OKAY I HAVE A LOT TO SAY

first, I wish I posted a happy Halloween to everyone, but this week has been HECTIC!!! So much has happened

soooo you might be wondering, what happened?

I FUCKING SHIFTED, THATS WHAT HAPPENED. TWICE. IN TWO DAYS!!!!

I’m going to go into it for it’s own post, this is just because I’m at school and really need to write this fully because I don’t want to leave any detail out, it was so incredible

Also I will be posting more often, as I am going to be making playlists about people in my DR and showing you some more stuffs about them, as well as making a playlist that follows the plot line of MPHFPC entirely

My name is Banan. I will tell you my story with a heart full of worry and sadness, but full of hope. My story is the story of my family, consisting of 6 boys and 3 girls, but two of them got married. My family and I lived in complete comfort. We have a simple house that accommodates us, we have the most beautiful clothes, and we eat the best foods. However, my father and mother suffer from chronic diseases. I finished high school with a score of 90%, thank God Almighty. I started university and I was happy and joyful to start university in the field that I love. I paid my fees that I collected with difficulty. I only studied for two weeks. Then came the day that prevented me from completing my joy, broke me, disappointed me, and completely extinguished my life and my family’s. October 7. A new story began, and unfortunately I did not complete my studies.The journey of displacement from one place to another began. The bombing was above us and we spent it crying and fearing a lot for our children. We did not find safety in any of them. The second day of the war, we received the shocking and painful news for our hearts and my father’s heart more because he built it with his hardship and fatigue. It was the bombing of our house in which we lived for twenty years and we have many memories that we will not forget. On 10/13/2023, we were forced to move to the Deir al-Balah area in the middle of the Gaza Strip. This area will remain in our memory because we found hardship, fatigue and intense sadness there. We live in a tent in the intense heat that is filled with small insects and disgusting mice that no one can bear to live in a place like this.We suffer from the lack of water and the high prices that are beyond imagination, and other than that, the children of my family who lived their childhood in tents, war, and toilets and lined up in long lines to get bread. This is their childhood, and they are supposed to be in school, entertained and happy, and have all their needs that are lacking now. I hope that you will help me and my family in these difficult circumstances and complete my studies at the university.

Daily life in a Loopᡣ𐭩 •｡ꪆৎ ˚⋅

Hello! I thought I would post a day in the life of living in a loop, specifically the September 3rd 1940 loop located in Cairnholm, Wales 🤭

(yes I will be going into the nitty gritty and using time stamps)

7:30 am:

Wake up

Make beds

Get dressed

Head downstairs for breakfast

8:00 am:

(Each ward is assigned a day to cook meals, instead of having a seven day week we made weeks designated for the amount of wards we have in our loop, currently there are 11 (before Vic died, before Jacob arrived, and including myself))

This is how the week goes:

Day 1: Horace

Day 2: Eleanor 

Day 3: Fiona

Day 4: Emma

Day 5: Hugh

Day 6: Bronwyn

Day 7: Millard

Day 8: Enoch

Day 9: Claire

Day 10: Victor 

Day 11: Olive

9:30 am:

Breakfast is over, normally the older kids help with clean up

10:15 am:

We head out on our morning walk, usually stop off at the local library to pick up some books we are interested in for lessons

12:30 pm:

Classes begin, each class is around half an hour, we have the usual mathematics, literature, sciences, human history, health, home economics, and of course peculiar history, blending in with normals, fashion trends in the present world, how to escape from situations, and basic peculiar criteria

Each day the schedule for classes change, so we might have 3 “normal” classes and 3 peculiar classes, the next day we would have different classes etc etc

1:30pm ish:

We have a later lunch/snack

3:30pm ish:

We would finish with classes for the day and have the rest of our loop day to roam, do as we please, or work on homework and projects that we are assigned

6:30pm:

We have dinner, it normally lasts a while since we have a lot of discussions and we all work to clean up afterwards unlike breakfast

7:45pm:

We get ready for bed and come back downstairs to prepare for reset, we find it entertaining to watch and we look forward to it each day

8:30pm:

Loop reset is finished and we head inside to the living room where we read from The Tales, read our own stories (my favorite is Bronwyn’s series that she’s writing, it’s story about a human girl falling in love with a spirit of a witch, the title of the book is called Clairvoyant Love and it’s so cute) and perform our little acting skits for each other, it’s quite entertaining watching Horace and Millard act out Caesar’s death 🤭

9:30pm:

We head to our rooms, lights out is 11:30 so we can still hang with our loop mates or take showers or do basically whatever but we have to stay in the house

11:30pm:

Lights out and sleep for another day in the loop

We do have days where we don’t do classes and do training, we also have a theater class where we practice modern literature as well as practice acting like modern normals in case we have to leave the loop. We make small scripts and our Ymbrynes rate our performance based off of how susceptible we are to being caught as peculiars

