It’s been about a year since I put these up so I thought it was about time for a bit of an update. I’ve added the most recent comic from Free Comic Book Day about Joker, put placeholders for the new series Foundation and updated all the links.

First off, none of these files were created by me, they have come from various places and friends when I wanted digital copies of the books and comics in addition to my hard copies. So thank you to all the kind people who have uploaded these over the past few years.

Mass Effect: He Who Laughs Best - a single-issue comic released on May 4, 2013 for Free Comic Book Day 2013. It delves into how Jeff “Joker" Moreau became the SSV Normandy’s pilot prior to the events of Mass Effect.

Mass Effect: Ascension (Novel) - Set a few months after the events of Mass Effect, and concerns a young biotic prodigy, Gillian Grayson, pursued by Cerberus. 

Mass Effect: Redemption - A prequel to Mass Effect 2, and is set a few months after the opening events of Mass Effect 2. The plot involves Liara T’Soni, Cerberus, and a mission of the utmost urgency.

My Dragon Age Couples

Alistair Theirin x Selky Cousland

a young, playful couple who coped with shouldering the fate of the world by carving out time to have many sweet, silly, and tender moments together

when I think of my Cousland, I'm reminded of a song lyric: "a little innocent, a little naughty" as she lived a sheltered noble life, but found she loved getting her hands dirty--and couldn't keep them off Alistair either

she also gets jealous easily even though she has nothing to worry about since King Alistair is madly in love with his rough-and-tumble, ball-and-chain queen

the legendary, fairytale union between the witty, handsome King Alistair and the pretty, doe-eyed Hero of Ferelden are often gossiped about throughout Thedas

Fenris x Liora Hawke

a serious couple who went through a lot of highs and lows and have many differences, but will always be there for each other

my Hawke is sarcastic and as charming as a politician, but shows her tender side only to those closest to her

she's rather vain about her appearance and her warrior fighting style left her with many facial scars over the years which causes her much dismay

Fenris easily picks up on her self-consciousness and reminds her that she is still the most beautiful woman he's ever seen

Cullen Rutherford x Tauni Trevelyan

a caring, passionate couple who share guilt over finding such a beautiful romance with each other due to the weight of responsibilities and burdens they bear

my Trevelyan is very kind and faithful, which many might consider weak or naive, but it's because of her strength that she can walk a path of compassion

she always gives more than she takes so her tenderness cracked the heart of her beloved commander, allowing him to finally recover from his lyrium addiction

With her a mage and Cullen a former templar, Tauni always ruminated over what he thought about her and she struggled to overcome her reservations despite her deep attraction to him

Cullen's awkwardness empowered Tauni to open up and relax since she found teasing him to be very amusing

Genji/Reader no warnings!

You've learned it's not easy being Genji's partner.

First there's the whole Overwatch business - he's always busy, following odd hours for other timezones in order to be functional for missions, training to be at his sharpest, getting tune-ups and such from the doctor whenever something breaks (and things frequently break when you're a cyborg ninja trying to save the world). At least most of his teammates are nice to you, and you even got Lúcio's autograph to boot. Maybe next time you'll work up the courage to ask for Zarya's...

Then there's his teacher, Zenyatta. You feel like you're practically sharing Genji with him half the time, with how often they're together (though you bear it gracefully, knowing how much the monk means to him). He seems to like you well enough though, and has given the occasional word of encouragement when you aren't so certain about your relationship.

And then there's his brother.

Hanzo is, to put it frankly, pretty hard to read, and you don't actually see him too often, but the times he is around... you're not sure if he judges everyone the way he seems to be judging you, or if it's just a bad case of resting bitch face, but either way it's not the most comfortable of interactions. But you put on a smile since Genji's always around when Hanzo's around, as if perhaps he's a little worried about how Hanzo might act without him around. Or how you might act.

But the way he takes off his helmet as soon as you're alone with him, takes a deep breath and sighs in relief? That alone is worth all the trouble that comes with being his partner.

... Okay maybe it's about the kisses and the sex too. He is pretty damn good at those. They're certainly nothing to complain about, that's for certain. And there's also something to be said for the way he says your name, like he's treasuring every letter of it before it leaves his mouth. Plus those beautiful eyes, always changing colors, full of adoration when he thinks you aren't looking? Just perfect. Hard not to be absolutely smitten when he's such a gentleman at all the right moments, too.

Of course, you're smitten right now with his head in your lap, hands brushing through the short green locks whose color he maintains so meticulously. It's a wonder he can keep it so soft still with all that coloring...

Though he's half asleep it seems, he still opens his eyes when your petting pauses, bright green to match his hair looking up at you curiously. "Getting tired?"

"Hm? Oh, no. Just got lost in thought is all."

"I see. And what were you thinking about?"

You pause for a moment, then shrug a little. "Not much, really. Just about how things have been lately."

He tilts his head a little in return, closing his eyes as you return to your petting. "How do you feel about it?"

"Well... worried about Null Sector, and all the other things going on right now, but also... happy? To be with you, and knowing you and Overwatch are working hard to stop all the bad things."

