DnD idea, when a metallic dragon alignment is evil they they become oxidized. Like a silver dragon would be a tarnished silver dragon, and a copper dragon would be a oxidized copper dragon. They would also get the traits of that type of metal when it's oxidized. The inverse can happen to chromatic dragons (their alignment is good) except they become more gem like. Red dragons could become a Ruby red dragon, blue dragons could be sapphire blue dragons, and so on so forth.

if you took an oxidized dragon and dumpedmped them in coke would they revert to being good aligned?

Maybe, I guess coke could change their alignments back.
