what makes humans so beautiful is our diversity. we are intelligent creatures that cannot expect ourselves to fit into narrow labels of what we are “supposed to be”.
explore your identity. educate yourself on how anti-queerness is rooted in racism and colonialism (specifically the erasure of nonwhite cultures and how it led to modern day issues). if you can find community, don’t be scared to connect to it. try new things. expand your horizons. see the empathy and compassion in the world.
open your heart. there is love in your soul and kindness in your veins. there is still enough time for you. i love you and all that you are. happy pride month. i’m glad you’re alive and here to read this.
and if you feel like queer people are in anyway unnatural or wrong: reflect on what environmental and social factors led you to hold your current morals. do you have your own thoughts on these matters, or do you echo the voices of people who have thought for you?

The thing is that getting Palestine free is both very difficult but not as difficult as getting South Africa free. South Africa had more resources than Israel does, it could hold out so much longer and still the apartheid was ended by people working tirelessly and boycotting and pushing for divestment and sanctions. These methods will work for freeing Palestine too.
I know it doesn't feel like there have been many successes, but all the politicians are feeling the pressure. Pressure that we are able to sustain and even increase as we come up with new initiatives and convince new people to join.
One of the reasons they're resisting our pressure so strongly is because they know that when we see gains we will push harder, we will continue to push until the stones falling becomes a rock fall and Palestine's freedom is secured. They know if we get a taste of the power we can wield we'll turn that onto freeing Congo too. They know we're unhappy and have been for a long time and their very secure system starts to look a lot less secure when we start mobilising to change things.

I think a lot of what people have missed about the Jordan protests right now is that there are many Palestinians in Jordan (Jordan is home to the largest Palestinian refugee population in the world) - a lot of the protesters you’re seeing out on the streets aren’t just Jordanian but Palestinian refugees watching what has been happening in their original homeland and to their families.
