So excited to announce that I’ll be at Playgrounds In Motion in London next month! This event will take place on September 8-9. I’ll be having a conversation with Izzy Burton on stage, and of course I’ll be signing books too! 

Also, did you know that Procreate will be hosting a special event where they reveal a new project that they’ve been working on? I have no idea what it is but I am so very curious! I’m attending their launch event and I can’t wait to see what their reveal will be ✨

Group photo time! An assignment for my digital illustration class, in which we had to include at least 20 figures in a cell shaded drawing. As I cell shade in my sleep, this ended up being a really fun assignment!

Lately I’ve been seeing a lot of decoden and polymer clay questions about what to use to as a gloss/glaze. Almost every time the first response is “Clear nail polish, duh!”.

This needs to stop if people want to be creating quality items. Sometimes I’m afraid to buy handmade things for fear that they have been sealed with clear nail polish and they will deteriorate over time. I want to buy things that will last!

Here is my Atena design!

I'm thinking of making her a little more muscular, but slender, as if she represented the agility of battles. She rarely smiles, like a strict teacher who wants the best for you and one way or another, she will always be remembered. Also her snakes re a refference to medusa, as they represent each other (as my friend told me and I love to see like that).

And! Apollo and Athena after 'God Games' in EPIC - the musical and she gets this lightning scar.

Zeus beat the crap out of her, but he would never kill Athena!! And I like that it suits him to be so strict with her, at least for me, she is the oldest daughter and the one who suffers the most pressure. What I dont like... its that in Epic, Zeus changed to look worse again!! ;w; really, he was way chill about releasing Odisseus and just wanted to not upset Poseidon in the process....

Story time: I’ve had acne since I was 11. I inherited it from my dad. After almost 25 years of taking hormones to treat it, I went off the pill last year because I was tired of the side effects. The acne came back, and even though I had prepared myself for that beforehand, it’s still really challenging. I can’t help but feel a sense of shame when my skin breaks out. At the same time, I would never judge anybody else for having blemishes. Skin texture is such a complicated thing and I have so many emotions around it. So here are some drawings of pretty girls with blemishes - it helps me process some of these complicated feelings. And hugs to all of you who also suffer from skin problems - you’re not alone!
