I’m sick and tired of sharing the Minecraft space with people who have no interest in creating a safe space online - especially for a game rated for like kids and teens like.

It’s the reason I feel myself cringe when I tell people I make Minecraft content, not because I’m embarrassed it’s a kids game but because of the people that have notoriously occupied the space.

I’m sick of it, and the truth is, it’s all so much worse behind the scenes, and I can’t just stop and leave because its my job, and this game has become my LIFE.

Anyone who doxes, harasses, threatens, harms, or abuses power have no place in my community and aren’t welcome.

That includes other content creators

Sorry for the little rant post. I’ve been upset for months, and yet I’ve never felt like it was something I could share because I myself didn’t feel comfortable. So many memories and experiences new and old swirling around and clouding my mind.

I appreciate you guys so much, and above all I want you, adult or child, to remain safe online and offline.

Some union basics:

1. Striking is the LAST RESORT. If a union is at the place where a strike is being proposed it is because they have been bargaining for a long time and exhausted all their other options.

2. Before a strike happens, all the members vote. Everyone is very aware of the status of negotiations long before they’re made public. But if a strike is occurring it’s because an overwhelming majority voted to strike—you want almost everyone in the union to agree before you take such a huge step.

3. Strikes are difficult but necessary demonstrations of workers’ collective power. The hope is that your labor is so essential that the bosses lost profits will make them come back to the bargaining table. The bosses are hoping that the workers will starve to death.

4. Working during a strike is called scabbing. Coming in from an outside industry to do work during a strike is sometimes called crossing the picket line. Both send you straight to hell.

i need pepple to understand that in the first place leather has always been made from the byproducts of butchering animals for meat, otherwise the skin is just tossed and unused. there were some companies farming for leather for a while, particuarly alligator leather, but those were not the norm. peta did so much harm in their campaigns against leather as a concept (its not unethical. yoi get the skin when an animal dies. thats why most leather clothes in the usa are cow leather, bc thats the biggest meat animal here) that its almost impossible to buy anything "leather" that isnt made of plastic that it so fragile and shitty that the very Thread Holding It Together rips the fibers apart. it will last for maybe a year two if youre lucky, and wont biodegrade and was made out of something that isnt naturally occurring in the first place and is one of the biggest causes of pollution globally
