Did this little piece over the course of these last few days.
I cannot stress enough on how difficult it is to take a proper photo of this guy..all you can see is glare and it’s such a shame because he looks so goddamn ✨pretty✨ in person. I love him.🖤

Crown Prince Stiles is gifted a direwolf on his eighteenth birthday by King Gerard I of Venatia. The only instruction? Never remove the collar.
Stiles never has been one to do as he’s told.
I did this stained glass window art three years ago when I first started posting the fic, and did plan to do one for each chapter. Ultimately, I’m no artist so it would have taken me way too long (seriously, this took me hooours) and I think the drawing bug just left me (and my confidence haha). Looking at it now, I’m actually kind of proud of it, and it makes me wonder what one for each of the other chapters would look like, but I can’t remember for the life of me the technique I used to make the glass texture, and I’m not in possession of my drawing tablet right now. So this is all there is!
(Also, I know Stiles’ mouth is impossibly floating, but no way that I put connecting lines in looked right so I just left it!)
hot take but the main reason "the wayne family has a secret evil legacy" storylines don't work for me is because they run counter to how the story frames the waynes deaths.
the reason the death of thomas and martha wayne matters more than its effect on a young bruce is that they were the last good family among the upper crust. thomas was a self sacrificing doctor and martha started and ran the charity foundation of their company. wayne enterprises treated its employees well and stayed out of shady business and the mob scene. they didn't die in that alley bc they were stupid, oblivious rich people fucking around, but because they had been working on meaningfully cleaning up that area and wanted their son to see and be among the people they were trying to help. they wanted their son to care about who they were helping. they walked down that street because gotham was their home and they loved it regardless of its faults -a mindset bruce does in fact inherit despite every reason to the contrary.
making the waynes have a "dark history" just takes away from the tragedy of actually good, caring people being killed for basically no reason in a city that really needed them.
let's get ✨vulnerable✨
