We were displaced from the north of the Gaza Strip to the south of the Strip, and the family was dispersed in tents and displacement shelters. Our situation is very miserable. We do not have any of the necessities of life. We would not have asked for support and donations except because of our dire circumstances. Last day of the year has finally arrived and I couldnt be happier. In 2023 my game was turned from hard mode and set to nightmare mode. (The universe was like "you thought you had it tough, here, hold my beer…" 😆) Therefore, considering everything, Im very proud of the things Ive managed to accomplish. Seeing the recent bigoted comments by transgender Olympian Hergie Bacyadan, it's past time for the perisex trans community to address the normalized intersexism/interphobia that so many of us spread.
The intersex community is constantly used as a prop by the trans community. The most frequent way you see trans people speak about intersex issues is just to remind transphobes that sex isn't binary, which is meaningless when the trans community still strictly enforces intersexist binaries like AMAB vs AFAB and TME vs TMA and Transfemme vs Transmasc, all categories that many if not most intersex people, trans or cis, cannot fit neatly into. The trans community uses the intersex community to win arguments and than makes next to no effort to make our intersex siblings feel welcome.
When talking about HRT and gender affirming care for minors, the trans community almost never uplifts the voices of the intersex community who are often forced to undergo HRT as children and surgery on their genitalia as actual babies against their will. It is important for HRT and gender affirming care to be available to transgender children, it is just as important to keep these same things that can be life saving for trans children from being forced onto intersex children who do not consent.
I implore all perisex trans people to do some reading into the history of intersex activism, and the sad reality of life for intersex people today when so many governments and health systems are still bigoted against intersex people. Uplift intersex voices, always.

i really want to donate in aid to the Palestinians in Gaza, but knowing some people who are involved with charities personally, they have shared many stories of corruption within big charities. this followed by the influx of scams that can happen in this time, i’m really afraid of money from good-willed people going to the wrong places instead of helping those truly in urgent need. are there any verified charities validated by Palestinian journalists on the ground? and how can i be sure that my donations will go to the right places? thank you for all that you have been doing by the way, im wishing you well.
hi anon - there are a few direct aid organisations that you can donate to that are doing verifiable good work and goes straight to helping Palestinians.
One of these is CareforGaza, which distributes food, hygiene products, and other living supplies directly to families in need in Gaza. They take their donations via Paypal.
The second is E-sims for Gaza, which is organised by Mirna El Helbawi and her group of workers. They distribute e-sims directly to Palestinians so that they can keep connected to the world and each other. So far, they've distributed over 130,000 e-sims. There is a comprehensive post teaching you how to purchase and send e-sims here.
Other organisations that also do good work with your coin but are perhaps less immediate are the PCRF and the UNWRA which are responsible for delivering truckloads of aid (whenever Israel allows them to). However, if you wanna get the most bang for your buck, I'd recommend the two options I explained above.
