"Cut it out!" Sanji cried trying not to stomp his foot. "Im big enough to prep the main course! Im not a little kid anymore!"

Zeff looked down at the scrawny nine year old spitfire.

"My hat is bigger than you eggplant," Zeff huffed. "Until youre taller than it, youll always be just a little brat in my eyes."

Sanji growled, but Zeff didnt miss the way he eyed the hat dubiously.

"Your hat is ridiculous!" He finally declared, stomping his way back to the corner to continue chopping vegtables.

If Zeff caught the brat measuring himself against the hat once or twice, he certainly didnt say anything.

And even if he heard Sanji muttering and complaining about it throughout the years, neither of them ever brought up how each time Sanji hit a growth spurt, so too did Zeffs chef hat.

Remember when you saw that trailer, and you thought “I’m gonna go see that movie”?

Remember when you passed by that book, and you thought “I’m gonna read that book”?

Remember when you saw that sneak peek, and you thought “I’m gonna watch that TV show”?

Remember when you walked into that theater, seeing what would grow to be your favorite movie for the first time?

Remember when you sat down on that couch, preparing to read the first sentence of the book that would soon crush your heart?

Remember when you auto tuned that show, unaware that this would soon become your life?

Remember when you watched the credits roll across the screen, in time with the possible tears rolling down your cheeks?

Remember when you read that last paragraph, and closed the book to sit in awe, sadness, wonder?

Remember that first season finale, the finale that tore apart your insides and left you with the worst cliffhanger?

As the final movie, the final book, the final episode draws near, do you remember those days, the days before the movie, before the book, before the show?

I was once got so into a book I literally screamed in the middle of a classroom when a character died.

don't you think the whole college system is useless? not only does it cost unholy amount of money, but it really isn't nothing more than another few years of high school...wouldn't it be better to just learn all the general knowledge at hs and then study your major at college with very narrow focus? i mean, if i study geology, there's no place for psychology classes or history of russia classes

I feel like the amount of pressure we put on students to immediately go into 4 year universities, the way we structure schools to make it really difficult to transfer credits and the huge stigma that still exists with going to community college first and transfer out is where the problem lies.

My mom is really encouraging me to go to community college first for several reasons

1.) Its helllaaa cheaper, also I’m top 10% in my class and in NJ certain community colleges give you the first 2 years free if you are top 15%

2.) Eventually we will have free community college in the usa, it will happen there is no way to avoid it without the entire country rebelling

3.) You can fuck up and get used to what college work feels like without wasting university level tuitions

4.) It gets all your gen-eds out the way so once you go to that sparkly uni you are put right into your major courses