A smile tugs at his mouth, a bit lopsided thanks to one of his scars, and it makes you smile a bit as well. "We are doing our best, I promise. I would spend more time with you were it not for those things..."

"I can be patient. Being a hero is hard work, I get it!"

This time Genji laughs quietly, reaching up without even opening his eyes to let his fingers graze over your cheek. You lean into the touch, sighing. Moments like these are too far apart; you have to savor every second that slips by.

"I hope it is not too much of a burden to bear."

"Of course not! I just wish I could do more for you." It can be a struggle having to sit on the sidelines while he's out there risking his neck to save people and stop Null Sector.

His fingers catch on your jaw and guide you into leaning down, close enough for an upside down kiss that you're happy to give him. Once you've had your fill you start to pull back, but his hand has you remaining close enough to feel his breath tickle your skin as he says, "This is more than enough, to have you by my side."

"Then I guess I'll just have to stay here."

Another soft kiss, and then you're free to straighten up this time, taking his hand in yours while the other returns to combing his hair. Genji has his eyes closed again, but he's smiling as he lies there and you're pretty sure he won't drift off as easily this time.

Not easy being his partner, sure. But these moments make every oddity and issue absolutely worth it.

having a bit of a rough day and I needed some fluff with my favorite boys so here we are :) kinda similar to this, but oh well

Cassidy:

honestly isn’t great when it comes to feelings

but especially not great with his own

one of his biggest love languages is gift giving so whenever you’re sad he’ll just give you stuff 

a cupcake from that place you’ve been wanting to try, a limited edition of your favorite book 

he’s not against some quality time sitting down with you either 

if you want to talk about your feelings, he’ll listen, but he probably won’t say much in return 

not that he’s not listening, because trust me, he is

he just isn’t sure what to say and doesn’t want to risk upsetting you more

so instead he’ll respond with slight touches 

a squeeze to the hand for reassurance, a kiss on the forehead 

once you start to feel better, he’ll propose a pyjama party and movie marathon 

and he’ll watch whatever movie you choose with a smile on his face bcs he knows it’ll make you happy

Genji:

pretty well adjusted when it comes to emotions 

he learned from the best after all

insanely good listener 

like can sit there and listen to you talk for hours to try and understand what you’re feeling 

very good at empathising with you too

will hold your hand and rub his thumb against your palm 

makes sure to keep you well hydrated and well fed

he’s not the best cook given he spent most of his youth on more important things (like being a slut) 

so he’ll probably just order you your favorite takeout 

he’ll tell you stories of his youth just to make you laugh even if he’s embarrassed as hell about it

makes sure you feel loved and understood because he never wants you to feel alone

Lucio:

silly little music man 

he will do anything it takes to cheer you up

probably plays you a song on his guitar or something and changes lyrics to be silly/fit you 

his first instinct is to always make you laugh 

but he realizes that isn’t always what you need 

so he’ll put the guitar away and settle down with you

grabs your hands and says something like 

“let’s talk this out” 

let’s you vent whatever you’re feeling (or not feeling) 

and does his absolute best to listen even tho he isn’t always great at it 

your ability to express emotions has always been something he’s admired about you

and is one reason why you’ll forever be his muse 

and he makes sure you know it so you’ll never feel embarrassed to cry in front of him 

Ramattra:

he’s an absolute brick wall when it comes to human things

but especially feelings 

he can’t experience the full calibre of emotions that humans do so it’s hard for him to comprehend them 

still, he hates seeing you upset and in pain, so he’ll try almost anything to cheer you up 

he can’t exactly fight your feelings so he settles on a more…pacifist approach 

probably asks Zen what to do lol 

treads very lightly with you and is super careful not to invalidate whatever you’re feeling 

goes for physical comfort before anything 

wraps you up in a blanket and holds you in his lap

he’ll even put his work away and let you cuddle up to him for as long as you need

weird but I feel like he would rock you?? 

just something soothing he’s seen other humans do and figures it might help 

it does

once you feel better he is super flustered about being so vulnerable 

Zenyatta:

as soon as he notices you getting sad and mopey, he’s on it 

brews you a kickass cup of tea and probably makes you some comfort food 

even tho he’s an omnic he’s a surprisingly good cook 

brings you a mug of tea and a steaming plate of momos and settles in bed with you 

even if he can’t feel emotions to the calibre you do, he’s still an empath and hates seeing you like this 

let’s you lay on his lap and relax and talk it out 

probably reads one of your favourite books with you

or if you can’t focus you guys will watch something in bed 

strokes your hair and talks to you in his soothing voice 

will comfort you through whatever you are dealing with 

whether it’s something silly or something serious, your emotions are not something he takes lightly

This is a dream…or some cruel, horrendous joke.

But he’s right there. He’s alive.

The Young Wolf’s knees meet earth with an unceremonious thud as she stares up at her Vanguard, her mentor, her friend.

You’re alive?

The Ace of Spades is a steady weight on her hip but for a moment, it isn’t a crushing reminder of her failure but a firm reassurance from a friend. Is this what hope feels like? After so long, trudging from one debilitating atrocity to another, can she…finally have a win without repercussions?

