(the rat tail was cute while it lasted but I feel like when hes older hes gonna look back and cringe)

Honestly, I last watched Sinbad when I was like, idk, 8 years old? I didn't really know what to expect from a movie that I watched 15 years ago, but still, I really wanted to do it.

I must say that I'm positively surprised. It's so much better than I remember it to be? The story, animation, characters - all of those components complement one another. Also the music fits so well?

I think that I did not appreciate it enough as a kid. But it may be because this animation feels like it can't be fully grasped (?) by kids. And I'm not talking about some adult jokes they sneaked in, but more like atmosphere and relations between characters.

Also, idk, it just feels so queer? It's like none of the main characters is straight. And you can see it from the very beginning of the movie. (just more reasons to love this movie) I just know for sure that I'll rewatch it again and again

Ahhh we were so robbed of seeing him with his hair down , pretty sure on scrapped art he would have had his hair down through the rest of the movie. I’ll go look for it and post it later pretty sure I have an image save from my laptop, when I saw it I was so salty.
