Please do tag me! It’s the one way I don’t feel annoying for talking about my work.
could you please reblog this if you’re okay with being tagged in tag games?
Reblog this, and I’ll send you one.

one of the reasons why "what if people went on a road trip and it was weird" is one of the oldest story types is that a lot of sense of personhood has been, historically, tied to place. the weird road trip says "what if we went somewhere else, where no one knows us, and tried out being a different person".
Odysseus, the famous liar, goes on a weird road trip & over the course of it becomes several different people, and then comes home & is all those people as well as himself, wearing the echoes of those other people

‘Cause sometimes the stories of how OCs come to be are just as interesting as the OCs, themselves. Tell me how your virtual kids came into the world.
What was the first element of your OC that you remember considering (name, appearance, backstory, etc.)?
Did you design them with any other characters/OCs from their universe in mind?
How did you choose their name?
In developing their backstory, what elements of the world they live in played the most influential parts?
Is there any significance behind their hair color?
Is there any significance behind their eye color?
Is there any significance behind their height?
What (if anything) do you relate to within their character/story?
Are they based off of you, in some way?
If they have an LI, how much of their character is tailored to be compatible to that person?
Did you know what the OC’s sexuality would be at the time of their creation?
What have you found to be most difficult about creating art for your OC (any form of art: writing, drawing, edits, etc.)?
How far past the canon events that take place in their world have you extended their story, if at all?
If you had to narrow it down to 2 things that you MUST keep in mind while working with your OC, what would those things be?
What is something about your OC can make you laugh?
What is something about your OC can make you cry?
Is there some element you regret adding to your OC or their story?
What is the most recent thing you’ve discovered about your OC?
What is your favorite fact about your OC?
Oh my, thank you so much!! This drawing is beautiful. You have captured him so well, he looks exactly as I imagined him. The colour scheme is lovely, those gold and green shades fit the aesthetic I had in mind. And since his last name is Sun, ‘golden boy’ is perfect! ^^. Thanks so much again for using your time and art to make this.
A golden boy for @everywriterneedsfanart!

Me [falling off the stairs in public]: performance art
I was tagged by the lovely @create-and-procrastinate to answer some questions about me. Thank you!
Relationship Status: All by myself (cue dramatic music)
Chapstick or Lipstick: I like lipstick. I should wear it more often!
Favorite Colors: Soft, light blue, ocean blue and deep red. L
ast Movie I Saw: Palo Alto, based on stories by James Franco. It has a great atmosphere that completely pulled me into it.
Top 3 TV Shows: The last three I watched are Black Sails (all four seasons at once), The End of the F***ing World (this is so weird and so good) and Dark (not yet finished, but quite entranced).
Top 3 Bands/Artists: I can't choose all time favorites, but right now I'm listening to Death Cab for Cutie, The Bear's Den and Sleeping at Last.
Books I’m Currently Reading: I'm reading Wuthering Heights for university and I just finished The Picture of Dorian Grey (which I adored), so I'm into classics right now!
Tagging @concealeddarkness13, @authorisada, @theimpossiblescheme and @siljehawthorne. Don’t do it if you don’t feel like it!
This blog will combine three things I love dearly: writing, talking about writing, and aesthetics. So if you have an amazing OC for which you crave an aesthetic moodboard or Instagram page - tell me all about them, and I will make you one! After all, every writer needs fanart.
