bitchin. you probably already know this but make sure you take the wrappings of the thread with you when you’re color matching, and check online as well to find the other brand equivalent. matching by eye isn’t always accurate.

So I’ve just started my first embroidery project and apparently the reason the thread in this kit keeps fraying when I try to thread the needle is because you’re supposed to undo the strands instead of using the whole thread. I find this out two flowers of suffering into this project. No wonder I ran out of that color so fast.

My cat was evidently not friendly to anyone else but he adored me. I was his furless mommy since the day I got him. He’d frequently follow me around, cuddle with me whenever I sat down, and repeatedly try to hop into my lap whenever I sat down to do school or play games. I taught him to stand on his legs when I snapped my fingers over his head and always knew when I was upset.

I think it’s absolutely hilarious that we both managed to independently come up with the idea of “Ford needs an alien spouse and a half alien daughter”. Like get that monsterfucker an alien wife/husband and make sure he can be the girl dad we always knew he could be. Superb.

I was encouraged to write more comments and make my love known to fanfic writers.

I dont really like commenting. Because im a bit shy and soooo lazy.

Now though. I am writing more comments. And dude. This is so heartwarming. Ya'll need to treat writers better. They are doing the lord's work.

Take for an example, couple of days prior, i was searching for something interesting to read, and found an oneshot quite compelling.

I read it. At the end of it, i was blown away by how good it was. It promised me something and it went beyond my expectations. But then i saw a crime, zero fucking comments!

At that moment, i wasn't feeling up to writing a comment. Because, normally i like to write huge paragraphs. But because im lazy i decided to be brief.

Next day, the author answered that the comment lift their mood for the whole day.

That warmed my heart.

Duuuuuuuude! Write comments! Suport the writers of the fics you like! No need to be something super elaborate. Just give your thoughts. Freak out. Ramble. Ask something. Make theories. Compliment. Make a joke about how you wished to give kudos every chapter but ao3 sucks(not true bby) and won't let you.

Truly. Just. Comment. It can make someone's day. And that is part of the apeal of writing fics. Interacting with people.

Just give love to fanfic writers yall. They deserve this and so much more.

You know, your art inspireed a thought I thought you might like for a bit of “Ford taking care of Stan” kind of vibe. Stan’s hair is much whiter than Ford’s, and I can imagine Ford having thoughts about how much stress Stan was under to have his hair go so much more grey. I do like the idea of Ford noticing a bit more about Stan and his well-being once they go out and about sailing. Stan has definitely noticed some things about Ford as well. I absolutely love mother hen Ford and how fussy he can be over Stan when Stan gets hurt or sick. Ford also gets fussy when Stan does not so favorable habits and Ford is a little sneak about cutting off those habits. Naturally, Stan has to do the same with Ford. It's only fair after all.
