that's right folks we're doing it again!! starting on the first of October, it's: Monkie Destiny Challenge 2024: VS Edition!!

Here's how it's gonna work, for each day, there are two prompts. Which prompt gets filled the most will determine whether Chaos or Balance wins that day, and in the end it will all be added up to find out which one was the over all winner!

So it's a little bit like artfight, except there aren't really teams. You can switch back and forth depending on which prompts you like.

Thoughts

Hawks- Distorted Reflections Hawks- smiles a lot. He's nearly constantly grinning or smiling in some sort of way. It's nearly impossible to tell if it's real or not- not even Hawks' sidekick, Echo (His AU's Shoto Todoroki), or his trainee, Tsukuyomi can really tell.

Until you see him genuinely smile, catching him off guard. Until you hear him laugh without controlling it, when you somehow manage to catch him when he hasn't got his guard up.

His smiles light up his face, usually prompted by a small fluster he hides beneath his hand or presses his jacket over his face to do so. But nothing hides the crinkle in the corner of his irises, the way his eyes soften and his irises shine.

His laughter isn't exactly pretty. The usual chuckle you get is gone, replaced by a wheezing, chirp-infused giggling mess. His wings go all fluffy despite his excellent control of them, tears of mirth appearing in the corners of his eyes as he fights to get himself under control. He covers his mouth with his jacket afterwards, wings twitching and fluttering softly as his shoulders still silently shake.

You can't go back from seeing that. Once you have, you'll always be able to see, clearly, whether his smiles or laughter is actually, really true.

Or if it's just another part to his ever-expanding mask.
