More of me being a goober in my Fem! Thatch cosplay (Also, I did make the earrings myself! :D)

Sadly the mini story I wanted to write probably won't be posted on time (but is it really a holiday post if I don't post it late? Lol, none of my holiday stuff is ever posted out on time-)

BUT, I do have a valid reason! My poor son ended up having to go to the doctor today. No, he's not sick, he's a short stack, and ended up spraining his ankle getting off of my couch. (No, I am not talking about a human child, I am talking about my dog, lol.)

Sooooooo, a mini version of it might be coming out in the next week. For sure before new years, but probably not before Christmas. And if that falls through, I have couples/partner preference head canons I will be posting in place because if I can't give you peeps fluffy content one way, then I'll follow through with another, lol!

If I haven't made it blatantly known before, I actually have a multitude of art style at my disposal. So if my hands will not cooperate with the one for the day, I usually can switch to one of the others. This one is one of my more cartoony/simplified versions. (I will be drawing Ivankov one day, or even just going in and coloring the slide in this one because the drawing of them here is just *Chef's kiss* My art style did them justice here, and I couldn't love it more. This doesn't actually happen in her info, But Ivankov and Sabo both give her a hard time for going between missions and visiting Whitebeards crew frequently. (Also, because I don't like the idea that he's actually gone, this is in an AU where Thatch does survive, but these two goons just give her a hard time and make her worry for nothing, lol.)

A Proper Introduction

This has been up for a while, so allow me to actually shorten this a bit now XD-

Hi! If you don't know me, please just address me as Ducky! Some of the things you'll quickly find out if you stick around on my little piece of the internet (I call it the duck pond-) is that I cosplay, do art (I went to college for animation, but I do tend to draw very slowly at times, lol-) and write. I also stream every Friday, or at least try to. I do have things that do get in the way of my regular posting schedules, so I do apologize if I go weeks on end without streaming or posting gameplay-

For the most part, I do tend to do a lot of art for One Piece. HOWEVER, there are certain fandoms that I will occasionally make art for... unless I'm just posting vent art of some kind. Which is rare, but I do every now and then. (Also, you will catch me making and posting art of my oc x cc shippings because...why not? FREE WILL EXISTS FOR A REASON, SHUSH-) Uhhh...other things to know for fun because why not? :D -I go by she/her -I'm 22, but VERY awkward with talking to everyone -I'm a Gemini! -INFJ with a 9w1 enneagram :3 -I am ALWAYS looking for peeps to do art/cosplay collabs with! So don't be afraid to reach out at anytime to ask to do one! ^v^ -The anxiety levels are over 9,000 (Hence the reason it might feel like I'm ignoring you or most people in general. I just have a hard time with talking to people, but I'm trying to work on it!) -HUGE card and coin collector. I mostly collect One Piece cards, but...have you seen Bisai's art for the different sets? Their art is so pretty!! >w< So, I actually collect to appreciate the art, lol (And am currently looking to try and find someone that could help me learn how to play the game-) -Favorite voice actor is Ian Sinclair. (He does a lot of cool roles :3) -Top five One Piece Characters (In no real order): Thatch, Corazon, Heat, Killer, and Fukaboshi (The rest of Whitebeard's crew is right behind them, lol-) -Oddly enough, I've come to realize that most of my favorite characters over all of the anime and games I'm in are ENFJs, and I don't know how it keeps happening XD Uhhhh...Oh, right! Things to know about my ocs: -Regarding any of my ocs, you are ABSOLUTELY allowed to make fan art for them! I just ask that you tag me in it so that I can reblog it (You better believe I'm going to treat my page like a fridge, AND IT'S BIG ENOUGH TO DISPLAY ALL OF IT!) -All of my current ocs that have completed wikis are posted up on my Wattpad account, so you can go view all of the information on them there. But please do be warned, when I typed their info up in their original documents, a lot of them stretched to about 42 pages? Something like that? So do be warned that you'll be reading for a long while, lol. -My current oc x cc pairings are for One piece only atm. (I'm currently working out a Mouthwashing oc because that game has me in such a bad chokehold currently, it's not even funny XD) Those pairings are: Thatch and Bernice, Heat and Lee, and Rakuyo and Pandora (Tonta is also there, but he's Pandora's son, so...yeah-) -My ask box can be for any of my ocs, or even drawing suggestions. I'm open to anything! :3

