I really agree with the point made in the comments / reblogs about the fact that people are pissed because they can't sexualise Ellie any more because Bella looks as young as she actually is, and doesn't fit their ideals of what women should look like, and it just highlights to me one of the biggest differences between uk and USA TV: the us, especially when it comes to network shows, prioritise the women looking gorgeous to an unreal extent. It doesn't matter what the show is or is about, it doesn't matter how irrelevant a characters looks are, the actresses always have to be unrealistically pretty. And this just isn't a thing that exists in the UK the same way - the BBC has a bunch of shows about middle aged or older women, and there just isn't the same level of 'these women must look sexy'. It's super interesting to me because the shows I like that come out of the us tend to follow the UK way much more, like in the last of us. The women aren't expected to be pretty because it's the fucking apocalypse, and they have bigger priorities.
also Bella is great and I will fight anyone who says mean things
If I see one more Bella Ramsey hate post I’m going to riot.
BeLlA dOeSnT eVeN lOoK lIkE eLlIe.
Man fuck. Off.
Tbh they genuinely do in my opinion but besides all of that. Bella’s acting is insane they did that part so unbelievably well. It’s funny that out of all the cast ( in which a few are notably not like their game counterparts) Bella is the only one people bring up CONSTANTLY
just grow up my god

okay but imagine everything that could've been avoided if Paul and feyd had just done this, it's not like Paul or Leto Jr. (Leto II? no idea) actually cared about their political marriages anyway
The Bene Gesserit: All these years of careful planning wasted. The Duke's child was meant to be a girl and marry Feyd-Ruatha, uniting the Houses of Harkonnen and Atriedes.
Feyd: yeah but like where's the problem?
Bene Gesserit:
Feyd: I mean I'm not gay but I'll fuck him if that will keep you all quiet for five minutes.

💐 once you receive this lovely bouquet of flowers you have to mention five things you love, publicly, and send it to 10 of your favorite followers if you want. SPREAD POSITIVITY! ⛅️
Hope you’re having a beautiful day 💛
five things I'm loving at the moment!
1) nice tea! I'm living in Spain this year and the tea situation here is dire frankly
went home over Christmas and had good loose leaf tea (my partner and I drank a lot of a vanilla tea blend that was delightful) but frankly also a cup of decent earl grey is wonderful
2) cats! here are some photos of mine and my partners I took while back in the uk
3) good food - I love cooking and I find it relaxing. My faves are risotto and lots of Indian veggie curries
4) online communities for things people are passionate about! Fandom is wonderful and full of incredibly supportive people especially as I've been easing back into writing, but also online communities for people with same weird disability as me which has helped me learn how to handle it better
5) lego flowers!!! the combination between lego (wonderful, delightful, extremely calming) and flowers (beautiful) is great especially with the lack of pollen. I have both the flower bouquets combined in my room and they look so good, even if they do desperately need a dust rn
Melanie: I can't kill you now we've saved the train together. It'd be against my moral compass.
Layton: Your moral compass is a fucking roulette wheel
