Now that we're officially in the Holiday Season what is your headcanon for the Robinson Family's favorite Christmas movies?
Ooooh I love this question! Here's my list of what each of the Robinson's favorite Christmas movie is:
Cornelius: All the classic claymation movies (The Year Without A Santa Claus, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, etc. Ever since he was adopted, his parents would turn those on while they decored their house.) π₯Ή
Franny: The Santa Clause. π (She's been watching it every year since she was a little girl.)
Wilbur: The Nightmare Before Christmas. ππ (Franny made it a point to show him all the classics, and he went through a phase where he dressed up as Jack Skellington for a month straight. π€)
Bud: National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. π π
Lucille: Miracle on 34th Street. π«Ά
Fritz: A Christmas Story. He makes it a point to watch the 24-hour rerun special every year. π°
Petunia: A Christmas Carol. (She rraltes to Scrooge a little too much...) π»
Laszlo: Krampus. (I get the vibe he's not a huge fan of the warm and fuzzy Christmas movies, and he prefers horror films. π€·ββοΈ)
Tallulah: Elf. ππ½
Joe and Billie: The Polar Express. π (They bonded over their love for it β€οΈ)
Art: Home Alone. π
Gaston: How the Grinch Stole Christmas ππ
Spike and Dimitri: They just watch whatever is on through the window. πͺπ«£
βIn earlier versions of the script, Carl had scenes that showcased more of his butler-like qualities. For example, his audition script featured a haircut for Mrs. Robinson.
βRyan Stiles and Weird Al were considered for the role
βIn one deleted scene, Carl shows Wilbur a piece of paper that tells him to go away. On this paper is a border illustration of Winnie the Pooh characters. In a strange coincidence, director Stephen J. Anderson would go on to co-direct a Winnie the Pooh film.
I feel like there are tons of photos everywhere it was just too much to add to the movie for whatever reason. They could also have a room where you can walk through the photos and hear the conversations they had before and after the picture was taken !
Thinking about meet the robinsons
i am still confused how a family like that doesn't have like thousand of pictures around the house.
you would expect to see a few of them
I feel they are the kind to have like progressing family photos as the family grows
