Ok but can i write this because it's a really good idea
I want more Dark!Simon Lewis fics. I want a dark, twisted morally grey, possibly insane murder happy Simon. Fics where he sees merit in Camilles ideals, where he's done with the crap the 'shadowhunter' put him through with out any recognition. Fics where he's a demon, or a serial killer. Make him be a solo act badass, or make him have a partner in crime, Saia, Sizzy, Jimon, Simon/ Jonathon, I DON'T CARE. All they others get these AU( Alec, Magnus, Clary ect.), Simon has more greater demon kills then the rest of the group combined, Lilith, Abbadon, the whole Azazel thing.He got an angel to listen to him. Asmodues has his immortal life force!! I want fic where they change up his curse and Asmoudes uses him to raise Lucifer or something. Lilith and Camille both sought him out directly in there attempt at power, I'm tired of him being portrayed as a tag along, he literally carried the team through out the dark war! He watched someone he though of as his brother die, and everyone just kinda brushes over it like it didn't matter!! I want that backlash, this is the guy who THREATENED an actual angel! He doesn't just tag along and get kidnapped. The entire shadow world just kinda treats him like the weak link, when he's not! Remember, he went through the entire mortal instrument without an once of formal training, and still killed THE MOTHER OF DEMONS, beat Jace in CoLS, figured out how to survive Edom, killed abbadon on Day 1. Even Alec says he goes undervalued. I want more BAMF Simon fics. Simon Lewis people, appreciate him.
simon lewis is his own pov is so funny because I was rereading the scene of him summoning Raziel and the way he's like "oh I don't know how introduce myself because I'm just Some Guy who has no titles or great deeds to his name :/" DUDE YOU KILLED LILITH?????????
can we all just collectively agree that simon lewis went through so much shit? (like so much shit). like bro got turned down by his long-time crush, got kidnapped as a rat, turned into a vampire, became a daylighter, was always on the run from someone trying to kill him, got the fucking mark of cain (!!!), had to face a full-on angel, got sent to hell and on top of that lost all his memories of everyone he loved. DUDE DESERVES A STANDING OVATION.
Why is everybody just ignoring dilf Simon???? Is no one seeing absolute dilf Simon Lovelace but me???
WHO IS IGNORING HIM? WHOM? WHOMST? SHOW ME! I WILL FIGHT THEM FOR THIS CRIME.
Thoughts on the mundanes simon knew looking at simon post shadowhunters academy? His old friends, the tmi band? Someone outside of his old group?
i feel like eric, kirk, and matt would view the differences in a similar way to how they viewed his vampire glow up. less surprised and more impressed, and they would definitely use his tattoos and new musculature as fodder for their friendly banter lol but i also think they would have been teasing him about him coming back from the military academy all buff before he even left for it (and maybe make fun of him for going through two years of training and not becoming more buff than he does hehe lovingly and jokingly of course). tho the tattoos were definitely a badass surprise.
[insert side discussion about whether simon tells the band about being a shadowhunter despite the rules bc (a) he remembers their reaction to his downworlder status, (b) the origins of their band name, (c) the reality of them playing at the pandemonium club ...]
the thing is too, it's not just the physicality. i've said before that i don't think simon's thin frame would allow him to become properly buff, and i don't think that's the thing people will notice right away. they may attribute it to that, like the barista at java jones might do a double take when he sees simon walk in for the first time since returning to brooklyn, or some girls from st. agnes might gossip about it if they see him at a tmi show or in the neighborhood or something, but i really think the biggest difference comes in the way he holds himself. the confidence he's gained, the shit he's seen. hell i mean.. it's not just the shadowhunter academy that he's been through when he comes back, it's also all the fucked up shit that happened in fall of 2007 and the brutal death of his best friend. boy's been through it. and how can that not show? especially toward the beginning. when he's grappling with returned memories and grief. but he's also so much more sure of himself than he was before. he has solid girlfriend and when he talks to people, there's an air of authority or belonging that wasn't there before. the shadowhunter traits that make them so easy to pick out in a crowd.
Hey, if you're a part of the tsc fandom then reblog with your comfort character(s)

Jace being so randomly over protective Simon is sooo funny to me because Simon did NOT ask for that 😭😭
Like in GOTSM when Lily was talking abt how Simon bit Jace badly and Jace was like “he did great actually 🤬🤬🤬” or city of fallen angels when Simon was like “I have a roommate” and Jace was like “I’ll fight him” and Simon was like “…okay…”
Jace;
something about Thule!Simon that I feel like we don't talk about enough (and I really hope gets brought up in canon) is that he's partially to blame for Thule existing at all. like he's not just this tragic passive figure who lost everyone he loves and is now doomed to roam forever alone, he's like. directly responsible for that happening. there is no Thule without Sebastian and there is Sebastian without Simon. because when he was presented with the choice between protecting the world or protecting Clary, he choose Clary. only in the end he doomed both the world and Clary, and everyone else he cared about.
also related to this is his last encountered with Janus, where he said something along the lines of "I'll kill you, Jace Herondale." but it's clearly not a threat he's ever followed through on. and the significance of the fact that all along killing Jace would have prevented everything. if Jace wasn't alive, he couldn't be the bargaining chip for Sebastian's life. if they had let the Clave kill Jace in order to kill Sebastian, there would have never been a war or an apocalyptic end of the world. Simon raised the angel Raziel in order to find a solution that would have saved Jace's life, and all that accomplished was him handing Clary a sword and her promptly getting killed for it. only after, when it's far far too late, is Simon willing to kill Jace. which again, he still didn't do because Janus is still alive, so maybe after everything Simon still can't do it. he still can't kill Jace Herondale.
