You know when Captain Marvel get exposed for being a ten-year old, most of the time the JL members became uncharacteristically ‘Mean’, but tbf they are literally just a team of confuse adults handling an equally confuse ten year old in an unfamiliar situation, where they are definitely not equipped to handle. (Say all you want about Batman knowing the truth, he still is as lost as the other heroes, hence his lack of action. )

Than again, ten year olds are rather petty (most of the time atleast), so a team of confuse adults dealing with a petty ten year old is a rather fun recipe that would lead anyone trying to follow said recipe into a morbit disarray.

When in doubt, all you need is a qualified adult to swoop in and save the day :D

(Right, let’s just throw gasoline into a wild fire, that would definitely stop it. I mean when there is nothing left to burn the fire would probably stop….Eventually!)

.

In the midst of the meeting..

Billy: That’s it! What we need is an intervention from an experienced adult!

Hal: But we are adults?

Billy: ಠಿ_ಠ

….

Billy: Just call your guardians.

So there it is, one afternoon, up in space where most hero resides in the watchtower. If you try to peek through a really small hole (or use your x-ray vision)… There was..

An aging butler, two retired farmers, a literal Goddess, a (The) Wizard and other member’s parentual / guardian figure argueing in a large room about the validity of a ten-year old superhero.

Bonus:

Superman rushed to Kansas frantically searching for another set of clothing to give to his parents once he found out (to his horror) that his parents had decided to wear his merch, up to the watch tower lol.

Que a montage where most of the heroes’ parents decided to tell embarrassing stories about their children, much to the dismay of said hero ( and much to the joy of Billy. )

Clockwork sees how stressed Danny is from trying to be the goodest boy and never do anything remotely bad that could turn him evil and thinks he may have overdone it. At this rate his panic over never doing anything evil is going to force him to emotionally burn out and stop caring. Then he'll turn evil anyway.

So Clocky does something that sounds completely ridiculous in theory. He scoops Danny up and drops him into a universe full of superheros and villains and tells him to "Do whatever you want. There will be no consequences for you." Then he leaves.

And just like that, Danny goes apeshit. He decides to do the one thing he always wanted to do but was too afraid to because he didn't want to be judged, or worse, forced to join his parents.

He becomes a supervillian. Not as Phantom, no. But as Fenton! He goes full super genius mad scientist and terrorizes whatever city he's in. The local superhero is being driven insane as Danny builds death rays, shrink rays, his own modified version of the GAV, ect.

The best part if that the local heros can never catch him for long and when he is caught he always escapes before he is transported to whatever facility they wanted him in. He always ends up back in his home dimension where he goes back to acting normal and no one from either human dimension or the Infinite Realms knows what he's up to (except the stop watch of course)

After a particularly fun day in which Danny highjacks all broadcasting services to teach everyone in the world how to make insulin at home so you didn't have to pay a ridiculous amount for necessary medication, the Justice League was now on his tail.

Danny just laughs, thinking there's no way they'd ever be able to arrest him. Little does he know some guy calling himself Batman is leading the mission and he has no intention of arresting him. Danny, much to his horror, becomes far to familiar with adoption papers. As in he keeps having to set them on fire.

There's a Mr Wight Hood to see you? (DC x DP)

Sorry my hyperfixation du jour switched for a week there. Hope my dc x dp homies are still here.

Anyways, hope other people are also interested in thinking about Jason Todd arriving in Gotham to do his big, convoluted "see if Daddy still loves me" plan. Then nearly immediately stumbling across baby Danny. How or why he was de-aged isn't super important but he's BABY and he's injured. Maybe he has that all-important fanon vivisection scar.

Danny calms the pit with his loving baby heart, Jason decides the pit has been calmed by the Power of Fatherhood. He adopts Danny, ghosts Talia and sets up a new life. He gets a job as a barista - his thorough training meaning he's flawless under pressure and he remembers every order.

He's raising Danny himself when Talia catches up to them. Whether she means them harm or not, she freaks out Jason. Danny transforms as a defence mechanism and blasts her with his powers. Jason is flipping out but determined to still care for Danny as best as he can.

And it all goes alright until someone who wants to hurt Danny picks up on his now 'unlocked' ectoplasmic signature. They snatch him from the babysitters while Jason is at work. (Freakshow, Vlad, GIW, The Fentons, someone else)

The babysitter calls him at work crying hysterically.

Jason doesn't feel frantic, he feels calm. He takes out the unfinished Red Hood uniform - still devoid of colour or a bat symbol. He puts it on. He walks to the nearest zeta beam and puts himself on the watchtower. In space. During a debrief being held for another case.

"I know the names, and weaknesses of every hero on this space station. My son was kidnapped. You're going to help me find him or I will burn all your worlds to the ground."

Please read Six Feet Under the Stars by @kadaransmuggler!! (⭐Link is live now!⭐Link won’t be live until @mebigbang unviels it!)

This is an AU story where a (custom) Ryder stays in the Milky Way, forming a relationship with Kaidan Alenko. I have to say that this is ultimately a love story between the two, and the quiet times they spend together just being are really nice! 😊

So thank you @kadaransmuggler for writing such lovely scenes, because the one of them on the observaton deck is seriously one of my favourite illustrations ever, and I would never have drawn it without you! 💕

Banshee Star

When Ember asked him to be her duet at a concert, Danny didn't think it was a good idea, but the ghost insisted and said she was sure he had a very good voice. In the end the halfa accepted, and they passed off their ghostly appearance as some kind of exotic make-up. They were Phantom and Ember, "Ghost Stars".