And finally...fandoms I'm in! -Hetalia (...this show has had me in a death grip since 2010, shush-) -Creepypasta -Demon Slayer (We can be friends or enemies depending on your views of Gyomei >:3) -Jojo's Bizarre Adventure -Alice in the Country of Hearts (I FEEL LIKE THE VILLAGE CRAZY LADY BEING THE ONLY ONE THAT STILL LOVES THIS FANDOM, PLEASE, IT'S SO GOOD, BLOW IT UP-) -Villainous (And I have to clarify: Cartoon Network Villainous, Not Disney Villainous-) -Tokyo Debunkers -Hazbin Hotel (I have loved the concept since the pilot episode released, though I don't really talk about it that much. Apparently the fandom has a bad rep? Dunno how, I guess I just haven't dipped my toes into the fandom that far yet-) -Obey Me! That's not my Neighbor -The Arcana: Visual Novel -Fnaf: Security Breach -Naruto -My Hero Academia (Again, another fandom that has a bad rep, but I personally just don't mingle with others. AND BEFORE YOU ASK, no, I don't really like a lot of the popular characters. Shoji is actually my favorite out of the whole fandom (What? I like a lot of the roles that Ian Sinclair voices, ok!) -Fire Force (ANOTHER UNDERRATED FANDOM!!) -Mouthwashing (HAVE YOU SEEN THE CHARACTER DESIGN LORE FOR THIS GAME?! And with you peeps knowing me, I'm a HUIGE sucker when it comes to intricate details for character designing!! (I think my oc wikis and their 50 paged documents speak for themselves on that, lol-)) Please be patient, I'm currently working on a chapter directory for Appraise Love since the chapters are really spread out in comparison to a lot of my projects- (Updated as of 2/27/25)

One Piece ocs and their preferred hugs

Look it here! Here's another post that I'm putting up today! :D (I really do apologize for the lack of content from me on all of my platforms. I've recently been working on fixing things in my personal life that's been getting in the way of my posting schedule and only just today finally felt like posting again. So to make up for my absence, I'm posting art up on all of my platforms. Cara is only getting two since the third is actually a gif of Lee-)

Anyways, this post is also for my ocs. However, it's both of the pairings that I always post about here. And after seeing multiple things about the blushing memes people do with other characters, I same up with the idea to make a reference sheet for the types of hugs my ocs and their partners like to give/receive! I'll also apologize in advanced, I know that my handwriting isn't exactly the best, but I'll sum it up for each one. Basically, Heat and Lee give fairly normal hugs. Both are VERY awkward in the way of affection. Usually their hugs are short (shorter than they probably should be) and are only something they do when no one else is around. So they're very limited in those regards. Most of the time, there's no real initiative or reasoning for them. (Not to try and cheer the other up, calm them, keep them warm, etc.). It's usually whenever they're alone and one of them realizes they haven't in a while. Beyond that Heat nor Lee really need much to show they're together. They know that, and that's enough for them.

Bernice and Thatch, however, are VERY silly with their hugs. Most of the time Bernice does tend to be shy about them when around others, but Thatch usually does it around the people on the islands they stop at that try to hit on her. (He also does occasionally to try and annoy the other commanders, and most of the time it does work with Ace and Haruta. The others have learned that if they make a remark about keeping it going or something a bit more perverse, neither of the two will stay in the hug.) Thatch usually enjoys hugs from Bernice on the account of her devil fruit. Because she can turn her body into wool fluffing, she basically is like a human pillow. So of course hugging her is comforting. Bernice, however, is the unhinged of the two and enjoys these weird headlock hugs from him. She doesn't exactly know why herself, but to her they are a lot more comforting (and silly) and do a lot for when she's stressed or down.

