In one of my dnd sessions one of the players was trying to figure out how to read a compass and rolled a nat 1 so he forgot what a compass was even tho he made it and dropped it and broke it

player in my party:(stabs his short sword into a cultist and drags it up pulls it out of the cultist with a stone heart on the end of it mortal kombat style)

Dm: do you want to throw it at one of the cultist or keep it or give it to someone

Player:give it to someone

Me: can I have it

(He gave it to me and now its in a jar in my inventory)

Maybe nobody talks about it because its TOO obvious, or maybe not obvious enough. But I cant get over how Max Jaegerman has a genuine crush on Grace Chastity, to the point where he laughs at her jokes, tries to flatter her, and gets all pissed at his bros for calling her a nerd. And she ironically only likes him for his body.
