“What exactly did she say?”

“I’m telling you bats she just went ‘Questions cost extra’ and then the two of them just disappeared into thin air!!” Arsenal couldn’t fucking believe this, they had been talking in circles for five minutes. The girl left Roy feeling off balance, she creeped him out. There he said it she creeped him the fuck out! A part of him was so unsettled by her all he wanted to do was shoot both those fuckers and be done with it. Then he pushed that unpleasantness down and looked again. All he saw was a tired tired kid. Had he ever been that tired as Speedy? Now he was pushing all those feelings down again because now he didn’t want to kill her or sympathize with her, he guessed some part of being a father had made him weak, now all he wanted were answers!!

Tim was begging to grow worried for Bruce Batman. It was clear to Tim that he was spiraling, understandably, all security forage in the watchtower had come up as static. Glitching widely, the best picture they could capture was of the floor covered in fire Konstelacios metallic boots in the corner. There were no leads; no ancient murals, crumbling statues or off handed anecdotes in a dead man’s journal. Nothing. And according to the team on dragon watch duty there were possibly even more threatening players involved. A group of people strong enough to take down a villain that thwaped Superman like a fly. It was unnerving for Tim, which only meant it must be driving Bruce Batman up a wall. Tim worried.

All of her brothers ran about packing their things, “See I told you she’d be back! She’s fine.” Konstelacio didn’t bother to check which one of them had spoken, it hardly mattered.

“I’m heading down to the lab, I need to use the portal.” No one answered as she took Aragons hand and descended the steps.

Also Danny can read Tim like an open book, he knows when Tim actually wants to stop and when he is playing hard to get on purpose to rile up his ghost side.

Jason of course knows none of this, so when he breaks into Titans tower ready to beat the shit out of the new robin and is confronted with seeing tim (and wow jason was not expecting the guy to look so small, so young. Jason doesnt hurt kids what was he thinking) pinned in place under a guy neck bleeding purfusly… a part of him smirks. See! See! He was right! He didn’t even have to do anything and the new robin was going to die. Maybe bruce will finally learn!

But then Tim shakes pushing against the other lightly and Jason figures this is it the replacement is actually going to die. And he feels conflicted, this isnt his problem but he also doesnt want anymore dead birds on his mind. However the kid is probably as good as dead with all that blood loss. (He’s not as Dannys saliva or whatever heals as much as he takes). He’s going to leave let the bat stew in his own stupidity for failing another kid again.

But then Tim’s arms get pushed down and the strangers hand starts its way under the kids shirts and /up/.

And Jason sees GREEN!

And then Danny grabs Tim and runs because fuck this noise he isnt letting anyone hurt tim!

Ps this idea would also be funny if it takes place a little after the tower because then Danny really would have a reason to not trust jason and jason would have all the more reason to be protective of tim

Cujo wriggled excitedly in his arms, tightening the leash wrapped around Danny’s wrist. “This dog?” Danny freed his other hand to point at Cujo emphatically, cartoonishly looking around the deserted alleyway as if the sword swinging child might have been mistaken. “Are you sure? You can have my wallet, it has 15 cents and a Bat Burger punch card, only one more visit for a free side!” “Don’t be absurd.” “Yeah, I heard you used to get a free combo. Punch cards aren’t what they used to be.” The edge of the blade pressed into Danny’s throat, Cujo jumped down and Danny raised his hands placatingly, keeping the leash out of reach of the would-be petnapper. “I’m afraid I can’t do that, what kind of person would let someone take their dog?” The kid’s face softened slightly at that, and Danny took the opportunity to swat the sword away, scoop up Cujo, and run. “STOP!” Danny kept running. Faintly, he heard the click of a device, but no one pursued him. It was a good thing too. He lied about the punch card.

Green Arrow, Black Canary, martian Marnhunter and a gaggle of side kicks were probably not the best group to be handling a dragon. A dragon none of them could touch, it would just go threw everything. Especially arrows.

“I’m just a guy with some arrows I didn’t ask for all this magic and monsters nonsense.”

Arsenal snickered, “Its actually called Dungeons and Dragons Ollie.”

“I hate all of you.”

For now the dragon was sleeping, laid out the sand puffing smoke out of his nose. Having decided not to go threw with his threat of burning everything to ashes. If Ollie was being generous the monster almost seemed… depressed. Giving up his fight half heartedly, the beast had knocked Superman out of the air! He could definitely beat them but the dragon only stared at Arrow before grumbling deciding to nap, “What’s the point ? You humans are going to light yourselves on fire anyway.”

That was over an hour now and everyone sans the Marians were starting to grow jumpy. Inviting Constantine was always a headache, and the plan to collect help seemed down right batshit insane. But it wasn’t on Oliver so what could he do? He was just a guy with arrows.

Konstelacio felt shaky in a sad way, she knew this speech. “That’s not how therapy works Aragon, you know that.”

“She’s right,” Black Canary stepped up. It was obvious the two beings knew each other and one of them was hurting. She approached softly, she was also the only one that could land a hit on this thing- even if she had to resort to ruining her voice. In case she was wrong she needed to be close enough to push the girl away.

The behemoth roared, “What would you know human!” Aragon snarled claws snapping around the girl!

Covering her, protecting her. Oh.

“Oh what did they do this time? Did they hurt you?”

Aragons neck rose, “As if these puny mortals could land a blow on the might Prince Aragon!”

“Ex Prince.”

“Gggrrrr!”

“Ether talk to me or let’s go home. You know we’re not supposed to be here.”

Aragon hummed looking down on the heroes, Arsenal hated it.

“It’s all gone.”

“I understand suddenly being underwater must have been really scary for a fire user.” She missed the ocean… she the ancient ships not so much. “But why didn’t you come back afterwards! Honestly! I was starting to get worried -“

So we all know of Dan's whole planetary annihilation in the past leading to heroes from the future showing up to stop him, right?

Well I'm gonna take that and tweak it a bit.

Time Traveling Hero goes back in time, sees Dan talking to a ghost informing him that the High Queen has finally allowed him back into the Royal Castle and he says "Can't wait." With a nasty smile.