(Also, yes. I drew Bernice's little curl as a heart here, that was on purpose >v< ) I also feel I need to point out their heights since I've never really posted them here, but their pairings are definitely odd. Lee's canon height in her info is 5'7 Heat is estimated at around 7'0 Bernice's canon height in her unreleased info is 5'9 Thatch was said to be about 6'2 in an sbs, but I'd say he's closer to 7'0/8'0. Only reason? Ace is about 6'2, Marco is about 6'8, and Thatch is usually drawn taller than the two of them. (Not including his pompadour-). However, he's shorter than Vista (Who is about Jinbe's height, and Jinbe is 9'11. Sooooo, yeah-)

Fun fact about Bernice and Thatch

This is a fun little fact that I wanted to share with you peeps here because I don't think I ever really did before. Sooo, allow me to go into detail about it now. I think that a lot of people don't understand why I themed Bernice's outfit the way I did. (Granted, I only draw her in the striped and dotted turtleneck, but she does have other long sleeves she wears. I just forget to actually draw them and default to her turtleneck, lol) So, allow me to enlighten you peeps a bit here! Looking at Thatch and Bernice, Obviously there's a lot different about them. Bernice has a Devil fruit, usually dresses fairly warm, tends to keep her hair messier, but withing reason, and has her outfit themed more around a darker purple and black color palette. (With a few splashes of either white or yellow depending on the outfits.) Something I think a lot of people fail to realize is just how cold it would get sailing all the time. You can argue that 'it wouldn't be cold' or that 'most everyone would be used to colder wind coming off the sea', but you have to think as well that something like that wouldn't be the same case for everyone. Especially if you're on different ships. Depending on how fast the wind is moving would depend on how fast the ship moves. Sooo, Bernice wears what she does due to actual weather and temperature reasons. Thatch is obviously on the opposite end of the scale. He wears his outfit due to his work on Whitebeard's crew, doesn't have a devil fruit (Thank you, Blackbeard, for that -_- ), keeps his clothes fairly clean despite his work in the kitchen, and tends to make his hair nice. His outfit is usually themed around mostly white, but he does have some yellow in it. I'm sure you can already see where this is going, but let me geek out for a moment here. Obviously black and white are opposites on a grey scale. So you could see that much with their outfits, yeah? Now here's one better for you: yellow and purple are complementary colors on the color wheel. For those of you that aren't really art savvy, basically complementary colors are colors that sit opposite of one another on the color wheel. (Red and green are one, orange and blue are another.) Now knowing that, and knowing just how their outfits are described, do you see where I'm going with this? In short, Bernice and Thatch are an opposites attract pairing, but on a deeper level. And don't worry, for those of you that think I only themed it around the uniform Thatch wears, I did not. I'm actually going to be working on a few pieces in the near future where a lot of their outfits are themed around this idea :3

So, I haven't actually posted this anywhere else at the moment, but this is actually a design I've made for my sister's baking business. I am actually going to look into making her a few business cards as well since she does get regulars to order from her and has only been sending her information via messages. But anyways, yeah. I actually made her a much, MUCH older design before (which was towards the beginning of my schooling for my degree. So about 3-4 years ago?) and as much as she's told me that she's perfectly fine with it, I personally wasn't all too happy with how it turned out, especially with the time crunch that I was on to get it to her. So, I'm surprising her with a new logo! In my honest opinion, I think it looks A LOT better than the original one I made. It still feels a bit bare, but the problem is with it, I wanted to try and fit the things that she makes into the picture and stick to what she specializes in rather than make this huge misleading piece for people. I dunno, maybe it could've used a little more 'pop' with a few other colored sprinkles or maybe adding something on the opposite side. Either way, I'm much happier with this, and I'm sure she'll be just as happy with it as well. (And don't worry, I'm giving her a copy of the picture that doesn't have my watermark over it, I just am posting this one here to avoid art theft, lol) On another note, if you come across this and you happen to have your own small business that you'd like a logo design commissioned, please don't be afraid to reach out to me! I'm willing to negotiate pricing and the complexity of the logo!

I just wanted to share some doodles that I've had since I don't really have much in the way of art here. (And yes, I know I said that I'd take a break until the end of the year, BUT IT'S TOO HARD NOT TO DO ANYTHING DX)

Anyways, these are just a few doodles that I have in my sketchbook. I'll kind of explain the idea behind them as i put them into the post here :3

A Thatch and Bernice Doodle I plan to digitalize. (In their canon info, Bernice and Thatch do end up head over heels for one another, but neither of them admit it. So when either of the two change something about themselves, the other is obsessed with it. Like here :D)

This is a meme template I'm making...this also wasn't an excuse to draw Ivankov- (THEY'RE FUN TO DRAW, I CAN'T HELP IT!! XD)

I plan to redraw Stefan here, but this is Bernice and him more or less trying to get Thatch to give them chocolate (for obvious reasons, Stefan can't have it, but Bernice is actually allergic to it :3)
