My wife Heba, who is 27 years old, and I are doing everything we can to protect our children from the chaos that has overtaken our lives. After being forced to flee to the southern part of Gaza, we are living in a dire situation. We’ve lost all hope of returning to a normal life, as we are now without proper shelter and struggling with the most basic necessities of life.

In addition to losing our home, we are suffering from a severe shortage of food and clean drinking water. Our children sometimes go to bed without enough to eat, and we face the constant threat of hunger and thirst. Moreover, we are unable to access the medical care we desperately need. Both my wife and I require physical and mental health treatment, and our children are in urgent need of medical care, but in our current situation, getting treatment feels impossible.😭🚨💔

On top of all that, I was one of the survivors of the Baptist Hospital massacre, where we were seeking refuge. We were hit by devastating airstrikes, and I saw death with my own eyes. I survived by a miracle, but I now suffer from severe psychological trauma. It has become difficult for me to continue my life normally, and I am struggling to cope with this emotional burden while trying to stay strong for my family.

Our children are suffering too. Qusai, Jouri, and Mohammed don’t understand why their lives are filled with fear and destruction. Little Adam has never even known what safety feels like. We do our best to meet their needs, but life has become overwhelming.

This is why we are reaching out to you today. We are in desperate need of your help. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a huge difference in our lives. Hello, I am Heba Al-Anqar, 21 years old, a university student. My university was suspended due to the war. I am writing about my family: my father Bakr (54 years old), my mother Alaa (46 years old), and my sisters Aya (18 years old), Amal (15 years old), Muhammad (13 years old), and Maryam (8 years old). We have faced many challenges in this war, from the destruction of our home to the famine we continue to suffer in northern Gaza.

My father suffers from heart problems. He had open-heart surgery when he was 36 years old. He also suffers from cartilage problems. He had his pelvic joint replaced about two years ago, in addition to other health problems. He cannot work due to his health condition.

My mother also suffers from asthma and shortness of breath, in addition to the difficulty of obtaining treatment due to the conditions and the war.

We have become homeless in places of refuge, in addition to the difficulty of obtaining medicine, food, and daily expenses

I created this account to request your help in this difficult ordeal by donating to meet the necessary needs, as we were relying on social assistance before the war.

My goal is to help my family live in safety and provide the necessary necessities for living, as there is a high cost of living and difficulty in obtaining necessities. There certainly have been circumstances where ymbrynes congregate with their bird form species, normally for directions or for help, although I've never seen much being protective over peculiars, unless they are peculiar animals themselves

I've met quite a talkative raven before, whom wouldn't shut up about bird economy, so much so that Miss P had to use some spare dust from Mother Dust to get him tired enough to be quiet, birds are quite interesting creatures in my dr, especially ones of the peculiar varient

I randomly had the idea of ymbrynes with their bird feathers in their hair (Miss Peregrine would have peregrine falcon feathers in her hair, Miss Crow would have crow feathers in her hair, etc) and thought I'd share since you're a ymbryne in your dr. thoughts? :)

We normally use our feathers as quills actually! So a lot of studying ymbrynes will keep a feather tucked in her hair or behind her ear for safe keeping, you never know when you’ll suddenly need to sign important documents or need to poke a distracting student ;)

For myself, it’s a little different

as a Phoenix ymbryne, the feathers that fall off of me while in bird form will turn to ash when I come back to my (full) human form! It doesn’t count if I have my wings out still, which I can retract as a human, but once any bird features are gone, so are the feathers, they kinda just poof into dust!