Oddly enough, that was how Danny discovered that his voice was...strangely good for singing. The people around him seemed vaguely hypnotized before Ember snapped them out of said state with a solo on her guitar. People said it was an amazing experience.

Danny decided to accept more of the ghost invitations and in a very short time they had become very popular musicians - they even toured! but when they were passing through Gotham, they were stopped by the dark knight.

Batman was very concerned about the mind control he had noticed at several concerts and decided to confront the source. It was best to thwart their plans before they happened. His sons were not convinced about his deductions.

i love battinson sm for many reasons & boy oh boy i want my autistic baby jason & autistic legend bruce bonding

Danny has an Ice Core.

He isn't aware of it, but this does, in fact, greatly influence how his ghost form looks as he grows up.

His appearance starts getting more rugged, eyes a paler, more piercing green, hair a bit more uncontrollable and wild.

He packs muscle easily, even in human form.

When in ghost form, he has an aura of something patient and dangerous, and that sense only grows the older he gets.

Basically, our boy starts to look like a viking.

No matter how goofy and bumbling he really is, his first impression is always a horrifying moment for whoever is meeting him.

And as his ghost form grows with his human form, he outgrows his hazmat outfit. Frostbite and the Far Frozen fashion him some new clothes-which only compliment and play off of the viking aesthetic he's got going on.

And with the height he inherited from his father?

Our man is a very, very intimidating figure to look at. More so than Dan; because while Dan was dangerous and scary, he was all energy and lightning and rage.

Adult Danny comes across as lethal and terrifying, all ice and persistence and that final, terrible silence before you realize you've already died.

Dan felt like the warrior in front of you. Danny feels like the wilderness in winter, vast and unforgiving.

Anyways, when a summoning for Klarion goes horribly wrong and Danny gets called instead, the Justice League has a moment where they're convinced they've summoned something much, much worse than Klarion.

And Danny, standing there completely confused, is not helping by remaining silent and still while staring John Constantine in the eye.

Good news, the bad guys are also very concerned about the weird ghost viking and are actually moving to stand side by side with the Justice League on this.

Bad news, who the fuck is this guy?

"...Fuck," is all Constantine whispers, backing away slowly.

Got another DP x DC prompt for yall:

Things in Amity are going bad, the GIW are getting more aggressive and Jack and Maddie are starting to suspect there is something ghostly going on with Danny and Jazz is scared out of her mind and desperate to get them the hell out or dodge before she comes home one day to find her baby brother strapped to a table in the basement or worse.

She knows there's no way she's going to be able to get custody of Danny though (maybe she's still a minor herself, maybe she is over eighteen but it takes more than being a legal adult to get custody of a kid, and Jazz just doesn't have what the government is looking for and she can't risk Danny getting lost in the system) and even if she could, where could they possibly go? Even if they ran away, they don't have any way to survive.

Half out of her mind with stress and exhaustion late one night she ends up digging through their family tree looking for someone, anyone, that looks like they might be able to help, that could at least get them away from Amity Park if nothing else. She and Danny had each other, and literally anything was better then the nightmare creeping ever closer.

And somehow it doesn't even take that long, maybe luck finally shifting their way for once, maybe Clockwork nudging things along just right, but she finds someone.

As far as family relations go, they're on branches as far away from each other as possible while still being on the same tree. And of course the person in question has a pretty massive criminal background and is still super obviously involved in some shady stuff, but Jazz does her research and can see that - criminal mastermind or no - there's no history of vivisecting children or ghost hunting and honestly the Goonion review is pretty glowing.

Besides, Gotham's ambiant ectoplasm is about the same as Amity Park's, it'll help keep Danny (and her, really, as liminal as she is) healthy.

It's a long shot, but short of fleeing to the Ghost Zone and praying their parents don't chase after them, it's all she’s got. So, using one of Tucker's programs, she gets ahold of a phone number and makes the call.

To say that Oswald Cobblepot is surprised by her reaching out and suspicious of her desperate request would be an under statement.

But he knows a con, and this doesn't sound like one. The girl on the other end of the line sounds close to tears, begging him to hear her out, pleading for his help. When he has his people investigate he finds that Jasmine Fenton isn't lying. They are distant cousins - very distant - and the kids' parents are honestly Arkham levels of insane and the kids' teachers have been getting progressively more frantic in their reporting on their concerns. The notes on Daniel Fenton and the number of visible injuries he's been going to school with are particularly concerning. As is the fact that the Drs. Fenton are apparently scientists on top of being entirely mad.

Call Oswald a soft touch, but there's an old childhood wound deep in his heart that has him feeling for the kids, and from what he’s seen of Jasmine - Jazz, she said to call her, and her little brother is Danny, not Daniel - she's got the kind of drive he admires.

And hell it's not as if he can't afford to put them up in an apartment somewhere out of the way if they turn out to be too much trouble. Besides adopting a couple of sad kids from a shitty home can only be good for his reputation, look how well it worked for Bruce Wayne.

Maybe if he plays his cards right, he can set up a play date with the Wayne kids or something, really get some good networking in.
