PostTS Luffy realizes how Zoro blames himself for not being strong enough and weak. Not that he speaks about it but they never needed to speak out loud to know what the other thinks and feels. Even after he brings victory after victory to them it's still the same. Luffy thought Zoro would know how he appreciates him and never would blame him for something like that. But perhaps this is one of those rate times where he should speak his mind out loud to Zoro. So he starts to praise how amazing Zoro's moves were, how cool he looked, how proud he is to have him. That would lighten Zoro's heart and bring a smile to his face.
I remembered the song...
Recalling gave me a thought. 💭 I acted upon it. ✍️
happy new year eve ! ! !
One of rare moments where Luffy is seated is when Zoro goes to him and hug his waist, press his face to Luffy's chest and nap there. Zoro started to do this after their reunion. Whenever they got separated and didn't see each other for a while, Zoro would do this when the whole crew came together on their ship, their home. To feel Luffy and know there isn't a thousand miles of ocean between them. (Luffy realized he never did it when they were together and others were far away from them, where they couldn't know if they were safe or not. Zoro would only do it when everyone is on his sight, on ship, that's when he would allow himself to relax enough to do that) Those are the rare times Luffy doesn't move for a few hours. Just like now. He was laying down on the floor of the ship with Zoro on top of him, his hand on Zoro's head, patting it while Zoro's face was pressed to his chest and sleeping soundly. Luffy likes those moments so much. Zoro isn't shying away and doesn't see it as a weakness and comes to him on his own accord.
He looked down when Zoro sighed. He giggled, Zoro would always give some type of reaction when Luffy's hands touched his ears and Luffy was having fun with every different reaction he could get from him. So like little shit he is, his hand stayed close to Zoro's ears and started to stroke the tip of his ears. It got red as always, very quickly too. Zoro grunted and made a satisfied sigh when Luffy stroked the ear between his fingers. Zoro pinched Luffy's sides to make him stop but he could see Zoro's smile so rubber user stretched his head out and kissed the corner of his lips and lay back down with a giggle. Luffy didn't mind staying still like this.
+Bonus: sometimes other strawhats would join them too. Franky would sit by Luffy's side so his thigh would touch Zoro's biceps, Brook would play a song by their side while Robin would read something with her soothing voice. Nami would use Zoro's back as a pillow and Usopp would be playing with Zoro's hair alongside Luffy. Sanji would lean over whatever would be close and their shoes would be touching while Chopper is between Zoro's arm and Luffy's chest. Jimbei would sit beside Robin and watch them with a smile.
The whole way down to fishman island, zoro and luffy are attached at the hip and eagerly attempting to show off their cool new moves to eachother and i think that’s neat.
something that haunts me is how kuraigana island is an extension of thriller bark. the general aesthetic, the darkness, the hostile environment, even perona’s presence. kuraigana island is thriller bark.
zoro spent two years surrounded by reminders of his sacrifice, he left thriller bark only to return to it. his timeskip was a horrible twin to the place he barely escaped alive from.
in an eerie castle of stone walls, exactly the same. helpless in a gloomy wood just as he had been so shortly before. zoro looked out of his window to rubble and forest, thinking of luffy’s pain. he looked to the sea, past the island’s confines, and could only think about how he wasn’t able to stop luffy’s suffering this time, he failed, unable to get to him at marineford. he looked to the mist and yearned for his captain, the sun, unsure if there was even an end to the fog at all.
zoro having nightmares about kuma, about thriller bark, only to wake up in its uncanny lookalike; unsure whether he had even woken up, whether he had ever left, still wrapped in the bandages of his sacrifice.
and then he spent each day being taught by the man that until thriller bark had caused him the most agony, that he lost to. a personally curated island of his weakness, sacrifices, pain and shame. while i’m sure it motivated him to get stronger, it equally must’ve been an indescribable torture. surrounded by trauma and his fated enemy.
zoro, the proud man he is, threw down his swords in front of kuma and begged that day, vulnerable and desperate, anything for his captain. and he put his swords on the ground and got on his knees in front of mihawk exactly the same.
the parallels between thriller bark and kuraigana island are unapologetic and constant. what a horror zoro’s timeskip must’ve been.
So... I found this amazing hermitcraft au by @the-twilight-forest and the first page is a doodle of grian and iskall, and then some fanart of a one shot.
The second photo is just a head cannon that if grian gets a little out of hand they bring one of his parrots (yes he has multiple, change my mind), a jukebox, and a few music discs and grian just watches the dancing parrot.
I'm sorry for the crappy quality these are very late doodles I had to draw to show my love for this au!
i know zoro has thoughts that he doesn’t deserve everything he has, then suddenly he has a bigger and more human sized worry to think about, coming his way at approximately 50mph
So here is what you need to do to drag this article down.
1. Spread the word
I can’t stress this enough. The more attention this gets the more people we can get to take this down.
2. Make your own content
Make your own content on the matter and make sure it is clear to others that Article 13 is bad for every internet user involved.
3. If you live anywhere in Europe, contact your MEPs
Ask them if they approve of the article and why. If they do approve of it, try to convince them in a clear, reasonable, and most sensible way possible that this law is BAD.
Here’s a video on Article 13 that Film Theory made on the matter. It will explain things better than I can.

I've been thinking that every time Inosuke is in the forest, he sees a resemblance to Tanjiro in the usual gifts of the forest