Can she have her best friend back?

“Hey kiddo,” Cayde smiles at her, moving from his place beside the Warlock Vanguard to approach the trembling Hunter. He kneels down, laying a hand - Traveler, it’s solid, it’s real - along her shoulder. Her head lifts a fraction and in an instant, her arms are bound around his neck and a heavy, anguished sob is torn from her chest.

“Aw, missed me, huh?” He tries to tease even as he gathers the Guardian into his arms and holds her tight. “It’s okay. I’m fine, yeah?”

She can’t answer. Words are knots in her throat that will not dislodge.

Cayde-6 looks over his shoulder at Ikora with a smile and she folds her arms across her chest, a gentle warmth to her smile as they stay in silence.

He's here and she can - fuck, she's missed him.

After the Leviathan, after making peace with his death - she never dreamt she'd see him again.

And maybe it's not really him.

But the arms that hold her are too familiar to deny.

You're alive.

She's sure this is only temporary. Some last ditch effort from the Traveler to protect itself. To rally.

But she doesn't care.

Maybe this time…she'll get to say goodbye.

Reaper/Gabriel Reyes x Reader

Alright! It’s been a while since I’ve written for Overwatch characters so bare with me! It wasn’t specified what part of Gabe’s little timeline to do so I'm going to try a little bit of both Blackwatch and Talon era. I hope you enjoy this my beautiful requester of mine!

Blackwatch/Gabriel Reyes

Okay, to start off, I picture Gabriel to be a lot more verbally affectionate with his lover than he would be as Reaper though I think that this is agreeable from nearly every point of view. 

His favorite thing to do when waking up to start the day is tell you how much he loves you as you awaken as well. And if you’re already awake, it’ll be the first thing he says the moment he lays eyes on you.

Whispering sweet nothings to you when its just the two of you alone is a fun little hobby he’s picked up (bonus points if it pulls a blush from you). This goes for any occasion, including when you two are having a sweet moment together, having a more intimate moment together, or when you need to be cheered up in anyway.

That being said, this doesn’t exclude physical love as well, seeing as this is his personal favorite way to show affection. 

It’s actually his go to way of showing he’s sorry if an argument occurs of if a recent risky mission had scared you and made you worry for his safety.

Gabriel is a big dude, so carrying you or just holding you to his frame isn’t a problem for him. Most of the time, you don’t mind it either. Being in his hold makes you feel safe.

Whenever you two cuddle, Gabe is always the big spoon. This is mostly cause his height and build make it almost impossible to be the little spoon for him. As stated before, you do not mind. Being so close in such a secure hold makes it easy for you to fall asleep snuggled against his chest in complete comfort.

Gabe is more likely to do and/or say something more cheesy in your relationship around this time and before his Blackwatch days if you have been together that long. Something like the arm around the shoulders as part of a stretch and a yawn act, kissing you in the rain when you get caught in it on the way back from taking a stroll around town, and other cheesy things you see in movies like that. Yes, this includes cheesy pickup lines and puns.

Talon/Reaper

Gabe is definitely more reserved after the explosion than he was before it. This mostly stems from the experiments that Moira had done on him and what he had become as a result of them. He doesn’t want to scare you or hurt you. You’re the last thing he has that is oh so precious to him.

To say the least, it takes a hell of a lot of reassurance to convince him to open up to you and show how he really feels. 

He’s rarely verbal to you when it comes to affection. Physical affection takes full affect here. You’ll have to notice the little things a lot more than you usually would have in order to realize he is showing his love. This ranges from small touches and remembering to do little things for you each morning to gentle embraces when the two of you are alone.

He’s usually up and gone for his ‘work’ before you wake up, but he always makes sure certain things are done for you so you don’t have to bother with them when you finally awaken. Things like having the morning coffee ready and leaving little non-written reminders in certain places. For example, if you have an appointment that day, he’ll place whatever you usually write your events (like a booklet or calendar) on the counter top for you to see whenever you get coffee that morning.

Unless you’re in Talon already, he does his best to keep you separate from his work entirely. This pairs up with not wanting you to get hurt. You’re all that he has left in his miserable existence and he doesn’t plan on loosing you so soon.

If you are in Talon, he keeps a close eye on you at almost all times. This especially applies if you are on a mission together. You are the only thing he’d ever put above an operation if need be.

If you are ever harmed during a mission, he is usually the one to patch up your wounds in private. Yes, it would be more efficient if Moira or whatever other healer on their team patches you up, but he prefers to be the one to do it as a simple way to spend more time with you. Not that he’d ever admit that to anyone else except for you.

If you were apart of Overwatch/are currently apart of Overwatch, things would be a bit iffy for him in the beginning. What if you were just getting close to him to bring him in? Reassurance is needed here once again and a lot of it.

He would show up to kill you after trying to convince himself that you are trying to deceive him and that he needed to kill all members of Overwatch as originally planned, but wouldn’t be able to pull the trigger when he got face to face. He curses himself for the feelings he felt for you in that moment but he never regrets it to this day when he holds you close as the two of you fall asleep.
