But something gives him pause as the creature’s back hits a tree, eyes wide and shoulders shaking. The remnants of his blue fire light up the dim forest enough for Dabi to get a good luck at the thing’s face for the first time.

Red wings. Gold eyes. Blonde hair. Dabi’s mouth opens in a perfect ‘o’.

“Hawks?” He asks, aghast.

Because that’s who it is, despite the extra…mutated features that have taken Hawks neatly out of the human category and placed him among the horrific creatures that have overrun the earth. It’s not the first time Dabi’s recognized someone he used to know in one of those things, but seeing Hawks again is…jarring.

Especially considering the last time they’d met, Dabi had told him his real name and tried to burn him alive.

chaotic evil: a million blank layers with nothing on any of them

hE EVEN MAKES HIS VOICE DEEPER AND USES AN ACCENT TO SOUND COOLER WHEN HE TALKS, SOMETHING NONE OF THE OTHER PALADINS DO WHILE PLAYING  

IN CONCLUSION, SHIRO IS A NERD AND DRAMATIC AS ALL HELL IN THIS EPISODE AND I LOVE IT

(Shiro doesn’t usually get the chance to goof off or play around, so it’s nice to see him relaxing and trying to have some fun for once, even if he dies two episodes later... *cries*)
