Probably won’t do anything with this idea but hear me out…

What if Vos had visions and night terrors about his fate before the trio ever went to the Sea Temple? (About the Admin, warped versions of himself, and a strange, dark place he can’t escape.) Perhaps he tried ignoring them, but eventually told Jack who brushed it off because the Admin “isn’t real.”

The occurrences become more frequent as the Admin’s messages become cryptic and concerning. Most of his sightings of the Admin appear in his dreams, however, occasionally Romeo will visit in the daytime to mess with Vos as neither Jack nor Sammy can see him. Vos assumes he’s hallucinating from a lack of sleep and doesn’t realize that’s the actual Admin. One of Romeo’s favorite ways to unsettle Vos is through cryptic warnings: “Be seeing you. Very soon.” “One day you’ll know my face as well as I know yours.” “No one remembers I exist. But you’ll show them all.” Sometimes Vos even catches glimpses of what looks like an older version of himself with the Admin’s eyes. (Those are the visions that terrify him the most.)

His paranoia inadvertently causes a self-fulfilling prophecy when he misinterprets the obsidian prison as a mishap in the Nether. He begins avoiding Nether and cavern adventures at all costs, but jumps at the chance to explore an undersea temple… oops.

“They must have flipped it. Your skills are latent.

Oh… The desolate dirt, the raw, scorched earth. It’s a trophy of your worth.”

“This mess that you've made, it's a six-foot grave.

It's a home for your lonesome bones that remain.

We'll disappear, but you'll stay here to rot as The King of The Dark and Forgot…”

I’m officially declaring every Saturday on this blog to be Sea Temple Saturday. It will be the day of the week I set aside to post art, memes, or sh!tposts about anything relating to the Sea Temple or Vos. (I will of course be posting MCSM art and memes other days of the week, but you can always count on me posting at least one on Saturday.)
