ship??? Was he at the funeral?? IM LITERALLY GONNA CRY STOPPP. I need oda to write a book about Whitebeard and his dog. It will be the only book about a man and his dog I will ever read because I know one of them is probably gonna die in the end and I’m too scared. Someone please give me fanart of this dog. Write a story about bro or something I don’t care PLEASE I just need more about this little guy before I go insane

Fun little heads up

Ok, please bear with me here for a few seconds- I won't be long, I'm going to try and be quick about this. So long story short, I'll be taking the next few weeks to try and clean up my account here. I didn't actually think this would become such a jumbled mess of things, but apparently it has, lol. And there's surprisingly a lot of you that have come across my account to read Appraise Love, so I have decided to do something a bit different than what I do for all of my other platforms (except Youtube, that's the only other one I've done something like this for-) So basically, here's the plan: I take all of my head canons, stories, writing works, etc. and put them on a dedicated account for JUST writing things, and then leave this as my art/cosplay account. I'm actually going to poll this as well because I don't honestly know what's more convenient for you guys and the way you find my writing. So I guess vote for now and I'll get back here once this is over to finish cleaning up my account :3

So, I haven't actually posted this anywhere else at the moment, but this is actually a design I've made for my sister's baking business. I am actually going to look into making her a few business cards as well since she does get regulars to order from her and has only been sending her information via messages. But anyways, yeah. I actually made her a much, MUCH older design before (which was towards the beginning of my schooling for my degree. So about 3-4 years ago?) and as much as she's told me that she's perfectly fine with it, I personally wasn't all too happy with how it turned out, especially with the time crunch that I was on to get it to her. So, I'm surprising her with a new logo! In my honest opinion, I think it looks A LOT better than the original one I made. It still feels a bit bare, but the problem is with it, I wanted to try and fit the things that she makes into the picture and stick to what she specializes in rather than make this huge misleading piece for people. I dunno, maybe it could've used a little more 'pop' with a few other colored sprinkles or maybe adding something on the opposite side. Either way, I'm much happier with this, and I'm sure she'll be just as happy with it as well. (And don't worry, I'm giving her a copy of the picture that doesn't have my watermark over it, I just am posting this one here to avoid art theft, lol) On another note, if you come across this and you happen to have your own small business that you'd like a logo design commissioned, please don't be afraid to reach out to me! I'm willing to negotiate pricing and the complexity of the logo!

A Pawsible Problem- A Whitebeard Pirates Fan Story (A small excerpt from a Patreon Exclusive story)

Is this probably evil to post only a tidbit of this story here? Yes, yes it is. Do I have good reason for this?...Yes, actually. Long story short, I'm currently looking to find a way to leave my job and have a full time sustainable gig from home. My main goal/ my dream goal is to finish the children/tween chapter book I am working on so I can make the art for it. But, as to be expected, that's easier said than done when you're trying to balance a job still, as well as art and animation. Sooo, I'll be doing this to gain people's attention in order to get more people to support my Patreon. Don't worry, my art isn't stopping, but until I can find a way to leave my job and make more time to actually be able to pump out both my art and writing 24/7, this is the only way I know I can get peeps to head over and support it.
