Hmm! Interesting!
Personally, I think Loki would win; magic and all, but still. Thank you all for participating! :)
A friend and I were talking about crack headcanons and shit, and one of them just-
“Scarecrow is secretly a pro at freestyle rap and can do it incredibly fast.” “There’s definitely been a point in time where Joker got styled on by his rap skills in a hilarious fashion.”
And now, days later, I still can’t stop thinking about it-
When I was bullied in school, they usually focused on me being ugly, the things I made being ugly (being an artist), my love of fantasy and mythology, or me being weird/stupid.
With that in mind, I’m honestly not sure. Most rogues/villains are at least smart, lol. So, if we’re talking which already existing villain/rogue I’d be, I’m kind of stumped. (Though, to be fair, what I lack is scholarly intelligence. Not cleverness.) Maybe, depending on the version, Mad Hatter? I don’t think so though.
However, if we’re talking about who would I be in a more ‘original character’ sense... The first thing that came to mind is some kind of Rumpelstiltskin or Cheshire cat-themed character. Idk, I think it kind of fits. (Or maybe that’s just my recent hyperfixation on Once upon a time and Alice in wonderland talking, who knows?)
So everyone, if this was the DCU, what kind of villain/rouge would you be based on what you’ve been bullied for as a kid?
If anyone says they’d be a hero you’re BLOCKED!
Your daily reminder that I will never accept TR, IW and Loki show as canon not only because of retcon of the original storyline, but also because all of them completely ignored THIS:
Also: cryokinesis and levitating were unfortunately never shown on-screen, and the most of his powers were shown for a few seconds and usually is just made fun of in TR and LS.
(And he is literally a genius. Not only in magic but in ANY KIND OF TECHNOLOGY. And they just forgot about it)
Every single time I read something with the lantern rings speaking, I always imagine the red and yellow rings sounding like the Mysterons from Captain Scarlet.
I have absolutely no idea why, that’s just the voice my mind gave to them.
And in case you don’t know what they sound like...
-After being bit by the spider and discovering he had powers, he devoted hours of time to researching spiders online. Mostly trying to find out what species it was, if he suddenly would end up being allergic to vinegar, etc. (Fun fact: Vinegar is actually harmful to spiders.) This ended up in him being dragged into the spider side of youtube (Tarantula care videos for example.), leading to him slowly but surely becoming a spider fanatic.
Ask him to list a random fun fact about any spider species and he’ll name five off the top of his head. Show him a picture of a random spider and there’s a good chance he’ll be able to identify it. Ask him how to care for a very specific type of tarantula and he’ll be able to tell you everything, from the best insects to feed it, to how often you should clean its enclosure.
-Peter once bought chocolate covered crickets online. He figured it’d be neat just to see. He ate the first cricket, expecting it to be disgusting. ...Immediately he was hooked. The only person who knows about his new-found love for bug candy is Mr Stark.
Happy new years everyone! Let’s hope the next year is better than the last few, be careful if you’re out celebrating, and don’t worry if you didn’t reach every goal you set at the beginning of 2021, next year is a new year for everyone, and that means new opportunities to improve.
Stay hydrated, stay safe, get plenty of sleep, and remember to smile! You’re never fully dressed without one!
I’m gonna be honest: I feel like superhero movies and TV shows should be animated.
There’s just something about live action that makes them, ironically enough, less ‘alive’ feeling. Movement usually feels somewhat stilted in live action to me, even in the better action sequences. Not to mention that you can just do more with animation than you ever could with live action.
(Not mentioning as well that if an actor stops working for a project, it’s far easier to get a replacement voice actor than it is to get a normal actor to replace a live action role.)
-Sometimes he gets carried away in the moment and doesn’t realize if he’s bothering you. Being loud and having super speed can do that. However, he’s also quick to notice your discomfort and will often make an attempt to rein in if he’s being a bit...too much. (That and Wanda will also make a habit of reminding him if he’s not remembering.)
-He picked you up and ran off with you once. The result really depending on your reaction to it.
If you found yourself overstimulated, he ends up being incredibly hesitant to use his super speed with you again.
If you really enjoyed it and are sensation-seeking, he’ll most likely use any and all opportunity to pick you up and run around with you again.
Either way, he tries to warn you in advance just so he doesn’t catch you too off-guard.
-He definitely has stolen fidget toys for you before. And he’ll do it again.
-If you’re touch adverse, he might need some time to get used to that, he’s a very physically affectionate person. But he is very willing to show his affection in other ways.
If you aren’t touch adverse, be prepared for a lot of PDA.
-Someone’s being ableist to you and he sees? Two seconds later, they’re stuffed into a trash can. He’s very very petty about ableism towards you. When you look at him afterwards, he’ll look at you with this big smile. “I bet he didn’t see that coming.”
-He obviously finds it really hard to sit still, so most of the time, he doesn’t even notice your stimming. In a way, you could say he stims as well, so he’s probably the most casual about it out of all the Avengers.
-His first instinct, whenever he sees you having a meltdown, is getting you away from wherever you are and taking you somewhere isolated and quiet. (Whether he uses his super speed to do this or not depends on your reaction to it as stated above.) From there, he’ll attempt to calm you down and help you relax.
-Talking about your hyperfixations is something that generally happens mostly in the gym while you two are training. Pietro may seem like he’s not listening sometimes, but if you stop talking he’ll instantly ask why you’ve suddenly gone quiet.
-Not getting sarcasm and sass is something that Pietro and you might need to work through considering... I mean, he’s Pietro, his first language isn’t Sokovian, it’s sass. This is also the one thing that kind of frustrates him, but he’ll usually brush it off, after all, it’s not more important to him than you are.
-Pietro finds it much much easier to sleep when you’re with him. If you have trouble sleeping due to your Autism, he’ll often make little ‘nights’ with you, where you’ll both stay up and just spend time together until you both eventually crash. Maybe not the healthiest of strategies, but it usually works.
