about the tags. your headcanon actually fits so well into the story??? this does make sense and also. also fits my silly metaphor about the distortion as a chemical reaction um. "michael changed its nature as an entity" as one compound forms with another a new third compound that can react with a fourth. michael shelley and the distortion have formed something that is neither of them but has parts of both as well as entirely new qualities. and only then was this thing able to enter into the correct reaction with helen and come to its next form and.
