Can more authors balantly self insert themselves into the side characters who constantly voice their shipping feels at the most inappropriate moments that's just good stuff. Like
"I hate you!" "I hate you more!!" *appearing uncomfortably close to their faces from God knows where* "Now kiss."
Two same gender people *glaring intensely at each other* "that's gay babes"
A *compliments B* "I ship it bitches!"
Just top tier comedy. Love.

I was made from mismatched pieces,
God's leftovers,
A warrior's heart,
And a dreamer's mind
And a gentle soul
And a chaotic existence.
Then they shoved me in this tiny little useless body, and sent me into battle.
Without ever teaching me to fight,
Or bothering with armour.

Hero gets a hold of villains blueprints/plans. BUT the hero is a huge nerd and the villains plan is full of mistakes.
"Are you kidding me?! The estimation of *scientific jargon* is so *scientific jargon* it's gonna vapourise... But, but if we change this variable then *scientific jargon* it can work— I mean not, I uh mean ah your plan is correct. You should ah totally go through with it.
The "Hero finds out they are working for the currupt/evil side and the villian is actually the good guy" literally never had a bad track.
Angsty "And who decided I'm the bad guy? My enemies." SLAPS, extended " I'm no expert but that might be a bit biased." ROCKS
The hero now having to work with the villian. YES. Getting a bastard-isation arc cause "they are my family." It got better. Long drawn story filled with side switching and double-crossing, TEN season/book material right there m'lord.
The AGGRESSIVELY UNDERLYING message of, overthrow your local currupt government today. Gets me every time!!!
The hero shows up to foil the villains plan but instead end up fighting that other hero, their rival, who also showed up to fight them. While the vilain presumably drinks a margarita, both confused, amused and carrying out their plan before their bickering ends.
A: "I'll handle handle this, you can go home and bake cookies or something."
B: "Really? And tell me how you plan to fight a supervillain. The power of friendship?"
A: *sigh* "Can we just be civil about this."
B: "No we cannot you stole my binkin' promotion"
A: "Fine.I'll let you help me defeat them. Deal?
B: "bish, excuse me."
Elf is on the shelf, follow for trash to be on the dash
Warning- Angst ahead
when the villian and hero couple are in front of the bigger villian that villian worked under and in deep danger and have to pretend to fight to avoid said danger, clumsily throwing punches at each other with with stiff hands, holding a dagger to the throat but it's trembling badly, subconsciously getting close to each and trying to touch in any way for some sort of comfort, fervently glancing at the bigger villian to see how they're reacting, the villians crippling guilt in feeling responsible, trying to communicate with eyes and form a plan but their mind can't work over how scared they are, more for the other person than them
Yeah I want that

" I would like to, uh get to know you."
"Um, to find out my weakness and use it against me? Dude, we're literally mortal enemies, why are you acting like this is a first date."
"Because you're unlike anyone I've ever known and you're wonderful and I keep waiting for you to disappoint me but you never do, and I don't think this hateful mutual admiration is enough anymore. I want to know the delightful experience of loving you, actually loving you."

The pushing them away was designed to be such a can't go wrong with it trope it's honestly impressive how wrong twilight managed to go with it.
The 'im afraid whatever I can give them is just a cheap imitation of love and they deserve so much better than that' SLAps
The 'my entire life is walking on eggshells and they should get to live their lives to the fullest'
The screaming confessions in the rain like 'if you really love me you should know that being with you is what I want and I'm willing to do whatever it takes to do that,' ahHh
It's meant to show how deeply they care about each other and how much they're willing to sacrifice for each other but Hollywood really went no, commitment issues haha

When enemies have to work together to infiltrate some grand party and act like a couple to blend in. Ah, good stuff.
Dancing in order to spy on everyone and one of them keeps getting too invested on someone they're watching and end up too close to the other.
"Someone's coming! What should we do."
"Hmm, I wonder. What could two young attractive people be doing here in this dark hall."
"ahh..."
One is walking by a broom closet door and the other's hand darts out and pulls them in, putting a finger to their lips.
"You two are such a cute couple." A *wraps their hand around B's waist*
B *smiling pointedly* "Yeah we are."
My basic bitch trait is I'll always flip a table for the painfully cliche enemies to lovers trope of calling the other sweetheart or love or darling or shit derogatory at the start and both getting used to it and it slowly becoming affectionate.
AND, when they fight when they fight they don't call them that at all instead of it being condescending again because their relationship has fundamentally changed to the point of no return. AND and if their partner feels the absence and misses it so deeply realising the effed up. I will ascend to a higher plane bitch