Living the same day over and over again has its advantages and disadvantages, one being that you can master a lot of skills, while also battling insanity, thankfully we find ways to make life fun and exciting

It’s one of my favorite topics about my DR, since the mundane portion of my Dr is one of the main reasons I shift there, other than being with my found family, having ridiculously cool powers, and plenty of adventure for a life time, it’s nice to be able to have a schedule and relaxed time

From Dream Job to Daily Survival

For years, I was a graphic designer at Awtar Tech, a local company where I found both pride and stability in what I considered my dream job. But the ongoing conflict in Gaza has completely upended my life. My home has been bombed three times, leaving me homeless and vulnerable. The devastation is immense no food, no electricity, and nowhere that feels safe. Every day is a battle for survival, with even the most basic needs slipping out of reach.

Trapped by War, Striving for Education

The war has destroyed not just my surroundings but also the dreams I fought hard to build. My university, workspace, and aspirations were all consumed by the conflict, leaving me in desperate need of a fresh start. I graduated high school with a 91% GPA, but pursuing a fully-funded scholarship felt impossible. Every application required SAT and IELTS scores tests I couldn’t take due to the lack of centers in Gaza. Despite my relentless efforts to find alternatives, my applications remained incomplete without these scores.

A Future Out of Reach

Pursuing a university degree is essential to achieving my goals and rebuilding my life, but the costs are steep. Tuition ranges from $38,000 to $96,000, depending on the program. With these funds, I could fully focus on my studies and future career, offering a chance to restore what has been lost.

My only hope now is to escape this ongoing nightmare and find a safe place to start over. However, the financial burden is immense. The coordination fee for crossing borders alone is $7,000 per adult, and when combined with tuition and living expenses, it’s a weight I can’t bear on my own.

The first time I’ve ever created my own loop. The sparks I felt coming from my hands, my wings being in flames, seeing the world spin around me as I floated in the air. The wind whipping around me and then it all stopped. It paused, time paused for me. I looked around the once powerful waves of the Wales ocean, now still as a stone. And once I set my pocket watch back, everything went back to motion. The loop was inside of the already created 1940 loop in Cairnholm, and it spanned a few feet wide, it wasn’t much, but it was my first loop. The intense feelings of pride and excitement and exhilaration flowed through my veins like nothing else. That was the moment I felt how truly powerful I was

2. 🍅

I promised myself to never tell this to Emma, but once Abe left, Miss P would ask me to go outside the loop to check in on him at different points of his life. No normal ever saw me, as normals see me as a mourning Dove while peculiar folk see me in my white-phoenix form. I was there when Abe got married, when Franklin and Susan were born, I watched them grow up. I remember how disappointed Abe was that they weren’t peculiar, but he loved them greatly. I would report back to Miss P after every visit, she loved him as her own son and it made her happy to know he was safe and had his own family. it was years later that I went back to check in on Abe, as Miss P decided it was time to stop meddling and let him move on. But now, I left on my own reasons. I had gone to visit Abe give him hell about not answering Emma’s letters, because the week before I came to visit she had a full mental breakdown because of some shit Enoch said about Abe leaving her behind. She begged me to check in on him and to find any form of consolation. But when I got to Florida, it was 7-year old Jacob who answered the door. I was stunned, I could basically see the peculiarness fuming off of him. I introduced myself as a relative to Abe’s neighbor as to not cause suspicion. I ended up giving Abe hell later that day after hanging out with Jacob for a bit. when I got back to Cairnholm, I couldn’t allow myself to tell Emma about Jacob, after I told Emma about Abe getting married and having kids, she wouldn’t speak for months. Now if she knew he had a grandkid, I couldn’t let that happen again. It would be only until Jacob got to Cairnholm that she found out, and thankfully it went well.

3. 🍊

Of course I’m going to say the hidden part of the beach at Cairnholm. We’ve spend endless hours there, it is our go to place for every hang out, date, or party. We walk the beach twice every day, we go swimming, we practice our peculiarities without worrying there would be normals. It is our sanctuary, where we can be us, and not be confined in the house. We can breathe as we run through the thick forestry to get out to the cold waters.

THE WAY THIS MAN OH MY LAWD-

He is so sweet and gentle and funny and cute and silly and smart OH MY BIRDS HE IS SO SMART

He looks at me like I am the world in his palm, he kisses me like it’s the last thing he’ll ever do, he holds me so tight that all I can feel is our warmth and our hearts beating. I’ve never felt so much love and affection and mutual respect for another person. I could never choose one favorite part of him, because everything about him is perfect to me. Yet I understand his flaws, his own burdens, his angst, and I accept and love every bit of him. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Hello! I need medication for life to prevent my lungs from collapsing, this implies permanent treatment with steroids, oxygen therapy, control of oxygen in the blood and antibiotics to prevent the development of bacteria in the lungs.
